Multiple report footers at bottom of report

Hi,
I have a report which has multiple report footer sections, all of which I want to appear at the bottom of the page. When I use the print on bottom of page option in the section expert (for each section), it puts each section on its own page (which makes sense in a way - this is the only way each one can be at the bottom I guess...).
Is there a way I can have it so all the footer sections are at the bottom of the page, but will appear on the bottom of the same page (if space permits).
Putting the details into a single section is not practical, as the sections are displayed/hidden based various criteria.
Thanks.

Take the Print At Bottem Of The Page off each footer section (a, b, etc.) , and put it on the main report footer

  • Keeping 2 Report Footers Together on Condition

    Hi,
I have a layout with two report footers.
report footer b has the "print at bottom of page" propetry checked.
    1. Can i keep together 2 different report footers?
    2. If not, can i create a rule so that if there is enough room for both report footers in the same page they will be printed in the same page while report footer b is printed at the bottom, but if there isn't enough room they will both be printed in the next page?
    Thanks, Udi

Keep making normal backups of your new phone. Don't let pictures accumulate in the camera roll. Download them to your computer and sync the ones you want on your phone to the phone's photo album. Backups don't include the camera roll.
If you ever need to use the old phone, disable automatic syncing using this procedure when connecting the old phone to iTunes: "Prevent automatic syncing one time, without changing settings: Open iTunes. Then, as you connect iPhone to your computer, press and hold Command-Option (on a Mac) or Shift-Control (on a PC) until you see iPhone appear in the sidebar. "
When the phone appears in iTunes, select the summary tab and select "Restore". When iTunes offers to make a backup, select the "Don't Back Up" option. After the Restore is complete, Tunes will present the "Set Up Your iPhone" dialog. Select the "restore from a backup of " option and select the latest backup for your new phone from the list.
Information such as mail settings, text messages, notes, call history, contact favorites, sound settings, widget settings, certain network settings, and other preferences including settings and data from third-party applications purchased from the App Store will be restored from the backup. Your info data (contacts, calendars, Safari bookmarks), music, videos, and applications will be reloaded by iTunes as they were before the restore. However, the applications will not be in the same order.
Read this article to help make sense of this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
This procedure will allow you to essentially "clone" your new phone onto the backup one without constantly syncing it. At most, you will lose the info after your last sync/backup of the new phone.

  • Has anyone successfully used multiple page orientations in a CR2008 report?

Hi -- I posted about this a couple of days ago:
Unwanted blank pages using multiple page orientations in CR 2008
I have a report with multiple subreports, each 1 page long, and some of which need to use landscape
orientation (most are portrait). Thanks to the forum, I learned that this is possible in CR2008.
Each subreport is in a report footer section. So, for the subreports that need to be landscape,
I use the section expert for that footer, Paging tab, and set it to landscape. I DO NOT
check New Page Before and New Page After -- but I get them anyway. There's a blank page
before the landscape page -- portrait orientation. There's a blank page after the landscape
page -- landscape orientation. In addition to being ugly, the blank pages mess up the page numbers that
need to be associated w/ each subreport.
I've checked the Report Footers before and after the footer for the landscape subreport.. neither of them have
New Page Before or New Page After checked.
I'm hoping to generate more interest/discussion w/ this post, and I also have some additional
    information.
    1) The "blank" pages that appear before and after the landscape page seem to be duplicates of the previous section.
That is, subreport 3 is in page footer c (portrait). Its results correctly appear on page 3, but page 4, which appears
blank, is also page footer c and shows the subreport object included -- but with no data.
The subreport in page footer section d (landscape) appears on page 5 (it should be on 4). Page 6 appears blank,
but it is also page footer section d and shows the subreport object included.
If I change page footer c to landscape, all the "blank" pages go away (though subreport c takes up 2 pages because
it's too long for a landscape page). So, from that perspective, having successive pages w/ the non-default
    orientation seemed to help...
Is there some trick to using multiple page orientations in a report that I'm not aware of? Can someone describe
an example where they were successful?
Maybe tech support will be the way to go, but I'd like to think that someone out there has worked w/ this feature!
    Thanks much,
    Carol

  • How to insert a table or object image other than at bottom or report

Please excuse my HTML ignorance. Is there a way to use a previously added tag to go back and insert a FP object at the tag location in an HTML report. The only way I can figure out how to do it would be to append the object using the report generation vis, then search the HTML document for the originally added tag, and replace this tag with the appended code.
I append teat results as they are generated but once all tests are complete, I want to put the summary table at the top (after the header though).
    Thanks, Rick

    Hi Rick,
There is no built-in way with the Report Generation VIs to append something to your report anywhere other than the very bottom.  I have attached a VI that shows the best way I can think of to accomplish this...it involves using an internal Report Generation VI called "Generate Report Get Data.vi" that gets the actual string that contains all your HTML from the internal data structure of the Report Generation VIs...once you have this string, you can manipulate it with the normal String functions in LabVIEW...then once you've got it manipulated the way you want, you can stick it back into your report.
I hope this gets you started in the right direction...I saved the VI in LabVIEW 8.0 format.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Error: Show Details cannot be executed when multiple items are selected in a report filter field or in a slicer

I have connected TABULAR Model to Excel, and in the pivot the filter is on multiple dimensions. When doing the drillthrough action it gives error - Error: Show Details cannot be executed when multiple items are selected in a report filter field or in a slicer
Is there any workaround to this error?  so that drillthrough can be done even with multiple selection.

    Hi Vikas,
The reason behind the error message requires the knowledge on what happens at the backend. When you perform a drill-through action, a query is sent to Analysis Services. This query is expressed in a query language called Multi-Dimensional Expression (MDX).
Since the MDX language doesnot support drill-through command against a set (collection of tuples) an error is persisted.
For now, there is no workaround as it is a limitation of the underlying language that is generating the query.
When multiple items are selected you lose the ability to drill-down on individual metrics. To resolve you must either:
    1. Select a single Item.
    2. Select all items.
    Hope this helps!

  • How to filter the data in different sections (e.g. Report Footers)?

    Hi,
I am using Crystal Reports 11 to generate cross-tables.
I plan to generate 3 cross-tabs, and each cross-table will be put in a section. For example, cross-tab1 in Report Footer a; cross-tab2 in Report Footer b; cross-tab3 in Report Footer c.
I know use "Select Expert" to filter data. But, it seems that "Select Expert" filters data for the whole report.
I want to filter the data for each cross-table separately. For example, filter cross-tab1 based on condition1; filter cross-tab2 based on condition2; filter cross-tab3 based on condition3.
How to filter the data in different sections (e.g. Report Footers)?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
Now that you've inserted the subreport just right-click the sub-report and click Edit. The Design page for sub-report should open up.
You can now insert the cross-tab on the Report Header and insert a record selection formula of your choice.
Also, suppress all the other sections of the subreport so the Main report only shows the crosstab without any spaces.
Do the same for all the subreports.

  • Multiple Details Sections in the same report

I'm trying to take two different columns from a fact table, and display them in one column on the report. So I'll then have the charge quantities (grouped and summarized) listed above the charge amounts (grouped and summarized) across months (columns).
Is there any way to have multiple detail sections in the same report, something like below? I tried sub reporting, but you can't subreport a subreport. I also tried cross tabs, but they're not flexible enough in the groupings I'm looking for.
    Report Header
    Group Heading 1
    Details
    Group Footing 1
    Group Heading 1
    Details
    Group Footing 1
    Report Footer
    Thanks!!

    Hi,
Inorder to create new  Group Header sections like Group Header a and Group Header b.There are two options
->In the design mode of the crystal reports,Rt.click on the Group Header section-Choose insert section below
    OR
->From the Expert tool bar->select the Selection Expert, choose the Group Header->click insert button

  • Query Variable - Bottom N Reports

    Hello Experts,
I'm creating a Statistics query and would like to execute the query for 'Bottom N Reports' which would be an input variable. Could you please let me know how this could be accomplished. I know I can create a Condition for 'Total time' key figure (As 'Bottom N' and have a default value set against it). But, I would like to do it at runtime instead of having a default value set.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks.

    Hi Mann,
In the same place, click the button to choose a variable instead of setting a default value for the N. This would be of type Formula variable, and you can create one right here if nothing is available.
    Hope this helps...

  • Need help on implementing all types of footers in one xmlp report

    Hi,
I'm working on a XMLP report where i've requirement to print different footers as below.
Footer1 -- First page only footer
Footer2 -- Last page only footer
Footer3 -- Regular footer which should be printed on all pages EXCEPT first and last
Footer4 -- Different from all above and needs to be printed only when it is single page.
Example#1 : If the output is of single page
    ---> Page starts
    Header
    body
Footer4 (footer for single page output)
Example: If the output is of multi page say 3 pages
    ---> Page 1 (first page)
    Header
    body
    Footer1 (first page only footer)
    ---> Page 2
    Header
    body
Footer3 (regular footer for all pages EXCEPT first and last pages)
    ---> Page 3 (last page)
    Header
    body
    Footer2 (last page only footer)
Is it possible to implement all these footers in one XMLP report? if yes, it would be a great help if someone shares the logic.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
my suggestion is to check the standard documentation of the interface IF_EX_ME_GUI_PO_CUST.
After that you can check the method IF_EX_ME_GUI_PO_CUST~TRANSPORT_TO_DYNP in the example implementation class CL_EXM_IM_ME_GUI_PO_CUST.

Report Multiple Unique Services in a single report
Using Advanced reporting is there a way to report on 3 unique service requests into one report by using a common field, in our case it is an application identifier that is common in all the request types?

    Peter,
Thank you for your answer, but I'm not sure I understand or I may not have made my issue clear.    The dictionary with the fields is reportable and the services are reportable as well in Service Designer.   I go into Ad-Hoc reporting and access the dictionary and insert the field to my report, I then pull the first service in - everything looks good, I go to my next service (both services use the dictionary with the application identifier) and try to pull in the data from there and the repor

  • Multiple servers connected in one Smartview report?

Currently my users do side by side comparison between the HFM application on the Production Server and then Development server. To do this, they create a report in each environment, but i'm wondering; is there anyway to create a report to connect the two? Each environment has its own APS so i'm a little confused on if this is even possible. Even if i change the connection name, it doesn't work. They use function reporting for this, could Ad Hoc be used?
System: v11.1.2.1 (if it works with Smart View 11.1.2.3, then i'm willing to upgrade).

    Raj,
The easy way... Open a new report and place the 5 reports next to each other in the design window as sub-reports.

  • Report column footer print after report footer

I have a report which has column footer and report footer.
The column footer always print in the bottom of the page and it happens the report has half page then report footer print before column footer.
I would like to know is it possible to have column footer just after last detail line print and report footer print after column footer which is more professinal report format,

It is not possible to change the order in which the footers print.
To achieve what you want, do not use the "column footer" band. Create a dummy report group and use that group's footer, which will always print before the "report footer".

  • 2 Report -Regions combine in 1 Report-Region but 2 different SQL-Querys

    Hallo,
    I have a question.
I have a page and within this page 2 different report-regions. Each of this regions has its own sql-query.
Now I would like to concentrate them in 1 report with one title. But there are still 2 differnet sql-query
that I can't combine. My issue is that I only want to show the result in one report.
Does this work or is there a workaround I could do?
    Thanks, Jade

    Hi,
As the report region's title is just whatever text you've entered, you can just put the title on the second report onto the first report and set the second report to use "No Template". You would probably need to remove the pagination settings for both reports - select No Pagination and set the row count to a high number.
The final bit would probably require a new report template - you can create a copy of the existing report template that you're using - and remove the Column Heading Template setting. This is only necessary if you need to remove the column headings from the second report. There would be a gap between the two reports - not sure if you need to remove this as well? If so, you would have to adjust both templates to remove the this from the bottom of the first report and the top of the second report.
I think that how you go about this will depend on exactly what you need to see between the two reports - if they need to look as though they are just a single report then you may have to complete all of the above steps.
    Andy
