MM06E001 User exits for EDI inbound and outbound purchasing documents
Hi
I am using enhancement MM06E001 to transfer PO data
via idoc type ORDERS05.
I am creating PO via transaction ME21N.When ever i save the PO the data should go via this IDOC type
When we create PO the Standard long text data maintained at header level is tranferred via Segment E1EDKT1 and E1EDKT2.
The issue is that at header level i have created new PO header text.
This new PO header text data is not identified in this enhancement
thats why i am not able to send this data via
idoc using enhancement MM06E001.
Kindly help me on how to pass the text data using Idoc
via enhancement MM06E001.
Thanks & Regards,
Chetan
Hello,
I believe you are writing the Code in the Exit EXIT_SAPLEINM_002 in which you are manually populating the Header Text while it is not required for the Standard Segments like E1EDKT1 & E1EDKT2. If there is any Text maintained in the PO, it will be automatically populated in the Header Segment E1EDKT1 & E1EDKT2.
Put a Break Point in this Customer Function and check if the Data is already being filled into these Segments in the Table INT_EDIDD.
Thanks and Regards,

NEED VL02N VL09 USER-EXIT FOR DELIVERY COMPLETE INDICATOR IN PURCHASE ORDER
I NEED VL02N VL09 USER-EXITS FOR DELIVERY COMPLETE INDICATOR IN PURCHASE ORDER POSITIONS.
F.X: IF POST QUANTITY 10, BUT PURCHASE ORDER POSITION QUANTITY 30, I NEED AT ANY CASE TO SET DELIVERY COMPLETE INDICATOR FOR RELEVANT OUTBOUND DELIVERY AN P. ORDER POSITIONS.
THANKS/Hi Malka,
It's possible set the system to mark automatically the delivery completed indicator.
First you need to set the under delivery and over delivery tolerances. You do this in customizing:
Materials Management under Purchasing -> Material Master -> Define Purchasing Value Keys.
Once you set this, you can insert this value keys on Material Master Record for the materials.
When you create the PO with a material with this value keys set the system will check the under delivery and over delivery set on customizing.
In customizing you also have the option to let the system mark automatically the delivery indicator based on delivery tolerances set.
In Customizing for Inventory Management and Physical Inventory under Goods Receipt -> Set Delivery Completed Indicator, you can determine for each plant whether the system automatically sets the delivery completed indicator for delivery quantities within the underdelivery and overdelivery tolerances.
You can test setting the under delivery for 0 (with a warning message) and see if the system will only mark delivery complete only for over delivery.
You can also work with the following Badi: MB_GOODSMOVEMENT_DCI. This Badi also allows custom logic for setting the delivery completed indicator in a PO item.
Message: M7 433 (The "delivery completed" indicator is set for the purchase order item)

Edited by: Channu on Sep 23, 2011 1:37 AMHi Ralf,
Yes, if you put a deny http, it would drop all packets for destination as http port, but be mindful that when you apply an access-list on your inside interface, it automatically activates the deny ip any any right at the bottom, you would be able to see that in the ASDM. So for the users that need be allowed access to the http, needs to be explicitly allowed http access, so your correct configuration would be:
access-list inside_access_in deny tcp host 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.255 any eq http
access-list inside_access_in permit tcp any any
access-group inside_access_in interface inside
This would block 192.168.1.1 to go to internet, but allow all others.
Second question, i haven't chceked the ASDM, but just remember out of memory, that this service option should be the protocol, whether ip,tcp, udp, esp or gre etc.
Moreover always try to block connections as closed to the source as possible, this would mean, if you want to filter traffic going from inside to outside, that should be done on the inside interface not outside.
Thanks,

Creating and Setting up web services for both inbound and outbound comms
Hi
I would like to know the process of setting up inbound and outbound web services using Siebel - is there a tech note /bookshelf article that can guide me through to setting up a 'new/custom' web service.
I have read up on bookshelf that both business services and workflows can be setup/exposed as web services. Now i would like to find out how to do this.
Any help appreciated.
Regards,
TSAs you begin to experiment with web services you should take a look at SoapUI. It is a freeware program that makes it a breeze to test both inbound an outbound web service calls. The bonus is that it can also be used to trace what HTTP is going back and forth along with giving you the ability to chain calls together. That is particularly useful for example if you are learning how to do web service calls within the context of a session. http://www.soapui.com/

How to do IDOC debugging for both inbound and outbound
Hi
can somebody please help me on how to debug the idoc both inbound and outbound in SAP PI.
Regards
BlueHi,
Yes, i have checked but did not get any satisfactory answer.
here is the solution:
Inbound:
We19, Give the idoc #,
click on the inbound functional module and select the radio button in the fore ground
check the check box call in debug mode, this will enter in the functional module debugging.
Outbound:
Check BD73, give the idoc # and execute
or
RSNASTED program and set the breakpoint there
is this correct, i have not tested/ checked yet.

Help Needed: User exit for transaction IL01 and IL02
Hi,
First of all I would like to take you through my requirement. The
requirement is: When I try to instal an equipment(EQ) at a functional
location(FL) in SAP, I want to pass on the values of these two
technical objects(EQ,FL) to an external system through SAP XI.
I identified two user-exits for this purpose,
they are ILOM0001 and ILOM0002. I found the first exit (ILOM0001) more
relevant than the other as the exit ILOM0001 is responsible
for 'Additional checks before saving a functional location'. The
function exit for the exit ILOM0001 IS EXIT_SAPMILO0_001.
When I load the transaction IL02 and try to instal an equipment at a
functional location in debug mode nowhere did I notice this function exit.
Please clarify whether this exit is called with a different name
internally or I am looking at a different exit altogether.
Your early response is highly appreciated.
Thanks,

User exit for Credit Management check on SD document
Is it possible to enhance and put in some custom logic during CREDIT check on SD documents?
Can some one tell me which User exit can I used?Hi,
Yes, I think you can do. Here is what SAP help says....
If you want to carry out your own individual credit checks, that differ from those in the standard system, you must define them in the following user exits:
LVKMPTZZ
LVKMPFZ1: USER_CREDIT_CHECK1
LVKMPFZ2: USER_CREDIT_CHECK2
LVKMPFZ3: USER_CREDIT_CHECK3
User exit for availability check
User exit USEREXIT_AVAIL_CHECK_CREDIT exists in Include MV45AFZF.
This user exit allows you to determine whether the system should or should not carry out an availability check after a blocked document has been released or after a new credit check.
Hope this helps
Thanks

Hi friends,
I have a doubt here.
I need to do an enhancement.I need to put Billing Block on Sales Orders coming through EDI to SAP.I am using EXIT_SAPLVEDC_003.
Is it the correct EXIT for Inbound EDI Orders ?
Will this EXIT trigger for Inbound EDI Orders.
Pls Help.
Regards,
Imran.Hi Imrani,
EXIT_SAPLVEDC_003 this exit for outbound not for inbound.
For inbound EDI Orders use this exit
EXIT_SAPLVEDA_009
or EXIT_SAPLVEDA_001 -

User-Exit for Checking Customer and Sale order type in Sales Order Creation
Hi Experts,
While creating the Sales Order once i enter sold-to-party and enter line item, i have to check the customer against the sales order type.
Please suggest me if any user-exit or enhancement or BADI available for it.
Thanks & Regards,
-VMHi
Follow the below steps to find out what all BADI's are called when you press any button in any transaction.
1) Goto se24 (Display class cl_exithandler)
2) Double click on the method GET_INSTANCE.
3) Put a break point at Line no.25 (CASE sy-subrc).
Now
4) Execute SAP standard transaction
5) Press the required button for which you need to write an exit logic, the execution will stop at the break point.
6) Check the values of variable 'exit_name', it will give you the BADI name called at that time.
7) This way you will find all the BADIs called on click of any button in any transaction.

USER EXIT FOR IDOC CREATION AND TRIGGER
I needed a user exit in which I could call my function module .The requirement is that whenever a sales order is created or changed ,on saving of the sales order I need to trigger an IDOC .Inside my function module I plan to use the MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE
Can anyone tell me if the above logic can work and please tell me the name of the user exit which I can use?Hi
Instead of User exit, you can think of using SAP Standard Output type functionality.
Ask your functional consultant to create a Output type with Medium 6 and do the necessary outbound configuration in the Partner profile WE20 transaciton.
