MM03 - Adding extra Field in Existing Screen

Requirement is :
MM03---Select view --Basic Data -- Additional Data (On Application tool bar) ---
Additional Ean tab.  In Additional EAN tab there are  6 fields already available , i need to add one more field..
a) I checked for user exits , Badi's and enhancement spots but nothing satisfies the requirement..   Please help me out .. if this can be done in what ways..

    Identify the screen in which this new field is added and simply add one more line to add the bdc record for this field in that screen.
    If the screen is also entirely new, then you have to identify the previous screen, the okcode to go to this new screen and finally the next screen and the okcode to go to the next screen along with the field BDC record.
    I don't think it is necessary to redo all the recording as long as you can follow the existing code.

  • Form Validation using Javascript error when adding extra fields

    Hi,
    I have a form (with a few fields which require validation) which works just fine.  I have added extra fields to the form and require them to validate too.  My problem is that they are not showing via the behaviours/validation box and I can't figure out how to sort it!  They are contained within the form element.  I have tried to delate the original validation and start again but to no avail.
    Please can someone help me?

    I need to add a new field TCODE2 from MKPF table on the screen output of MB51. I have added my new field thro SPRO following the below steps:-
    Go to SPRO -- MM -- Inventory Management and Physical Inventory -- Reporting -- Define Field Selection for Material Document List
    Here I have give
    RM07DOCS MKPF TCODE2 Transaction code -- output box checked
    and saved.
    Now I  tried to re-execute the transaction MB51 but not able to see the Tcode2 on the output screen .
    Can any one help me out, if I am missing out something or is there any thing else i need to check on the ALV output to see the field TCODE2 on the screen og MB51?

    Create the structure CI_RKPOS and include the field you want to display in this structure .....
    use the userexit COOMEP01 CO-OM: Information system -> line item reports
    EXIT_SAPLKAEP_001 in this function module ......write the logic to fill that field value....
    and pass the value to  CS_RECORD structure ....
    your added field will be visible in the structure  CS_RECORD....

  • Adding Z-Fields to Standard Screens of Transaction VA01 / VA02 / VA03

    Hi All,
    The system is being upgraded from 4.7 to ECC 6.0
    In 4.7 server, the client has added 2 Z-fields to VBAK table. Moreover, these Z-fields are added to Standard SAP Screens of Transactions VA01 / VA02 / VA03.
    One of the Z-field is for the Description which appears on the very first screen of transaction (Screen 4440) replaces the Standard SAP Screen Field VBAK-KTEXT.
    The other Z-Field appears on Header-->Additional Data B (Screen 8309).
    Please note:- The screen numbers that are mentioned above are the screen numbers of ECC 6.0
    I tried to change the edit the Screen by taking the Access Key from the market place, but only got Screen Overlapping Errors.
    What should I do to incorporate these Z-fields?
    I have heard of Screen-exits but never worked on the same. Would appreciate if someone guides me as to what needs to be done.

    We had the same requirement but for Additional Data B in header and item
    For this
    (1) Got the access key
    (2) applied access keys
    (3) In the additonal Data B screens/Program SAPMV45A imported Z fields to the screen in Graphical painter,saved and activated after writing necessary PBO/PAI modules and the codes in 8309 and 8310 screens
    Please can you tell more on the "Screen Overlapping Errors"
    Maybe we can can work out the error.....

    My code is working now for these 3 new additional fields. The thing is it works if these fields were selected solo. but if all of these 3 or 2 of it simultaneously, an error occurs.
    Error when generating the report (see long text)
    Message no. AQ_AD_HOC221
    Diagnosis
    The report cannot be generated because the internal description is invalid or incomplete, or because the selection screen is too large.
    Regenerate the assigned InfoSet, and read the log. If the InfoSet is OK, make sure that at least one field is given as output.
    If you used the 'Refresh' icon to start the query, use the 'Output' menu option to execute the query. This gives you a full screen display of the data.
    If an output was generated, the query cannot work with actual data in the construction view. In this case, always use the 'Output' function to execute the query.
    Procedure
    If the selection screen is too large, you need to reduce the number of your selections.
    Make sure that the assigned InfoSet is correct. The name of the assigned InfoSet is stored in the menu option 'Extras -> Template Information'.
    Output at least one field. Otherwise you will not be able to save or generate reports.
    If you do not have this problem, execute the query using the 'Output' function.
    Otherwise, there is an error in the InfoSet Query.

    for this we tried to copy the search help exit "F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_VENDOR_EXP",
    but we are unable to activate the copied function module since it's throwing a error that
    a statement in one of the includes that was created by the system is inactive.

    --> In 0Customer infoobject, make Sales District as Navigational attribute and also activate as navigational in CUBE: 0SD_C03. Then it will be available for reporting for navigation, filtering.

    It has to display the data through data element but it is not doing so .
    Actually, i had created a query which shows the data about the changes made in the Material.I am able to display all the data but not the text that shows the description of what has been made .

    Hi,
    Currently i am doing the following:-
    I had created a Logical Data Base where i had made the logic for the Changes Made To Material. I am fetching the data from the following tables:-
    MARA,MAKT,CDHDR AND CDPOS.
    As i am checking the LDB it is working fine as i had verified the data and i follow the whole procdeure to make Query and then generated it,it is working fine. But when i try to add the extra field (which shows the description what change has been made,it give errors for it).
    Please provide me guidelines to solve this problem.

    You can enhance the standard program RQEEAL10 using implicit enhancement points.
    Click the spiral (Enhance) button (Shift + F4)
    Go to Edit -> Enhancement operations -> Show Implicit Enhancement Poitns
    Create an Enhancement Implementation and include your code there.

    Here I hv a table control, with 5 fields, 1,2,3,4,5.
    So, I need to add extra 3 fileds to the above said existing table control i.e.
    6th field in between the 3 & 4,
    7th field in between the 4 & 5,
    8th field in the last i.e. after 5th,
    I tried with Table Control Wizard, but not succeeded. So, pls, mention the steps to b followed to achieve this?

    Give the program and screen number..
    In the menu..choose..utilities -> settings..
    Uncheck the graphical painter check box..press enter..
    Choose the layout radion button..
    Press change..
    Double click on the table control..
    THen press the CTRL Elements button..
    In the popup...insert (+ button) to place the input field

    Hi all,
    We have a cube with data, now we added 2 new fields to the datasource. And want to add two more fields in the Cube to correspond to the new fields. What would be the impact on the data that is already there in the cube? Can I go ahead and add the fields in the cube and start extracting data? What I want to know is what would be the implications in such a scenario?
    Any insight or help would be appreciated and fully rewarded.

    Hi,
    At least from the experience I had there were no performance issues. The only issue would be in terms of the time taken to transport. The larger the amount of data ,longer the transport time.
    You can continue extraction of data for those 2 fields from that point on. No need to empty the data from the cube and reload again. Only thing is that the data in the past for these 2 fields may not be mapped to the existing data in the cube. If you want to do that dump the cube and reload. Otherwise the data will be mapped from the time you start extracting the new fields with the data in the cube.

    Can you please tell me how I can creat a custom field for CTNUM and show it like the standard one?
    I'm not a progremmer, so I must manage this via standard basis.
    I've tryed to add some custom fields for IT 0016 in PM01 but something is missing.
    After I add to the IT 0016 a custom field, I get the message:
    "Changing PS Struct. without generating code can lead to inconsistencies

    Diagnosis
    If the PS structure is changed by adding, deleting, or changing fields, then
    this change must also be reflected in the associated screen structure. As the PS
    structure is not included here, but rather is copied, the screen structure must
    be edited accordingly.
    Procedure
    If you have not yet made any changes to the screen structure, simply choose
    "Generate Code". The screen structure is then deleted and created again as a
    copy of the new PS structure. The other objects of the infotype remain
    unchanged.
    If the screen structure no longer corresponds to the (relevant part of the)
    PS structure, perhaps because you have included new fields, you must modify the
    screen structure manually on the "Screen Structure" tab page using "Edit".
    If I go to "Generate Object" I reach to "BADi Builder" screen:
    Tranzaction : SE19
    Program : SAPLSEXO
    Enhancement Spot : HRPAD00INFTYBL
    And from here I don't know what to do.
