MSAD error for Create_User statement

I am trying to use MaxL to create users using MSAD external authentication. We do not use shared services. I have added users in the active directory. but when I run the MaxL Create User command
create user 'userid' type external with protocol 'MSAD' identified by 'OU=USERS, OU=______, DC=_____, DC=___';
I get the following error:
Statement executed with warnings.
User [userid]'s External Authentication Protocol [MSAD] not loaded.
When I look at the user list in EAS these user ids are not created. What am I missing here?

You have to use dynamic sql :
SQL> begin
  2  execute immediate ('create user test_user identified by test_user');
  3  end;
  4  /
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
SQL>Of course the command should be completed with other information (e.g. default tablespace, temporary tablespace, and so on).

  • 'Missing select' error for update statement using WITH clause

    Hi,
    I am getting the below error for update statement using WITH clause
    SQL Error: ORA-00928: missing SELECT keyword
      UPDATE A
      set A.col1 = 'val1'
         where
      A.col2 IN (
      WITH D AS
      SELECT col2 FROM
      (SELECT col2, MIN(datecol) col3 FROM DS
      WHERE <conditions>
        GROUP BY PATIENT) D2
      WHERE
      <conditions on A.col4 and D2.col3>

    Hi,
    The format of a query using WITH is:
    WITH  d  AS
        SELECT  ...  -- sub_query
    SELECT  ...   -- main query
    You don't have a main query.  The keyword FROM has to come immediately after the right ')' that ends the last WITH clause sub-query.
    That explains the problem based on what you posted.  I can't tell if the real problem is in the conditions that you didn't post.
    I hope this answers your question.
    If not, post a complete test script that people can run to re-create the problem and test their ideas.  Include a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all the tables involved, and the results you want from that data.
    In the case of a DML operation (such as UPDATE) the sample data should show what the tables are like before the DML, and the results will be the contents of the changed table(s) after the DML.
    Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.
    Always say what version of Oracle you're using (e.g. 11.2.0.2.0).

  • Why does plsql give compilation error for select statement?

    When I run following plsql program, it gives compilation error. Could somebody please point me out what could be wrong here? I am running it from system user.
    create or replace procedure drop_user_proc (iname in varchar2) is
    uname varchar2(100);
    begin
    select username into uname from dba_users where username = upper(iname);
    end drop_user_proc;
    select username from dba_users where username = upper('newuser');
    When I run it, I get following error. dba_users is there that is the reason it works outside plsql block, but it doesn't from inside block.

  • Runtime error for SELECT statement

    Hi All,
    I have written a SELECT statement as follows in my code.
    select budat pernr aufnr vornr from AFRU
    into corresponding fields of table it_vornr
    for all entries in it_cats_tmp
    where budat = it_cats_tmp-workdate
    and pernr = it_cats_tmp-pernr
    and aufnr = it_cats_tmp-rnplnr.
    The table IT-CATS_TMP is having around 3000+ lines.
    When control moves to this statement, the system is throwing Runtime error or its taking around 30 minutes time to execute.
    If i query the same table (AFRU) in SE11 for the same set of conditions, the table displays relevent data immediately.
    What might be the reason for this delay/Runtime Error?
    Shall i need to change the syntax for better performance?
    Your guidelines are highly appreciated......

    Hi
    1. Try to put WHERE conditions for KEY FIELDS.
    Solution: Create a RANGE for the key fields & put that in SELECT Query.
    DATA: gr_rueck TYPE RANGES OF afru-rueck.
    SELECT .. WHERE rueck IN gr_rueck.
    2. Avoid using CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE in SELECT.
    Solution: Change internal table fields ORDER.
    TYPES:
    BEGIN OF TY_VORNR,
      budat TYPE ..
      pernr TYPE ..
      aufnr TYPE ..
      vornr TYPE ..
      ... " Other fields
    END OF TY_VORNR.

  • Error when executing statement for table/stored proc

    Hi All,
          I am getting this error when executing IDOC to JDBC (Stored Procedure) Scenario.
         In my stored procedure I have three insert statements to insert rows in to 3 tables.
        This stored procedure is working fine for two insert statements i.e,
             For this I have created data type for stored procedure with 10 elements and executed the scenario and was successfully running.
        when I added 3rd insert statement to stored procedure ie., when i added 5 more elements to the datatype (totally 15 elements) it starts giving the bellow error in Message Monitoring.
    <i><b>Exception caught by adapter framework: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'COGRP_TMP_PROC_1' (structure 'Statements'): java.sql.SQLException: General error</b></i>

       Note:- I have run the stored procedure  with three insert statements in Sql Server, and also by calling an external program also, and was working fine.
    <i><b> Note : Is there any structure needs to be follow when working with IDOC to Stored procedure.</b></i>
    I am struck up with the error, can any body resolve this issue.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Murthy

    Hi narasimha,
                      This seems to be any error due to incorrect query formation.In your receiver jdbc channel set the parameter logSQLstatement = true.you can find this parameter in the advanced mode. Using this parameter you will be able to see the sql query which is generated at runtime in the audit log in RWB.

  • Error: FF805 Tax statement item missing for tax code

    Hi all,
    We are getting an error when releasing billing document to accounting in 4.7system.
    Error: FF805 Tax statement item missing for tax code O0
    No tax item exists for tax code O0 in a G/L account item. A possible cause is an incorrect transfer of
    parameters by the application to the Accounting interface.
    Please give your inputs and will be rewared.
    Quick reponse will be appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards.

    Dear Mehak,
    I am sorry for the late reply, but I started (in fact) to work in SDN Forum this year, even I entered earlier.
    We have many FF805 errors reported by customers and the same solution has resolved the problem. Please note that the SD-FI interface changed from earlier releases. The note 400766 eplxains the checks made.
    So it is possible that now you get error message FF805, when in an earlier release you didn't get it, eventhough no customizing change.
    Please review note -> 392696   R/3 Tax Interface Configuration Guide
    However please note => In the vast majority of cases, error FF805 occurs because of an error in your pricing procedure. The attached note 112609 explains in detail how tax codes are transfered to conditions.
    The note 400766 explains the checks performed by the system on the Tax codes:
    1. system checks whether there is a revenue line for each tax line.
    2. in the reverse case, for each revenue line containing a certain tax indicator there must be a tax line with this indicator.
    If the tax condition has condition value zero and condition base value zero, then it is not transferred to FI.
    If you have revenue lines containing a tax indicator XX, but no tax line with tax indicator XX, then the error FF805 issues, and it is justified. => Please check these informations.
    -> EXAMPLE
       If tax condition MWST has base amount zero and value zero; for this reason it is not passed to accounting. But, according to the criteria reported by note 112609, its tax indicator EG: A7
       has been assigned to the condition EG: ZBR1.
       So in accounting there would be a revenue line with tax indicator A7, but there isn't any tax line with indicator A7 (because MWST doesn't pass to FI). The note 400766 states situation is unallowed, and error FF805 is justified.
    IMPORTANT: Just a hint, any issue with FI, kindly report in the forum:
    Expert Forums - SAP Solutions - ERP Financials
    There you will find a lot of people that works with FI and can help you with future issues, including me
    I hope I could help you
    Kind Regards,
    Vanessa Barth.

  • 500 Internal Server Error OracleJSP: code too large for try statement catch

    We have an application which uses JSPs as front end and we are using Struts 1.1. When we run one of the JSP it shows the following error after executing .We are using OCJ4 server having version 9.0.4.0
    500 Internal Server Error
    OracleJSP: oracle.jsp.provider.JspCompileException:

    code too large for try statement try {
    23
    code too large public void _jspService(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response) throws java.io.IOException, ServletException {
    The JSP/application runs okay on one machine (System Tesing machine)with OCJ4 server having version10.1.2.0 but throughs an error on other machine( Development machine)with OCJ4 server having version9.0.4.0.The question is why it is running on one machine ane giving error on other machine I am aware that there can't be more than 64kB of code between try-catch block .Total size of the generated JSP class in our case is 577KB.
    Is the problem because of different version of Application server OC4J?.Is it any fix for this? Or Can anyone please suggest a work around. Or is there a method by which the JSP generated code is split between different try - catch blocks rather than a single try-catch block.Utlimately We don't know the whether is it a problem with JVM or hardware .
    It would be really helpful if you would provide me with some suggestion and input.
    Regards
    Shyam

    Sir,
    I am aware of the limitations of JVM that it won't allow java code more than 64Kb in method but we are using different versions of Application server .Application is working okay with OC4J application server(10.1.2.0) but gives error on Application server with version 9.0.4.0. Is this a problem with OC4J application server 9.0.4.0. I had gone through the documentation ofOC4J 9.0.4.0.application server but it does not mention about the this bug/fixes.
    Please giude me on the same.

  • Error in jsp:Code too large for try statement

    Hi friends,
    When i try to run a jsp program i am getting error "code too large for try statement". How can i rectify it rather than truncating that jsp? is there another way?
                                                  Basha

    Basha,
    When we were implenting an e-form component which was very big, the only way we were able to achieve it was by
    "jsp includes". In the main form simply included muliple
    jsp pages, where each was a section of the e-form.
    we have not found any other better way.
    Hope this helps.

  • Syntax error in For Loop statement

    Hello
    Normally my FOR staements have not been a problem as only access one table. I the example below I am accessing three table and therefore I get a Syntax error.
    I only wish to select the "Product" recored but need the other table to enable the select the right results.
    FOR product_rec IN (SELECT * from PRODUCT, PRODUCT_GROUP,PROD_PROD_GROUP
    where PRODUCT_GROUP.PRODUCT_GROUP_KEY = PROD_PROD_GROUP.PRODUCT_GROUP_KEY
    and PROD_PROD_GROUP.PRODUCT_KEY = PRODUCT.PRODUCT_KEY
    and product.supplier_key = company_no
    and PROD_PROD_GROUP.MULTI_WEB_DIS = 1
    order by PROD_PROD_GROUP.MULTI_WEB_SEQ)
    Can anyone let the correct syntx for this statement.
    Thanks

    select p.*
    from
      product p,
      product_group pg,
      prod_prod_group ppg
    where
      pg.product_group_key = ppg.product_group_key

      and p.supplier_key = company_no
      and ppg.multi_web_dis = 1
    order by
      ppg.multi_web_seqAlso, note that company_no is not aliased in the above query. If this is a column, it should be aliased as well (either with the full table name or the alias if you switch to using them). If it is a PL/SQL variable, it is fine as is.
