Motion crashes when attempting to start a project
I've got a mac pro in which motion crashes every time the user tries to open a project, be it a new blank one or an old project.
The mac itself is a single CPU quad 2.8 with 6 gig ddr3 and an ati 5770
I've already tried uninstalling and re-installing it, uninstalling re-installing and then running disk utility all to no avail, i still get the same error message:

Elements 13 crashing when attempting to start
Bought elements and downloaded. When I attempt to click either the organizer or photo editor option from the they both instantly crash. I have not been able to open the program at all. I have uninstalled with Ccleaner and reinstalled and I'm still getting this error message. I have zero problems with any other program. It is installed on my new SSD. Fact, this is the first crash i have seen on this computer of anything. My specs are far above what I need but here is my comp just in case.
Windows 7 custom built PC, AMD fx 8320 3.5ghz, MSI gtx 970, 8gb kingston hyper x ram, Asrock 970 extreme 4 MOBO, Corsair 600 PSU, Intel 730 256gb ssd

JoshAfter 7 days of begging and pleading with your company for someone to support the product I called back the retailer that I purchased the key from and asked them what to do. They told me that they would work through the technical issue with me if they could and if not refund me the purchase price because they STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. Funny concept, huh? When the rep was helping me he looked through your forums and was STUNNED at how many people needed help with issues and your staff and employees were nowhere to be found. We had a good chuckle over the ineptitude and heartless attitude it would take to screw that many people at once. They tried to help me, even though it was in NO WAY their responsibility to do so. We could not resolve the issue so they are issuing me a refund for your companies refusal to stand behind it's product, and leaving it's customers out in the cold with ZERO support. This was without question the worst experience I have ever had with any company, period. And I am forced to get my internet from Time Warner if that gives you any perspective. The lack of support Adobe offers people is borderline criminal. For those of you that the products work immediately they could could probably care less. But for the THOUSANDS on the forums currently that Adobe is leaving out in the cold and letting it's "community" deal with Adobe's problems, I wish you the best of luck. 5 different threads, 7 days of my life, multiple attempts to contact via phone and online chat only to be told "my question doesn't qualify for support". I have a degree in web development and I build custom Pc's on the side for fun, so I would hate to see how someone who isn't "tech savvy" would deal with this company. God forbid. That was my experience, I truly hope that the thousands out there right now having issues with this software don''t have to go though what I did. To the few generous members of Adobe's community I would like to graciously thank you again for attempting to help me. To Adobe, I truly wanted to use your product. I REALLY did. Yours indicates thread 25 crashed and it's all about Helium so you can try searching the Motion forum for HELIUM and you can even use Google to search for some of those text strings. There are some people out there who try to decode Apple's useless and insanely unfriendly crash reporting syntax.
How many graphics cards do you have in your machine?
Do you perhaps have any CMYK graphics in the project?

Acrobat 9.4.4 Pro Crashes When Attempting to Open PDF Form
OS: Win XP Pro SP3
The machine worked fine until Acrobat updated itself to 9.4.4 then the problem started. Crashes when attempting to open most PDF Forms - even when freshly rebooted or repaired. I originally thought it was related to a browser or Outlook 2007, but later found that it does it under all circumstances. It is my General Manager's machine having the problem, so I need to get this resolved ASAP. Your experience and assistance is much appreciated.
My temporary fix was to uninstall 9.4.4 - Install 9.0 and turn off automatic updates - worked beautifully. It would be nice to get to the bottom of this so we can update our CS4 products.
Another user reported this problem on May 16, 2011 and no one has replied to his post.

Crashing when trying to open a project / forgetting where media files are
I spent all day manually locating hundreds of missing 'offline media' in a project, saving as I went. Premier Elements crashed when this was complete, now I try to open the project after rebooting and it either cannot find them again or crashes when trying to open the project. Anyone got any clues as to how I can fix this?

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
How long has this issue existed?
Are you moving, deleting, renaming files and folders that go into a project after the project has been saved closed?
If you have source media stored on an external hard drive, determine if the external hard drive is malfunctioning, including if its drive letter
changing.
Lots of drill questions...
a. Running the program from a User Account with Administrative Privileges?
b. Latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer?
c. What are your computer resources and is your computer optimized?
d. What are the properties of your source media that are involved in this issue?
e. Where are the Scratch Disks directed and how much free hard drive space is at those locations?
f. Do the problems exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
Let us start here and then we can decide what next.

Lightroom 6 crashes when attempting to import from camera.
Never had a problem importing from same camera using LR 5.7. LR 6 crashes when attempting to import from camera.
Actually I have found out that it's not related to importing, but to face recognition being turned on (which I had just done shortly before I started the import).

i was working on a project in iMovie (10.0.1) and iMovie just crashed. when i reopened it the project i was working on disappeared. in my list of projects it still says i have 3 projects but its only showing me 2. is there any way i can recover my project?? PLEASE HELP!!!
iMovie on your Mac has nothing to do with iCloud storage. Download and use Find Any File to search for your iMovie project. FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't, like invisible folders, packages and system folders. If there a file with your file name on it anywhere on the hard drive FAF will find it.
Do you have Time Machine enabled backing up to an external HD? This situation is exactly what TM is good at. It makes hourly backups so you can go back to find and restore the missing file. All HDs crash at some time or another and having a good backup strategy is the only protection against that. -

Photoshop Elements 8 crashes when trying to start Organizer. Funny, that starting the Photoshop Editor is not a problem and works fine.
I deinstalled the software and then installed it again, but had no effect.
What can I do?
NickThe Organizer preferences may have become corrupted, needing to be automatically re-built on a re-start.
Close Elements.
Click the Start Button and then your user name (in place of mine) and navigate to:
C: Users >> 99Jon >> AppData >> Roaming >> Adobe >> Elements Organizer >>8.0 >> Organizer
Delete the PSA file (with key symbol) and delete Status.dat
After deleting these two files re-start the program

When trying to open Photoshop it crashes when

In case you have some scanner/printer etc installed in the machine it might be causing issue. Try launching with none of the devices attached and anti virus disabled.

Adobe Standard 9.1.0 crashes when attempting create .pdf from scanner
Adobe Standard 9.1.0 crashes when attempting "create .pdf from scanner" from a Kyocera Mita KM-2550 using the twain driver. The error encountered is 0xc0000005 at address 0x0000000002d78e70. I have downloaded and installed the latest updates. This is happening on two new PCs with the same configuration. Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?
Spent quite a while on this one.. My problem was related to twain drivers which reside in c:\windows\twain_32. I'm running windows 7 64-bit. First it's usually possible to scan in windows 7 maybe vista and from adobe without even using twain (using WIA). So try renaming the twain_32 folder to _twain_32 and see what happens... If that stops the crashing look at the contents of the twain folder. I had a Dell folder for some printer I wasn't even using. That was causing the crash. I removed the dell folder and renamed the twain folder back to twain_32. Now everything works as designed.

Hoping someone can help me here. iTunes crashes when attempting to play tracks purchased from the iTunes store. Music imported from CDs still plays fine. They have played preiously but not since downloading and installing 7.0.2.16. QuickTime is up to date and I only have 1 PC authorised. Help!
