Multiple Entries in Single Field (seperate data...?)
I have some mess of data and curious on if this can resolved simple from a query.
What I have, is multiple entries in a single cell. All the data is separated by pipes(|).
So, I have data similar to this in a table.(all made up of course :))..
Soda, coke|pepsi|dew|dtcoke,
Computer, dell|hp|gateway,
What I'm looking to do, is to turn these values into separate columns. So the final output would look
soda, coke
soda, pepsi
soda, dew
soda, dtcoke
computer, dell
computer, hp
computer, gateway
Any suggestions. And, sorry for the hefty examples. Figured more the better....

How do you enter multiple order numbers in the field usually? Is there a space or comma separating the numbers? If so you will probably need to encode the space or comma, ie if a comma %2C. The easiest way to figure it out is to use a tool like HTTPwatch and capture the POST data to see the value that is normally sent by the transaction.

"Up Next" broken? multiple entries for single songs
Problem: I double-click an album and only one song plays. "Next" plays the same song. All songs are checked. Looking at "Up Next" and I find multiple listings of the first song in the album - my one song. Similarly I can double-click a single song and get similar results - multiple entries in "Up Next" - 21, 22, and then 19 times in a quick test on several songs (I think the number of duplicates is the same for a particular song but I'm tired of beta-testing).
I can drag an album or other selection into "Up Next" and all seems well. All my songs are "checked."
I keep iTunes up to date and installed a new version today before reporting this.

I was looking for something like that and can (almost) swear that the blue repeat icon wasn't there (I was looking for something like that, but of course my screenshot does not include the culprit so I'll have to assume I missed it).
And it's "kind of" only since in the latest version anyway you need to select "Off" from Control | Repeat rather than toggle the "One"

I still think the overall UI behavior is wrong - "playing" an album or playlist shouldn't repeat the first item IMHO. It should at least warn that Repeat | One is on.

Eg: Item field may contain no. of values for a recordHi,
It is generally taken care using BDC's by Table Control, and if you are using BAPI's then there are tables for ITEMS.

I needed to add field to a ztable, the options should include values from table LIKP-LFART and should allow for multiple entries.
I tried adding field with table type and structure type but error saying table type or sturcture cannot be used for table. Please let me know is there any other way how i can include multiple entries.

Hello, I am a beginner user trying to create a form using Adobe Livecycle. One of the fields I would like to make read only/protect it/password protect it after a user selects the date. For example, I select August 17, 2010 as the date. After I select it, I would like that field to be read only or protected so that another user can not edit it.
I am a complete novice using XML or codes. I'm learning alot from these boards though. I know its probably simple.
Any help is appreciated.The attached locks a text field if the date chosen is "08-17-2010". If it is not the text field is accessible.

In editing a simple, new Excel 2013 file, I am seeing certain cells with multiple, overlapping values in the a single cell. This is in the A-column so, not a matter of margins. Specificially, in one cell, I had "Design", then replaced
that text with "Reqt". Now I see the word "Reqt" written over "Design". when trying to delete the values, I can remove the "Reqt" value, but the "Design" value will not disappear/delete.
I've tried saving and reopenning the file with no effect; problem persists. Makes me think this is a corrupted .xlsx file, even though I just started from scratch 15 minutes before the problem arose.
I appreciate any guidance (or bug submission) you can support.

KevinI have successfully inserted seven records in one form submit operation by looping through the command object execute method.
However, the data that is being inserted by the command object is repetition of the first record and the command object is not taking any data from the text boxes for the second record onwards. In this I had used the isert record behavious generated by DW CS4 and modified it to suit my requirement. However, the data inserted in the first row is getting repeated in all the seven rows.
Please help.
Also advise if there are any free dreamweaver server side validation extensions available. -
Help with Multiple Entries in To Field

I need some assistance... I have an iPhone 4 and have it configured to get mail via POP and send via SMTP (no Exchange involved). I have all my contacts synchronised from my Outlook client from home. What I am seeing is that when I create a new e-mail on my phone and starting typing in the name of the contact, the contact is listed (and both work and home e-mail addresses are there). But in addition to this, similar to that of the "NK2 file in Outlook" there is an entry also for the contact as a plain e-mail address which is not stored on my phone contacts.
To summarise, I am getting say a contact with both a work and home e-mail listed plus what the phone sees as their e-mail address (not actually stored as a contact). For example,
TO: Barb

e-mail_address
> Barbara H
home e-mail_address
> Barbara H
work e-mail_address
Does that make sense? I want to get rid of the first listed e-mail address as I rely on my saved contacts in my phone for sending e-mails. It seems to be working in a fashion like the Outlook nk2 files for autofilling e-mail addresses.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I can't believe anyone at Apple said that was expected. That's worth complaining to Apple Support about because clearly whoever you spoke to isn't qualified to take calls.
Specifying multiple 'to' recipients should be entirely valid. I'd look at the mail logs to see what's going on. -

Does anyone how i can add all or a few of them depending what
is selected. they should all go into the area of law field in the
databasecybertek23, I'd seriously reconsider doing an INSERT INTO
for these fields as a comma delimited list. This will undoubtedly
cause nothing but headaches in the near future. A better way might
be use each checkbox fieldname as its own column name in the dB.

Data in the cube is showing multiple entries when compared with ODS
Hello BW Gurus,
We have a waste report in production planning on Cube and ODS separately. The same info package loads both targets (which means same infosource) but when we run a report on Cube, the records are showing multiple entries (i.e. Key Figures are not matching when compared to ODS) where as the ODS records are showing correctly as it was in R/3. There are totally 6 key figures out of which 4 pulled from R/3 and 2 are populated in BW.
An Example:
Waste report in PP run for plant 1000 for 12/2005 and process order 123456. The operational scrap should be 2.46% and the component scrap should be 3.00% for material 10000000. The report is showing 7.87% for planned operational waste % and 9.6% for planned component waste %. These values are not correct. The ODS values for order 123456 matched the data in R/3 for component and operational scrap.
There is a Start routine to the ODS and also to the cube. I am not good at ABAP so requesting your Help.

some how the AGSU qyt is not populating in the cube and when I dbug the code, I could see a clean record in the internal table but not in the cube.

In ODs we have option of overwriting and addition however in Cube we have only adition.Thats why you are getting multiple enteries.
If you are running daily full load on the cube then please delete the earlier requests.
So at one point of time there should be only one full load request in cube. Hope this will solve your problem.

I need to create several select lists in a form that can each populate the same field in a table, but obviously need for the select lists in the form to be mutually exclusive so that the user can only enter data into one of them.
There is also a field on the form displayed as a radiogroup, and I would like for the user's selection on this radiogroup to dictate which one of these multiple select lists they use to enter this data.
Before I do any of this, however, I guess my first question is, how do I create multiple text entry fields on a form for just a single field in the table?hi brice--
if you're coding your form page manually, you'd simply add your extra fields to your page definition and conditionally diplay and use the values you needed. i'm guessing you're asking about wizard generated forms.
you can associate multiple fields with a single database column on your form by simply adding the extra ones you need and conditionally displaying/processing the ones you need. your other questions sound like javascript ones to me. if it were me, i'd take a look at our javascript how-to document at...

Multiple material entry in single notification QM01

We have a requirement wherein we need to enter multiple materials in single notification. Currently the standard screen of QM01 allows only single material entry. Please help in finding a solution for this.

Putting multiple materials in single notification as header material is not possible. In fact how will you separate out material wise defects , coding causes, tasks and other information if you go with multiple materials.
The materials which you put under items tab cannot be treated as header materials. Rather these are the materials which are used as child parts associated with header materials which constitute bill of material. The purpose of these materials is to identify which child part attached to parent part id defective.
If the multiple materials you meant are child parts, you may proceed with these fields.
If time saving is your intention then you may develop the BDC for notification creation with selected filed. Prepare data file in excel / text and upload as you upload master data.

Only multiple entries in BP when creating a new table/field with EEW
Hi,
I am creating new tables/fields for BP in CRM 4.0 using transaction EEWB.
This is working quite well but the fields that appear allows multiple entries per BP. I just want one single entry per BP.
The wizard talks about multiple options but I cannot see how I define that if it should be a single entry or multiple.
Any idea how to achieve that?

As i know the fields will be multiple only, u can try for 'default'
and also try in the wizard in step 2
The Process of EEW will be like this
1. To add new fields to the business partner, use the business object Business Partner (BUPA) and create an enhancement of the type "Add New Fields". A wizard helps you define the individual enhancements and provides you with the necessary information for each step.
2 For each field, you must define the field name, data type and, if necessary, the field length.
3 For each field, define whether a check table should be available.
4 For each field, you must also determine whether it should be transferred to SAP BI or to CRM Field Applications.
5 In the last wizard screen, the system shows you an overview of the fields you defined, together with their associated attributes.
6 To start generation, choose Complete.
