Multicast VLAN Registration Cannot Create Interface in MVR Type Receiver

Hi all:
I tried to create MVR type receiver in the a port in switch 2960X but it pops out error that the port is in mVLAN and cannot be done.
The port is in the same VLAN (default VLAN 1) as the ports which I have set to MVR type source. I tried other ports and they are having the same problem. Ports set to MVR type receiver are OK in the same VLAN.
I tried to disable the VLAN 1 as a Multicast VLAN but the same problem still happens. When I create another VLAN 2 and set the port access to VLAN 2, after that set the port to MVR type receiver, it is OK. The problem is I have to set the port type source and receiver in the same VLAN, may I know how to resolve this problem?

I just wish I found this BEFORE the upgrade is almost done... Would have saved me a lot of time.
Especially check if you have program RSWDVERCNT in your system (if not, see note 1058159).
This will check for incorrect references to data elements.
Also check if RSWFEVTXPRA has been executed.
Maybe your issue is related to Note 775111 - Unicode problem in BOR container?

We only have 1 single domain, 1 domain forest, no subdomains, only alias. I had replied to the other post as well. But I am happy to paste it here in case anyone want to read it.
So, after a few months of testing, capture and sending logs back and forth to Apple Engineers, we found out there is a setting in AD, under User Account that prevent us to log into AD from Mountain Lion. If you would go to your AD server, open up a user account properties, then go to Account tab, the "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication" option is checked. As soon as I uncheck that option, immediately I was able to log into AD on the Mac client. Apple engineers copied all my AD settings and setup a test environment on their end and match exact mine AD environment. They was able to reproduce this issue.
The bad part about this is... our environment required the "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication" is checked in AD, in order for our users to login into some of our Unix and Linux services. Which mean that it is impossible for us to remove that check mark because most, if not all of them some way or another require to login into applications that run on Unix and Linux. Apple is working to see if they can come up with a fix. Apparently, no one has report this issue except us. I believe most of you out there don't have that check mark checked in your environment... Anyone out there have any suggestion to by pass or have a work around for this?

No, You cannot create Interface Methods/Nodes in Standard Component by Enhancing. I would suggest to create a Singleton class and create your method in that class and can access across components.

NX-OS 6.2 Cannot specify interface vlan as source-interface for logging

I have the following config on Catalyst:

I want to be able to specify an interface vlan as the source-interface on NX-OS. The only option I can get is to use a loopback interface as the source-interface, but I want to specify an SVI. Is that possible with NX-OS?

AppleWorks is bundled with only SOME machines, the iBook, iMac G5, eMac and macMini.
Of course, as the media used is a DVD with a huge capacity, the app is stored on the support wher the operating system SPECIFIC to the machine is also stored.
But this implies NO link with the two products.
AppleWorks 6 was carbonised in a hurry to show that the thing was do-able.
My point of view is that it was done assuming that a replacement app would be available quickly. So, stick to human guidelines was certainly not a priority.
In fact, what was thought to be a short period beame a long one because Mac OS X needed a lot of time to become a sufficiently stable basis on which Apple was able to build a successor to AppleWorks and, as we all know, the successor named iWork is far from a complete product. There is nothing like a spreadsheet or a database tool.
So, we have to continue to use our old fashioned AppleWorks (which is also, for many of us an old friend whith sympathetic wrinkles.)

Cannot create PDF w/ custom page size in FM 9

I just upgraded to the new Technical Communication Suite and cannot create a PDF from FrameMaker with a custom page size anymore. I need to create a PDF with a page size of 8.125" by 10.875", and have tried both Save As PDF and Print to the PDF driver. I followed all of the instructions on how to do so via the PDF printer driver's "Printing Preferences", Adobe PDF page size, etc. When that didn't work, I also tried Save As PDF with a custom page size ... still won't print to the custom size no matter how many places I specify it.
My only way to get my custom page size at this point is to create the PDF and then go in and modify Document > Crop Pages > Change Page Size to Custom, and specify my size. This is clearly less than desirable.
I am using FM version 9.0p 196. Any help/advice/suggestions welcome!

You should get the FM updates. There have been 3 patches released since the 9.0p196 version. Install them in order.
Before creating PDFs, make certain that your default printer is set to the AdobePDF printer instance. The SetPrint utility from Sundorne helps ensure that this is always the case for FM, see http://www.sundorne.com/FrameMaker/Freeware/setPrint.htm
In the Save As PDF dialogue, set the "Page Size" for the output on the Settings tab, as shown here:
Set your PDF joboptions for the appropriate press requirements.
Set your registration if required.
Make sure the "Convert CMYK Colors to RGB" is set (the PDF CMYK generation is still buggy).
Hit the "Set" button and you should get the correctly sized output.
When you were creating the ouptut via the printer route, if you had set the "Generate Acrobat Data" option, then FM sets the document so that it is always cropped to the FM page size, rather than the printer specified output sheet size, in the final PDF. Omit setting this option and it should work via this route as well.

FTPEx: 550 : Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

Hi experts,
I am working on idoc to file scenario and PI 7.1. The idoc is split into 3 files.
In sxmb_moni , the message is successful , but in rwb( Message montoring) i am geeting the fllowing Error message.
' Delivering the message to the application using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: An error occurred while connecting to the FTP server '172.19.125.190:21'. The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 550 /Storedata/Outbound/0000001802: Cannot create a file when that file already exists. '. For details, contact your FTP server vendor..'
and this error message is not displayed for all the target files , some files are getting created succesfully.
After some times , the file in error status , gets created automatically.
What may be the reason.?

There seem to be already some files in your Target Directory with the same name as your new files (which the CC is trying to place) and the CC is not able to overwrite the existing files and hence the error...check this.

           I am developing a scenario where my sender is file and receiver is SFTP. It is pass through interface and to achive SFTP i used seeburger SFTP adapter. I generated the public from the certificate and shared the key with SFTP admin.
           Now whe i test the scenario i facing the following error in the SFTP channel @ RWB. The error is

                    I resolved the above error by creating aview in my keystore(nwa) . Now i am facing a new error.

Thanks for your reply. The error was gone when I tested again this morning. I am guessing it must be the SAP Note 716739 that we applied and might not have refreshed the cache.
I am still intereseted in confirming what exacly fixed this issue.
As per your suggestion, I looked at the left Nav bar and the error was at the "Call Adapter" step. Even in the log message it says the same. The reciever/interface determination and mapping were successfull. I could successfully test the scenario in the integration directory.

Now, I was not using the proxies but Http post to XI. Do you guys also think this might have fixed my issue?

ORA-02348: cannot create VARRAY column with embedded LOB

This error message I get when I try to create a table from my schema file which has a (sub-) element of type CLOB.
In my XML document I have an element which needs to become declared a CLOB (because it's > 4000 bytes), in my Schema I define it's element node like:

I can register this Schema file but when I create the table, I get the error:
ORA-02348: cannot create VARRAY column with embedded LOB
Does anybody know how to handle this ?

You need to use the xdb:storeVarrayAsTable="true" schema annotation so that unbounded elements are created at schema registration time as nested tables. Varrays can not contain CLOBs/BLOBS. Use the schema annotation xdb:SQLType="CLOB" to tell Oracle XMLDB to use CLOB storage for the element. See your schema below:

Cannot create the RTP Session

we have made multithread rtp streaming server and tried to transmit the mpg file in a applet on a web page using tom-cat server.
we got the following error...
Cannot create the RTP Session: Local Data AddressDoes not belong to any of this hosts local interfaces
Failed to initialize the sessions.

Cannot create complib - no BeanInfo generated!

Hello,
I�m trying to create a complib following the steps on http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Javatools/CustomComponentLibraries.
When I run the build.xml file, I get an error in the targets gen-component, gen-taglib, gen-beaninfo:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: und
at com.sun.rave.jsfmeta.generators.Main.run(Main.java:521)
at com.sun.rave.jsfmeta.generators.Main.main(Main.java:279)
At the end I also get a warning:
Warning: skipping zip archive C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\katsarova\Eigene Dateien\Creator\Projects\TestCreateComplib\build\complib\dkaTag-src.zip because no files were included.
BUILD SUCCESSFUL
No BeanInfo classes have been generated, so I cannot create the classes as described in section " Runtime: Final Steps".
Does anyone have any ideas?

Implement changes marked below with '<--'.
In Releases < 3.0D, define the exception 'CALC_ERROR' beforehand for the
function module 'COPA_READ_CALCULATION':
1. Start transaction 'SE37' for function module 'COPA_READ_CALCULATION'.
2. Select object component 'Table parameters/exceptions interface' and
choose 'Change'.
3. Enter the new exception:
CALC_ERROR <--ins
NO_CALC_FOUND
4. Save function module
This means is modify stand function 'COPA_READ_CALCULATION' and delete "CALC_ERROR" exception ?
And "calc_error" of Source code also be marked ?
if do this,it could affect the whole system?

External context mapping issue: cannot create nodes,no mapping defined yet

Hello everybody,
I'm trying to use the external context mapping as it is explained in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d7/e551cf896c3a49bb87bb4ce38c99c8/frameset.htm
I did it in the past without any problem, but now, when i try to create a new node, i get the error "cannot create nodes,no mapping defined yet." This error appears as i try to create an element of the node (in the Internal Component), this way:
     IPruebaNodoElement elto = wdContext.nodePruebaNodo().createPruebaNodoElement();
     elto.setPrueba("Esto es una prueba");
     wdContext.nodePruebaNodo().addElement(elto);
The mapping is correctly done in the "Embedder Component", and the attribute "isInputElement"=true in the Interface Controller of the "Internal Component".
Any idea, any clue?

Frankly speaking: I just read again, but very carefully, all the steps explained at
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d7/e551cf896c3a49bb87bb4ce38c99c8/frameset.htm.
Read it carefully and try to implement that example, that could be really helpful.

ASM: cannot create asm disks - permission denied

We cannot create ASM disks using the command:
# /etc/init.d/oracleasm creatdisk ASMDISK1 /dev/mapper/mpathdp1
Marking disk "ASMDISK1" as an ASM disk: [FAILED]
The log (/var/log/oracleasm) has the following:
Clearing disk header: done
Disk "ASMDISK1" does not exist or is not instantiated
Writing disk header: done
Instantiating disk: oracleasm-instantiate-disk: Unable to create ASM disk "ASMDISK1": Permission denied

The command is being executed by the root user. Our environment is OEL6:

To install ASMLib we did the following:
Installed the three packages:

We ran an strace on the createdisk command that is failing and I noticed this in the output file:

We changed /dev/oracleasm/disks to 777 in order to test but we got the same result. Do we need to adjust the permissions to all of the parent directories in the path (/dev/oracleasm/disks)? I've been looking around for anything related to permissions on /dev/oracleasm but the docs don't mention anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I understand, you should not set device permissions of /dev/oracleasm since oracleasm takes care of it according to /etc/init.d/oracleasm configure.
The problem in your case seems to be that ASM refuses to initialize and write metadata to your device. Was the device previously used by ASM? ASM will fail to initialize a device that contains previous ASM metadata. To erase the device you will need to use the dd command, e.g. dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb. Both ASMLib and raw devices require the candidate disks to be partitioned before they can be accessed. To create a partition on /dev/sdb, for instance, type fdisk /dev/sdb and create a standard partition using the defaults. This will create /dev/sdb1 and you can try oracleasm createdisk again.
You may try the above, but anyway, I was not sure how much you can trust your installation. The problem could also be that you installed the oracleasm kernel driver and asmlib software for OEL 5. Oracle Linux 6 includes an oracleasm kernel driver and as far as I remember you must not install another oracleasm kernel driver. Using modprob oracleasm and installing oracleasm support package using yum should do the trick. You may also need to download and install the asmlib package for the Oracle ASM grid install to see the ASM disks.
