More than one entry in /etc/defaultrouter

To my surprise, it's possible to put more than one entry in /etc/defaultrouter. It's even documented in the man page and if you do it you end up with what looks like more than one default route. But what's does it mean to have more than one default route? Does the kernel apply some kind of heuristic to decide which one to use? Does the default route with no device get ignored?

What do you mean by "no device"? You have to have an IP destination or the route couldn't be configured. But that IP destination doesn't have to be currently available. Unplugging a cable doesn't take an IP interface "DOWN", nor does it modify the routing table.
If you need dynamic, failure-resilient routing, then you'd have to run a routing update protocol. The contents of /etc/defaultrouter are for static routes.

My problem now is that on the form there is only printed one of the entrys.

In Sapscript PERFORM-ENDPERFORM statements, the parameters can contain only one value as they are variables of type character & length 80.
If you want multiple values in your CHANGING parameters, fetch all of them in different variables. Also, in your program store them in the same order, in the output internal table of structure ITCSY.

I have created the following code which extended my filter functionality and allowed a to take more than one entry (Comma have to be inserted after

Disable more than one entry for a particular condition type in VF02 / VF01

HI,
I am using vf02 transaction.In the header under pricing I am using a Z condition type to enter conditions ZTO1.
The problem is manual entry is allowed in header so the user is able to create more than one row for condition type ZTO1 which is wrong.
I need to restrict this.Only one row should be allowed for condition type ZTO1.
Please let me know if there is any configuration for this or then Ill need to use a screen exit or any other exit for VF02 / VF01.

Hi,
You can make use of pricing Requirement routine for checking the manual entry and display error if wrong.
These requirement routines can be maintained\created in VOFM->Requirements->Pricing.. For refrence check the coding in some of the already maintined routines..

Add more than one entry into a database from single form

I have a page that has 1 form that allows you to add 1 job.
I want to be able to have a button or something that says add
job and add another job.
When creating the database I did not create a table to hold
the order just add the job.
I am attempting to create a new version of the site with
order referencing job_id and customer_id so that a job can belong
to an order. And I can an order that has many jobs.
What is the best way I can do this and then I will need it to
be displayed on the invoice.
I also need to beable to create an invoice for the particular
job.
but that does not need to be done here.

I have posted previously, but the requirement from my friend
has changed somewhat.
I have a add job page (add.php) and I need to add a
button/link to add more fields of the same to add a job to the
chosen customer.

Grouping on fields that have more than one value entered. Please need help fast!!!

I am creating a report that is to be grouped on a particular field that can have more than one entry. My user said they did not care how I did it but to only count the record one time. The field that is selected is a dropdown on an form that is in Alpha order. So the entries always appear in the the field in alpha order. This is for use as an example: Record 1 has a value of CAT in the field, Record 2 has a value of CAT, DOG in the field and Record 3 has a value of CAT, DOG, HORSE in the field. I get 3 separate groupings for the 3 records.
Group = CAT
      Then the detail information appears here
Group = CAT, DOG
      Then the detail information appears here
Group = CAT,DOG,HORSE
      Then the detail information appears here
What is would like to see using this example is one group for CAT with all 3 records appearing under it and ignore the other two. This way there would all be getting counted but the report would look a little more streamlined.
Group = CAT
      record 1 detail information
      record 2 detail information
      record 3 detail information

I am trying resolve the same/similar issue in Crystal Reports 10. For example, on a table there is a column called X with values Xsub1, Xsub2, Xsub3, etc. The user can select a parameter that includes Xsub2 and Xsub4. If this is selected 2 reports are generated (one for Xsub2 and Xsub4). What we really want is one report with the combined information for Xsub2 and Xsub4. How is (or is it) possible to do this in Crystal Reports 10? FYI - When the report was initially created the main body of the report was placed in the Group Footer so if the Group Footer is suppressed the content of the report is suppressed, too.

Check out my [post|Re: Free goods process requirement] wherein I had the same problem once upon a time.
We tried all possible things, however concluded that through std SAP functionality the same is not possible.
FYI: Free Goods doesnt support BOM, Sub items, Product selection. etc.

Analog Source Triggering with more than one channel in channel list

Hello,
I am trying to use an analog reference trigger with a channel list that contains more than one entry using a
M Series 6289. I am aware that this is generally not possible to have more than one channel in the list due to hardware limitations. I was hoping if some sort of workaround exists.
I am using the NIDAQmx C API to control the card.
Using a second card that is syncronized via RTSI should
allow me to use an analog reference trigger to control multiple analog IO channels ... Right ???

Hello Peter,
If you look at the NI-DAQmx Help, Analog Triggering Considerations for E Series, M Series, and S Series Devices section, it says that to pause multiple channels with an Analog trigger, you must wire that signal to APFI0 or APFI1. Therefore, it is possible to perform this operation.
If you are sharing the AI Sample Clock across RTSI, then you would be able to stop multiple AI channels across multiple devices with the one Analog Reference Trigger.

Publishing to more than one account

Pardon me if you see I've already asked this. I'm not used to the new communities format, and so didn't find my earlier post.
Anyway, I'd like to know if it's possible to publish the same photos to more than one account, e.g, Flickr, Facebook, and MobileMe. I know I can publish to one of them, but once I've done it, the icons for the other two are grayed out. I maintain each for different reasons and don't want to have to restrict myself to just one of them for the same set of images.

You can do this... you can even publish to more than one account of the same type (e.g. more than one Facebook account, or more than one MobileMe account, etc.)
When you select some photos and publish to web sharing site, Aperture creates an album (unless you're publishing to an existing album) and then switches you to that album. Look at the selected album in the "Library" view (left margin) and you'll notice it is now highlighting the new album at the social site... not the original Aperture project where the images originated.
For example... if I create an Aperture project called "Birds", have some photos in it, and then publish the album to, say, Facebook, it'll create a Facebook album called "Birds" and it will put me in that Facebook album (and gray out all the icons at the top.) If I would like to publish that same album of Birds to, say, Flickr, then I'd need to select the Aperture project named "Birds" and verify that the same photos are still selected. I can then click the "Flickr" icon to publish to Flickr.
The icons along the top which allow publishing to MobileMe, Facebook, and Flickr will only be highlighted if you are currently in an Aperture project/album.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

So only one imac, only one ipad..and so on simultain.
More over, all the divices are conect through wifi to air base but are not receiveing internet as i told above.
I need to disconnect one device to have internet on the second one from the same type!
Could somebody help me?

If your network configuration is:
Cable modem > (Ethernet cable) > [WAN] AEBS > (wireless) > Macs, then
AirPort Extreme Base Station Setup (AEBS) w/High-Speed Cable Modem
Modem/Router Power ReCycling
- Power-off the Cable modem, AEBS, & computer(s). (If possible, leave the modem off overnight.)
- Power-on the Cable modem; Wait at least 30 minutes.
- Power-on the AEBS; Wait at least 5 minutes.
- Power-on the computer(s)
Perform a "hard" reset of the AEBS.

Setup the AEBS
With the network components powered down, set up the AEBS, using the AirPort Admin Utility, connect your computer directly (using an Ethernet cable) to the LAN port of the AEBS, and then, try these settings:
AirPort tab
- Base Station Name: <whatever you wish or use the default>
- AirPort Network Name: <whatever you wish or use the default>
- Create a closed network (unchecked)
- Wireless Security: Not enabled
- Channel: Automatic
- Mode: 802.11b/g Compatible
Internet tab
- Connect Using: Ethernet
- Configure: Using DHCP
- WAN Ethernet Port: Automatic
Network tab
- Distribute IP addresses (checked)
- Share a single IP address (using DHCP & NAT) (enabled)
Once you verified that you can get Internet access for all of your computers, you should secure your wireless network. To do so, I suggest that you make these changes:
AirPort tab (optional)
- Create a closed network (checked)
Change Wireless Security
- Wireless Security: WPA Personal
Base Station Options - WAN Ethernet Port
- Enable SNMP Access (unchecked)
- Enable Remote Configuration (unchecked)
- Enable Remote Printer Access (unchecked)
Wireless Options
- Transmitter Power: 10%
Access Control tab (optional)
- + <add the computer(s) that will access this wireless network>

If using one computer for several iPods/iPads etc can you have more than one iTunes account. iPods/Pads etc have a variety of user names

We have three of us with a selection of iPads/iPods all downloading through one desktop computer. Can we set up more than one library on the desktop so each person only sees there only downloads/music etc.

Firefox 7 is a dud. Cannot open more than one tab at a time, will not open additional pages. Nothing you suggested has worked.
Can I take down Firefox 7 and reload Firefox 4?
