MM Contract(ME31K) Attachment with name of the attachment

Hello Experts,
I am trying to attach documents to the MM contract using the transaction ME31K with attachment document name but I unable to achieve this.
In OAC0/OAC2 we can configure type of document.
And attachment can be done using create->Store business document and drag and drop.
When I see the attachment list I could see only attachment list but I want to maintain the file name as well.
Anyone worked on this scenario?
Please help me.

my create attachment is disabled, how to enable? is there any settings required. What is the difference between Create Attachment and Store Business document(which is enabled now but we couldnt see the file names from attachment list).

This is smartform, and sending the output as pdf, except the the first page on which I have the text to be printed on the email body. In this email body text I have to display an email.
when user clicks on the email should open an outlook with the email id in the TO. Hope this helps.

Dynamic file name of the attachment in sender mail adapter

Hi
I have configured a sender mail adapter which receives some attachments.
Right now the file name of the attachment is hardcoded to "MailAttachment-1" "MailAttachment-2" using the content-description from "AF_Modules/PayloadSwapBean" module.
I want to set it to dynamic ie. instead of "MailAttachment-1"... i want it with real name of the attach.
please suggest a solution w/o the need to develop a custom adapter module.

Now, i can see that the name of the original file is into the content type named as text/xml; name"name of the file.xml" when i send the email from outlook.
If i send it from hotmail, this is not happend.
Do you know why happend this?
If i always would have the original name inside the content type, my problem will be solved.

Name of the attachment is not appearing in the mail!

I am using the FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send the mail with an XSL attachment, it is working fine but the problem is the name of the XSL attachment is not appearing, please see the below code how i am using

Execute the function module BBP_PROCDOC_ITEM_GETDETAIL by providing the item guid,object type . Now it will populate the et_attach importing parameter with the attatchement details.
In the ET_ATTATCH internal table , the field PHIO_FNAME/PHIO_PATH_FILE provides the physical storage location of the document.

How to get the name of the attachment in Sender Mail Adaper?

hi mates,
I've scenario a where in I need to pick up a mail with an attachment and change its extension and send it to target system using file adapter.
I'm able to pick up the mail with attachment using sender mail adapter but not able to get the name of the attachment so that I can use it in mapping or on the adapter configuration. How do I read the name of the attachment and manupulate it?
I looked at the thread sender mail adapter - attachment name But the solution is not described. I think Stefan is talking about the SP!2 for PI 7.0. I'm on XI 3.0 what is the equivalent SP for that, SP20? Stefan, can you please throw me more light on it?

It is not possible to change the name of the server, but you can add a label to it (see attached screenshot). And yes, it can be done during production hours, this doesn't affect the production data.

Dynamic file name of the attachment in receiver mail adapter

I have configured a receiver mail adapter which receives the payload as an xml attachment.
Right now the file name of the attachment is hardcoded to "invoice.xml".
I want to set it to dynamic ie. instead of "invoice.xml"... i want it as "invoice<invoicenumber>.xml".
Invoice number is present in the payload.
please suggest a solution w/o the need to develop a custom adapter module.

Auto saving email attachments using date email received as the name of the attachment file

I would like to be able to batch save hundreds of email attachments in my inbox to a specified folder and use the date and time email was received as the name of the file. i found sample script that would give it timestamp but would prefer date and time of receipt. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Name of the Attachment without getting the entire message

Does anybody here knows how can i list all the messages with attachments and the name of the files attached without invoking getBodyPart()? I want to use POP3 as my mail getting protocol.

Mail to File - how to read the attachment file name from the subject.

I need to use the SHeaderSUBJECT's value in the receiver file adapter's variable substitution.
This is a Mail to File scenario without design part where the attachment file name comes in the subject of the mail.
I see the below in the dynamicconfiguration section. How can i retrive the value from dynamicconfiguration section to the filename.

RQ: Receive files in folder with name of the sende...

I don't know is I'm on the right place and I don't know is there same request, so I apologize if it exist...
Please, make option the received files to be saved in folder with the name of the sender. For example: my friend with skype name XYZ send me a file 'foo.bar' that will be saved in \My Documents\Skype_save (I changed the default dir); another friend with name XXY send me file 'foo1.bar' and again it will be in \My Documents\Skype_save, but when there are many files it is difficult to sort them and know whose files sended by who... So the good choise is if the files are saved in folder with name XYZ, XXY etc... Example:
\Skype_save\XYZ\foo.bar
\Skype_save\XXY\foo1.bar
I'm sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language. I hope you can understand what I mean with this folders

There is no automatic option in Skype that can do what you are trying to accomplish. However, you can in advance create save folders named as your contacts and and each time you receive a file, to save the file in the appropriate folder.
For this to function, you have to set the option in Tools -> Options -> IM settings -> Show advanced options to “Choose a folder where to save the file every time”.

Importation as referenced in Folder with name of the project impossible?

I am currently importing my photos as referenced in Aperture and want to automatically create the folder with the same name as my project, but it always create a folder named "test". I can't find where is my mistake? I think I already have already succeeded in doing that in the past.

As answer to Frank: I imported from a SD card in a card reader and from the HDD
To: HDD or a NAS.
but all possibilities had same result.

i'm using cl_document_bcs->add_attachment to add the PDF file into the email. here, the file name is imported from i_attachment_subject which has a maximum length of 50.
now my requirement is that increase the file name up to 128 characters. kindly give me some clues, please.

We have an old D3 SYSTEM to store the pictures, Now We want to migrate the pictures into R3 systm ,Pls tell me how to do it ,Thanks !

The only way in R/3 to migrate pictures is using Document management system which will be linked to objects like material, equipment, functional location, BOM, etc....
Transactions used for this is CV01n(Create), CV02n(Change) .
It gives you lot of features once you start playing with these transaction. You can also classify documents.
