MSA: Activity Status field

Dear Colleagues,
In MSA application, when creating new activity, combos like Status, Result and Result are empty.
Which objects/subscritpion should I extract to get it populated?

But even then the status and the goal which I defined are not transported to CDB.
Can you let me know what subscriptions you have ?
I also could not understand what you mean by the Run the Profiler and know the Bdocs and Tables responsible for this.
I have checked the Table crmc_act_obj it contains the new result I have defined but the CDB table CDB_CRMC_ACT_OBJ does not contain any entries.

Not 100% clear on what you are trying to achieve so I thought I'd offer the suggestions I thought most likely.
1. If the Logged In User does not match the Activity Record Owner, then make the status field read only
PRE('<Status>') = [<Status>] OR UserValue('<UserId>') = [<OwnerId>]
i.e. Status value has not changed OR logged in user equal to record owner
2. If the Logged In User matches the Activity Record Owner, then make the status field read only
PRE('<Status>') = [<Status>] OR UserValue('<UserId>') {NOT EQUAL} [<OwnerId>]
+i.e. Status value has not changed OR logged in user equal does not equal record owner. Just remember to replace {NOT EQUAL} with the appropriate syntax in expression builder.+

How to edit LOV of the status field in activity record type?

I just want to edit the list of values of status field in activity record type, it is a read only filed, can anyone tell me if it is possible to edit? seems like it is referenced from a field called "EVENT_STATUS";

If the field they are updating is in the same object it shouldn't be an issue. If another object needs to be updated then the workflow won't work.
Integration events can be used for this. generate a event and have a external process poll the integration event queue for new events. when received, it can do whatever is necessary via web services.

Can we remove the default status field from OIM

hi,
even when my i am not mapping any field to the OIM status field , it is taking Active as default value. i dont require that field so is it possible to remove the default status field of OIM.
i am using database GTC connector for trusted recon.

User will always have a certain status like Active, Disabled etc, so even when you doesn't map it to any attribute the OIM solution calculates it with the help of the user's Start Date, End Date etc.
A user is bound to have a status.

Status field in CKMLPP tale

The note 1021361 explains how the costing run Selection step works. The note 1020833 explains how the Determine Sequence step works. Please read them for more information. The CKMLPP keeps periodical quantities for all Material Ledger active materials.
You can follow up the selection logic with the note 1021361.

MSA-Activity: Invalid Funtion of person responsible

Hello,
We are on CRM 4.0 and MSA 4.0/SP06 release.
Problem Desc:
1) Created new activity in MSA (Activity-->Details tileset) and saved.
2) Person responsible tile will be defaulted to logged in employee with function as "Sales rep"
3) Now added one more employee as a function "Interaction center Agent"
4) when try to save, it display error on status bar as "Function of person responsible is invalid for selected transaction type;select a valid function".
This is happening for all the other functions (except Attendee) like sales assistant, acount manager. sales clerk, sales manager....
PLease advice.

I am on CRM 3.0, and I have only "sales rep" and "person responsible" in dropdown as possible partner function roles.
May be you need to check your partner determination procedure whether you have defined other partner functions for activity.

Activity Status as Completed (pre-default)

I am trying to have Status field for Activity as pre-default "Completed", whenever the type is Meeting.
I am coding in the Status field:
IIf ([<Type>] = 'Meeting', LookupValue("EVENT_STATUS", "Completed"),[<Status>]).
I am using Create a New Task in the Opp. record...
I can´t make it work... the pre-default is not shown in the screen...even after saving the activity.
I tried using a post-default in the Status field and after I save the activity I can see it listed in the section *"Open Activities"* with the status "Completed"... this is strange...
Also, the same activity is listed under "Completed Activities"... so it is listed in both places...
If I click on the "Done" link (in Open Activities) and save the activity... it is not listed anymore under Open Activities.
Pls. I´d appreciate any hints on this...

Ok. I understand... I am clicking New and then selecting the Type....
Well pre-default does work... at least partially...
But I still don´t understand why the Activity created with Post-default = Completed is still listed under Open Activitities... It goes to the Completed activities section just after I edit it and save again...

Status Profile: Multiple Active Statuses

I have created a status profile through BS02 and assigned to a couple of Sales Document Types.
After implementing, I have found that there can be multiple active statuses. This is not a desired result.
1. Is there a way to control the profile, so that only one status CAN be active?
2. Is there a way to "fix" the orders which currently have multiple statuses?

Hi Tom,
after creating status u need to assign status to sales document.the particular status work for that sales document only.Go to VOV8 in transaction flow tab u enter ur status at status profile field and save the document.
Please do check the status how u maitained Ex.for qotation bolck,order block,delivery block... assign appropriate status to the sales document.

No Status field display in Appointment

when I try to import data by selecting Appointment,I can't find status field to map.

Pae, there is no status field for appointments. At the time of the appointment the open appointment activity automatically completes to a completed activity.

Status Field Picklist Values

It appears that the status field on the Service Request and Activity seems to be of PickList (Read-Only) and hence I am not able to add any other values. We are basically looking at adding one more value "Cancelled" to the Tasks/Appointments in the Status field. Any ideas?

Hi sriram,
IN service request, "Calcelled" value is available by default and to provide this value in task / Appointment in Status field i suggest you to use one workaround. rename existing status field to "Status Old" and create new Pick list field and name it "Status" and add picklist values which you require and finally replace the old field with newly created status pick list field in appointment layout.

Changing Picklist for Activity Status

Does anybody has an idea, how to change the values of the Activity Status Picklist? We would need just "open" and "closed".

Thanks Bob, I already assumed this.
I thought about using a second picklist and updating the standard status with a workflow. But this would require a default value in the standard status field.
The second problem is, that we are using Email Integration which I think is only updating the standard status. To solve this we need to have a default value in our second picklist of "closed".

Change pointer for functional location- deletion flag & activation status

Hello,
Im trying to use change pointer for functional location outbound interface. I did all required settings in BD52. The problem is with deletion flag and acive/deactive status.
I found that those two are stored in:
table     field
TAPL     LOEKZ
TAPL     PARKZ
The problem I have is that I cannot find the object for those table, and due to that it cannot be customized in BD52.
Could You please advise which object class should I use or alternatively which other table/field and object should I type in to activate change poiters for deletion flag and active/ not active status?
For object IFLO, and its table (IFLOT, IFLOTX, ILOA)- there is no field for del flag and active status.

Hi, standard didnt let us fulfilling this requirement. What we did- we extended table IFLOT with additional field for the status and used an user exit when saving FL, to take the value (status) from table JEST/TJ02T and copy the value to the newly created field. Then BD52, iflo, iflot, and the new field and it worked. Of course the function module for the message type (BD60) had to be changed to add this status value in additional segment/field for the idoc. Hope this will help You, as there is a lot of technical background behind it, and this is only functional overview.

How to change status fields for delivery vl01n or vl02n

Hi guys, I am new here.
I would like to ask how can we change the status field (LFSTK & LFGSK) in internal table IT_XVBUK and IT_XVBUP after we manipulate the quantities in the delivery order screen. I have tried BADI = LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC, Method = SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE, but unfortunately, I can't change those status field from there. Is there any other alternative(eg user exits etc). Please help.

You can script it. So on you docReady event put xfa.form["#subform"].locale="en_CA" or "en_US". Or even assign it from a value in an xml element.
