Multilevel Replenishment in SAP F&R

Hi Experts,
I am new to SAP F&R. I read about multilevel replenishment. What is it exactly. Is this functionality is available in SAP APO.
Please explain.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Arun,
Did you check this link: Number of Supplied Sites as DIF Occurrences - SAP F&R Integration - SAP Library ? The case you are describing would require the activities in the SAP ECC Retail system to be done, which then results in metric DIF being generated via interface in F&R. No nee to maintain metric DIF manually in F&R.
The metric DIF in general has a value at a moment in time. This value can change over time. The effect of a value change is then input into F&R forecast.

  • Replenishment in SAP Retail - Article with multiple UOM/EAN

    Dear all,
I am using SAP Retail. I have an article with multiple unit of measurement as well as multiple EAN. A good example of this article will be canned soft drinks. It comes in pack size of each, 6, 12, 24. I have only one article number for this soft drink but I maintained multiple UOM and EAN for this article.
When I run auto-replenishment, I can only run it based on one of the packed size (fixed it as the default ordering unit).
Is it possible to run auto-replenishment for the various packed size?
    Best Regards
    Junwen

    Hi,
One suggestion. You can buy it in UOM bottle, minimum qty: 6 bottle. Multiples: Your vendor that decide the package size. When you do the GR then set the UOM of the size package, set a lot size calculation (each 6 units) or rounding profile.

  • Replenishment in SAP-Retail

    Hey,
My requirement is to group certain customers having same replenishment requirements and then assigning it to materials with defined replenishment parameters.
I have figured how to trigger the replenishment parameters at a material group level or merchandise category(for retail) level.
This is done by using the "Requirements Grouping" field in reference material for the material group.
Please tell me if its possible to maintain replenishment requirements and parameters for a group of external customers for materials.
    -Shubit

yes..your are correct and thanks for the help.
but see,I had actually done all that and it is reflecting correctly against the material when im checking the parameters of replenishment in WR60.
My issue now is that, I want to make these parameters avaialable for non-retail or external customers which we create in XD01....I know how these parameters are gettin reflected for stores but what shall be done for specific customers we create from xd01.
As,I want to maintain one material, its replenishment parameter for multiple external customers at once and not by one by one(this one by one assignment which can be done in the Article Master-Logistics Store view).
Im maintaining competitor group now which is in Site master-Merchandise category view...one can assign external customers to a competitor group...but I dont see it getting reflected when im creating the article in that particular site, and hence i dont see the parameters maintained for the customers that are in that class in WR60.
Please tell me if theres any way I can maintain parametrs for numerous customers at once for replenishment for an article.
    Thanks!

  • Time Phased Replenishment

    Hi Gurus,
I'm currently testing the replenishment of SAP retail for my client. I know for sure that we're going to have to use Time-Phased Planning to plan deliveries. I've created a planning calendar and delivery calendar for this purpose.
What I can't figure out is how I can factor in manual re-order point planning the system. I've read in some blogs that I'll just have to give a value for the Re-order Point field then the RP run will take care of the reorder point planning. I did just that and the RP run doesn't seem to recognize that my stocks are way below the reorder point and it doesn't create a PR for this.
Are there settings that I need to configure for the Time-Phased Planning to integrate with Manual Reorder Point Planning?
Below is the setup that I've created for my RP testing:
RP Type Z2 (Time-phased Planning) see attachment for RP config
    Lot-size EX
    Planning Calendar Z01 (Daily)
Delivery Calendar DLV (Period start is Wed & Fri)
    Forecast D
    Period Ind. T (Daily)
    Article 72
    Existing Stock - 1,800 ea
    Reorder Point - 2,000 ea
I've created a forecast via MP30 for the next 12 days since there are no consumption patterns yet.
RP Run (MD03) doesn't create a procurement proposal for the reorder point.
    Please help.

    Hi,
Try to tick the indicator of "Reorder point" in your MRP type Z2, and then check the result after MRP run again.

  • Requirements for integration of XYZ Service - SAP.

    Hi Team,
Appriciate any help on understanding the below requirement and how/where to start work in XI.
Requirements for integration of XYZ Service - SAP.
XYZ Service has CRM middle where and SAP ECC 6.0
    XYZ Service Calls
    =============
    1. All the completed calls in XYZ Service has to go in SAP automatically for validation process.
    2. All call details (parameters) has to come in sap from XYZ Service to SAP like..
         Field Name:
         =========
         Per No.
         official no.
         mohile no.
         Cust Name.
         Address.
         etc.
    3. All the AMC generated in XYZ Service should replicate to SAP, with all the customers, AMC and product details.
    Validation in SAP:
    ==============
    4. In SAP we have to validate the calls according to below parameters.
--> date of purchase :  abc validation
--> Serial No. :   Should be n fixed lenght with some format
--> Part & Qty. : Same part should not have been consumed in last 30 days in same unit.
        -->
        -->
        etc.
    Process in SAP
    ============
    5. All the calls which carry the spare parts has to approve by the store person. He can approve/disapprove the call.
    6. Call without spare part have to approve by system once validation process finish and it will considerin qlt report in sap.
    7. If the store peroson disapproves tthe call it has to go back XYZ Service and reprocess again.
    8. Prepare quality report for all the calls in SAP.
    9. Consumption report has generate for each call wise.
    10. Call wisw defective settlement( replenishment) in SAP and generate automatic loan settlement.
    11. Franchisee bill claim to SAP.
    12. ASC can change the disapproved calls and reprocess it again.
As for my understanding and discussions from the above requiremet,
Customer/franchisee/client....enters the request/data through the Web Application .
process from CRM and then to SAP ECC 6.0. after all the process complete details to be shown on Web Applications.
So here where exactly supposed ti implemet the XI system and little bit of confuse how and where to start from.
Please guide me to start the above mentioned and give me a break to learn and do lot of things in XI/PI.
    Regards,
    Ramana.

    Thank you Gaurav.
However, as for my understanding...as the client using a legacy system for getting the information.
also The data is given on Web Application ( say via portal) and the data verified from CRM system and then processed via SAP ECC 6.0 giving the required information on the Wb Application to the client (Portal)
That means needto implement XI integration to show the complete required information on the web application.
Only this is I am not knowing how to frame this complete design and where and how exactly to stat.
Please correct me if I am wrong and if possible with the same relavent information.
Thank you for your valuable support.
    Regards,
    Venkat,

3.Goods issue will be done manaully as it a Warehouse rel. picking scenario
    4. GR should be done automatically

    Peter thanks for the reply.
But is there a solution for this problem like installing a patch for oracle. I have pathced the oracle with 9.2.0.2.1 but still receives the same error.
Editing the script might cause improper installation of  R/3?
    OR will it work properly.
Can i use SQL 2000 to do the installation instead of oracle please let me know.
    Thanks,

  • SAP F&R: replenishment priorities for locations?

    Hi!
Could anyone help  to find a solution please.
There's an often business case that stock is very limited, and currently (w\o SAP F&R) business distributes the total amount manually b/w the locations, according to certain location prioritization.
As far as I understand SAP F&R first calculates the order proposals ,using the fare share logic, then it sends all order proposals to ERP, where the stock is actually booked for delivery...is that correct logic?
    question:
    1) can the prioritization for stock distribution be added to this process? (for ex., if  there are location #1, required q-ty=2;  location #2,required q-t=3;  location #3, required q-ty =4 . DC total stock =5 ps, but I want to replenish like that: first, replenish loc.#3 -> 4 pc to be sent, then location #1 - 1pc to be sent, location # 2 -> 0 pc to be sent due to out of stock)
    2) can it be covered within the existing solution? any additional work?
    3) what alternative ways to control distribution for prioritized locations can be used (to ensure they are replenished even when other locations are not)?
    thank you in advance!

    Hi,
We have got this situation in our current client. We have developed a customized program in FNR & we run this program after order proposals created from FNR and before sending to ERP, in this we basically determine the all order proposals from on a particular DC -article wise
    1) we aggregate all current order proposals - requirement quantity
    2) we determine the percentage on need basis with each store OP quantity diveded by total OP qty
    3) we start modify the Store OPs with respect to DC current stock & percentages
With this we ensure every store should get atleast some quantity. This was our clients requirement.
After this we send store OPs from FNR to ERP.In ERP we are not using availability check for order requirements.
If you are using availability check for order requirements and you have fixed priority Stores - may be you can create fixed variants in the order creation step in ERP . For this you should use buffer order tables in ERP which means orders are not directly created from FNR but stored in staging tables.you can shedule a job to create purchase orders from staging tables.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Sap wms fixed replenishment method procedure.

    hi
can anybody help me to the process of FIXED REPLENISHMENT METOD PROCESS .
    anybody elebarote it clearly.
    thanks inadvance.

    Hi,
Replenishment is used to fill up the stock in fixed storage bins. The SAP system first creates transfer requirements for the required quantities. You then process the transfer requirements to create transfer orders as you normally would with the WM system.
Two different replenishment functions are available to you:
The function "replenishment for fixed storage bins" calculates the replenishment quantities necessary to maintain stock levels, based on the current stock situation and the entries in the material master.
The function "planning of replenishments for fixed storage bins" forecasts the necessary stock for fixed storage bins by considering planned stock removals resulting from existing deliveries with picking from fixed storage bins, along side the current stock situation.
This is calculated based on the entries maintianed in the material master.
    Regards
    Ravi Shankar.

  • SAP Forecast & Replenishment flat forecast (plain)

    Hi,
I am currently configuring SAP F&R (Forecast & Replenishment) and I've found that it doesn't matter which is the configuration of any of our product / locations and we will always find a flat forecast after FR Processor run.
The forecast will take in consideration the DIFs so it will show the spikes, but no consumption fluctuations will be shown when the forecast is weekly displayed during a non-DIF period. The dayweights are dynamically calculated since the daily-forecast output reflects different values (only weekly forecast is constant).
If anyone had this problem or can give me any indications about how could it be resolved I would really appreciate it.
    Kind regards,
    Xavi

    Hi Xavi.
I am configuring SAP F&R 4.1 too. I am not sure about your problem but the flat forecast after FR Processor could be because your time serie data (consumption values) are very constants (similar values). On the other hand what Replenishment Type do you have selected in F&R Mass Maintainance for Location / Product?.
In my case I have a problem with automatic order proposals release since I don't get the automatic release. I use Replenishment Type 11 and I have the profiles with large restrecitions to avoid the exception cases. I get forcasting and automatic order proposals but no automatic release. The system generates this message exception: (High Priority) Exception-based release check enforces manual release for order prop. 0000000179.
If anyone had this problem or can give me any indications about how could it be resolved I would really appreciate it.
We could get more working together.
    Best regards.
    Alberto.

  • Replenishment Delivery and STO relation in SAP APO

    Dear SAP Gurus,
I need to find a table (or function or BAPI) where I can relate the replenishment delivery with the STO (schedule line item) that generated the replenishment delivery. I know that this information is available in the table LIPS on the ECC side on fields LIPS-VGBEL and LIPS-VGPOS.
We need this information for a customized report that uses pegging relationships to identify more critical products.
The point is: On the source location we have the replenishment delivery as a demand in which we can identify pegging relationhips, on the target location the same document appears with quantity zero so we cannot identify pegging relationships but the STO that originated the mentioned replenishment delivery appears with the quantity and shows pegging relationships.
We couldn't link on the APO side the replenishment delivery on the source location to the STO on the target location to build the report based on pegging relationships.
Any idea on how to get the link?
    Thanks and BR
    Mauricio

    Dear gurus
We have the STO return intercompany scenario with billing challenge.
In the company A we use standard valuation and material ledger in three currencies - EUR USD and GBP.
In the company B we use moving average valuation and material ledger in three currencies - EUR USD and GBP.
When we had sold in STO from company A to B goods in standard intercompany scenario
    1. ME21N -> STO (NB) with transfer price (from B to A)
    2. VL10B -> Intercompany outbound delivery (NLCC) from A to B
    3. VF01 ->IV billing from A to B
    4. MIGO_GR with 101 movement type on B side
the material ledger valuated the goods in e.g. 1USD, while the exchange rate was 1USD=0.57EUR.
Now we have to return these goods. The exchange rate is 1USD=0.50EUR.
    The steps are as following:
    1. ME21N STO (NB) with flag R from B to A
    2. VL10B from A to B
    3. MIGO_GI with 161 goods movement
The problem is that the material ledger remembers the value in USD and in the moving average of the current EUR and blocked the GI from B to A
    expected could not be done
    4. VF01 with credit IV billing.
Is it a bug that could be solved?
We already evaluated SAP notes OSS 430074 and 489543 without success.

  • "Load or Replenish" SAP ME web service

    Hi Experts,
I am looking for SAP ME web service which will DO a Load/Replenish from other system. Does any one knows SAP ME provide? If not, any good idea to propose without SDK development?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I cannot understand what you mean. Load/Replenish is loading one inventory into one slot. You mean I can use assembly point function to do that? I know SAP ME provide assembly point web service to consume component, but I think load/replenish is just PUT one inventory onto a slot of machine not consume yet.

  • Multilevel Categories Dropdown - Absolutely Confusing development by SAP

    Dear Friends,
On service request page, we have Multilevel categories ( multilevel from category modeler ) in DropDowns.
Now the Value -Key pair for the dropdown should have been CODE and CODETEXT from the Subject-Configurations.
But, for Categories , this is Code text is the subject code text but the KEY is some GUID.
Earlier in CRM2007, we used to have BTSUBJECT and related things to handle the SUBJECT and Reason codes but from CRM7.0 , this Category Modeler new things is introduced.
I dont understand why SAP has made it so much complecated.
Now my requirement is when a perticular category is selected, i need to show some messages to the IC AGENT, but now as the KEY is some GUID, i am unable to find what category is selected in the dropdown.
For example, say when category selected in 1st dropdown is - Emergency Maintainace , display message
" High Alert : Advice customer to call manager" ,
Technically "Emergency Maintaince"  is stored in system as KATLOGART - ZM, CODEPROFILE -ZM1 , CODE -Z508 , CODETEXT- "Emergency Maintainace"  ( table - QPCT),
but on WEB UI  in Category Dropdown, for every text, they are assigning some GUID...this is insane !! because, if for code-text SAP would have maintianed codes only , like for dropdown DDLB-key = Z508 , DDLB-Value = "Emergency Maintainance" then i could have easily put my code as  IF ddlb-key = 'Z508' . """"""DO SOMETHING""""""" . but now since SAP is maintaining it as DDLB - KEY = '4BF0414ED9D93D0FE10000000AF03717' (ie  some guid)  & ddlb-value= 'Emergency Maintaince' , I am unable to compare and put my code which is dependant on category selection .
Does anybody know , how can i retrieve the subject code (Z in thsi example) from this guid ? How how can i find what category is selected at runtime ?
    Thanks & regards,
    Suchita

    Hi Suchita,
you are right - this use of the GUID is in this case not needed and confusing.
In our company we had the requirement to prefill the category with a default value.
For this we set the GUID in UI development - so we work with the GUID in coding. As we import our categorization schema from development to production the GUID is the same in all systems.
    Kind regards
    Manfred

    Thanks.

    Hi
To be honest, we don´t find consultant as well as project regarding SAP F&R, Due to which we always limited with F&R knowledge. You can find some basic information below.
    http://www.scribd.com/doc/137256373/SAP-Forecasting-and-Replenishment-for-Retail-A-short-Overview#scribd
The best would be you should apply for SAP Training which could be offered online or personally.
In our case , we opted for Online training which was good to get F&R overview as well as some good slides.
