  • Difference between MMBE and MM51

    Good morning.
We discovered there is a difference in stock between MMBE and MB51, but were able to localize it to the offending movement type (they are plant transfers, movement type 303 and 305).
Are plant transfers the reason for the discrepancy? Or should we even compare the quantities of MMBE and MB51?
    Regards
    Moggie

Hi SAP FC. Thanks for your very prompt reply.
My understanding (and perhaps it is an incorrect one, I am a BASIS administrator and am only looking into the issue because a user reported this to me) is that the totalling of all material documents in MB51 should equal the stock currently shown in MMBE. However, as I stated, I found the transfer to plant movements shown in MB51 are not included in MMBE's count when I investigated the user's request. Subsequent comparisons using different plants and materials produced the same results. The transfer to plant movement types apparently are not totaled.
Before posting here, I was going to tell the user to
    a) either filter out the transfer to movement types when using MB51
    b) do not use MB51 for determining the stock total of a material in a plant (use MM03 or MMBE instead)
However, I wanted to be sure by posting in this forum and getting clarification

  • FM or table to get the batches and stock of material as in MMBE or MB51

    Hi Gurus,
Please help me with function module or table to get the current batches
and unrestricted stock for the respective material and plant. And the reference transaction with is MMBE or MB51.
I want the same data as in MMBE or MB51 transaction.
Please reply me as soon as possible.
    Regards,
    Sagar

    Hi,
I dont think there is any BAPI for this (on 46C).
Instead, you can check following tables:
EINA, EINE,  A017(Plant)/A018, KONH, KONP, KONM, KONW for Purchasing Info Records / conditions associated with it.
    Hope this helps.

  • MC.A and MB51 reports

    Hello all,
We have comparision between the reports MC.A and MB51 with the same selection criteria.
Can any one please confirm, whether the receipt value calculated in the report MC.A will be equal to the multiplication of the Price available in the material master and quantity received in those dates.
As we have ran both the reports with the same selection, we have obtained material documents in MB51 for which we have sepeartely calculated Receipts and Issues. Now this values does not seem to be equal to the Value receipt / Issue in the report MC.A. Hence we request to let us know the reasons for the different behaviour of the reports.
    thanks & regards
    Chaitanya

    Hi,
Can you please explain the behaviour of the report MC.A using an example. I would like to know how the field "Valuereceipts" is getting calculated.

    Stock Overview: Company Code/Plant/Storage Location/Batch
    Description
The stock overview provides you with an overview of the stocks of a
material at all organizational levels. This distinguishes it from the
Plant Stock and Storage Location Stock views in the material master
which provide an overview of the stocks only at a particular plant or
        storage location.
You can access the stock overview from the Material Master screen by
choosing Other -> Stock overview. On the screen that appears, you enter
the relevant material. You can also enter selection criteria to restrict
        the overview.
Under List display, you are required to specify a display version. Under

The basic list appears when you choose Execute, and provides an overview
of the stocks at all existing organizational levels according to your
selection criteria. You can navigate from one window to the next in the
stock overview by choosing Right columns or Left columns accordingly.
    Breakdown List
If you want to display only the stocks at a particular organizational
level, position the cursor on the appropriate line in the basic list and
choose Breakdown next level. The breakdown list appears. It provides an
overview of the stocks at the organizational level selected and at the
next level down according to your database selection criteria.
    Details
In either of these lists, you can display the following details by
positioning the cursor on an organizational level or stock type and
      choosing Choose:
o   Stock at a particular organizational level
          Example

can do this in either the basic list or breakdown list by
positioning the cursor on the Vendor consignment line and choosing
Choose. A dialog box appears in which the individual consignment
stocks of the material are listed by vendor.
    Displaying the Batch Classification
On the stock lines from batch level downwards, you can display the

  • MB5L shows value but MMBE and other transactions showing 0 value

    Hi Gurus,
The issue i am having here is, i am having a Material XXXXX for the Plant YYYY. When i checked the stock for the material in MB5L, it is showing some KGs. But when i am checking the MMBE transaction, it shows 0 Value. Also when i checked the MBEW table it is showing the value, similarly on MSEG and MARC tables it shows 0 value. Now my concern here is
    1) What could be the reason for this?
    2) How we can make it sync the both the Tables?
    3) What happened to the history for this in MB51 and other transactions for this material?
    4) How should we approach this issue?
Please advise and share your knowledge gurus. Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hi all,
When I am running following reports they are giving different values for same material.
Can anyone explain me what is the purpose of these reports each?
    1. MC.6
    2. MC.A
    3. MB51
    Thanking you.

    Hi
    MC.A Plant level Receipt/Issue Analysis :
This includes stock at different levels & special stock like stock issued to vendor , consigment stock etc which is valuated at plant level.
Path : Information Systems - General Report Selection - Materials Management - Inventory Management u2013 Inventory Information Systems - Material
MC.6 Storage location wise Receipt/Issue Analysis : MC.6 will not consider any type of special stocks so there will be variance between both the reports.
MB51 : Mb51 shows all types of material documents for different goods movements.
It depends upon movement types and transaction you did.
If you did migo with 101 movement type then on display this document only.
For different transaction the screen may be different

  • Archived delivery's stock seen in MMBE and not in LS24

    Hi All,
In MMBE stock for an archived delivery is seen, it is not seen in LS24. In fact the document flow in Sales order shows the process was done till Delivery and it was archived then.
Can anyone help me in this, how can I get rid of from this stock in MMBE. Though LS24 is apparently right.
    Waiting for your replies...
    Thanks,

  • Qty difference between "mmbe" and "/afs/md04" transaction?

    Dear Gurus,
When I am checking MMBE txn for a material, it is showing me 201 qty in Unrestricted stock(batch)..
but when I am checking in "/afs/md04" txn, it is showing me 55 qty for Unrestricted stock(batch)..
    why is this discrepancy?
    pls help..

I assume you are only checking for the "A" tab and comparing only the batch stock ( Stock type - C) , /AFS/MD04 is a stock and requirement list and MMBE is a stock report , if you have compared only the batch stock , might be you can run the report /AFS/SDRQ to check for inconsistency , Hope this helps...

    Hi,
the most easiest and straight forward approach is
    - Ckick the "Binding" tab at the bottom of the Visual Editor
    - In the Bindings section click teh green plus icon and choose Generic Bindings | Attribute Value
    - point the iterator selection to the iterator used by the table
    - choose the column's attribute name from the list of attributes
    - Create a method on the ApplicatioNModule IMPL class (should take single argument)
    - expose it as a client interfaces so it shows in the Data Controls panel
    - In the "Binding" tab, create a method binding for this exposed method
    - point the method binding argument to #{bindings.column-attribute-name.inptValue}
So whenever you need to pass the value on to the AM, you just call the method binding
    OperationBinding oper = (OperationBinding) bindings.get("name of method");
    oper.execute();
