Multiple Response Structures in a single mapping

Hi
I have  Proxy Soap SYNC Scenario.
The request structure has 10 fields. For different combinations of the Source fields, the WEBSERVICE returns two kinds of responses.
Both are of different structures.
Please let me know how can I map both the responses back to the Same outbound message type belonging to the proxy.
Regards,
Yashwanth

Hi Mark,
the outbound message type has fields for both the types of messages. But the problem is that the RESPONSE message is failing as there two structures coming in different cases.
i have configured one of the structure and it is running fine.
I am not getting how to incorpoate the second response structure in to the existing one.
I tried this :
I created an Intermediate messate type with both the message structures. Wrote a java map to remove the soap envelope and transform th incoming RESPONSE into the intermediate structure.
Then defined the message mapping from this intermediate structure to outbound structure.
I guess the java code is not working.
Below mentioned is the JAVA mapping code .
It is still not working.
String inData = sb.toString();
                    StringBuffer finalDoc = new StringBuffer();
                    String in1 = inData.replaceAll("<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap=\"http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:xsd=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema\">", " ");
                    in1 = in1.replaceAll("<soap:Body>", "");
                    in1 = in1.replaceAll("</soap:Body>", "");
                    in1 = in1.replaceAll("<soap:Fault>", "");
                    in1 = in1.replaceAll("</soap:Fault>", "");
                    in1 = in1.replaceAll("<soap:Envelope>", "");
                    in1 = in1.replaceAll("</soap:Envelope>", "");
                    int startidx = in1.indexOf("<Discovery_Result xmlns=\"https://www6.AustinTetra.com/AIT/WebServices\">");
                         int lastidx = in1.indexOf("</Discovery_Result>");
                         if ( startidx > -1){
                              finalDoc.append("<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?>");
                              finalDoc.append("<ns0:MT_Discovery_Intermediate_Response xmlns:ns0=\"http://applied.com/I1089/3rdPartyCreditInterface_To_Equifax\">");
                              finalDoc.append(in1.substring(startidx,(lastidx + 19)));
                              finalDoc.append("</ns0:MT_Discovery_Intermediate_Response>");
                         }else {
                              finalDoc.append("<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?>");
                              finalDoc.append("<ns0:MT_Discovery_Intermediate_Response xmlns:ns0=\"http://applied.com/I1089/3rdPartyCreditInterface_To_Equifax\">");
                              finalDoc.append(in1);
                              finalDoc.append("</ns0:MT_Discovery_Intermediate_Response>");
                                                                                out.write(finalDoc.toString().trim().getBytes());
                    out.close();

  • How to map idoc segments to multiple output structures

    Dear experts,
    On Pi I need to map segments from an Idoc to 2 different outputstructures. My scenario is as follows:
    incoming Idoc on PI -> if segment eq 'X' then map to outputstructure '1'; if segment eq 'Y' then map to outputstructure '2'
    Idoc structure is as follows:
    - 1 header segment
    - 1..n detail segments (which I need to map to outputstructure 1)
    - 1 summarisation segment (which I need to map to outputstructure 2)
    Output needs to be a .txt file.
    I would like to use the graphical message mapping on PI, how can I map the Idoc to multiple output structures?
    Thanks in advance,
    William

    Hi
    You can do 1:n multimapping
    in message mapping in messages tab ..add both the structures in target tab and do the mapping
    and in operation mapping add both the message interface on the target side
    PLease go through this blog

  • Multiple Source Structure in single flatfile using lsmw idoc method

    Hi Abapers,
                we have a requirement for Business partner Data mIgration into CRM system using LSMW idoc method,I got a flat file
    which has multiple source structures like(header structure,Tax structure,Mailstructure,Identification structure,bankdetails structure,card strcuture........etc of 12 structures) with identification for each structure. can any one help me how to handle this in lsmw or any link of this kind of scenario will be helpful for me .
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi Saeed,
    For example if you want t create bom through lsmw then we will *** two files one header and other item one.In the same way .In lsmw start by keeping the idoc method i will only propose at second step how many files it need. Just map the idoc and see. Post if need more help.

  • Multiple response quiz answers changing to single response

    I am experiencing a funny problem with multiple response
    questions. Sometimes when I launch a project with a quiz- the
    multiple response questions are suddenly changing to single
    respones - even the button changes from the squares - to the round
    radio buttons. I go back and check and everything is set up
    correctly - the multiple responses are all checked and it previews
    correctly.
    It seems to randomly happen only occasionally on all my
    projects - I can't recreate it as it will just happen sometimes.
    Does anyone know if this is a common problem - or how to fix
    it.
    I'm on Captivate version 2
    Thanks
    Nat

    Have you checked for any updates for Captivate 2? It could be
    a bug that an update can remedy.

  • Splitting multiple IDoc XML files into single IDoc messages for R/3

    Hi all. I have a problem splitting IDoc XML files coming in to XI. I currently have an interface that takes in single store sale IDoc transactions (type WPUBON01) in an IDoc XML file. I then have some complex graphical mapping on the IDoc before sending to R/3 via the IDoc adapter. This works fine. However, we now wish to include multiple sales in one file i.e. many WPUBON01 IDocs. I could use message splitting to do this BUT the mapping is so complex, I do not wish to have to change it to enable the processing of many IDocs in one file instead of just one.
    What I want to do: have one mapping splitting a multiple IDoc XML file into single IDoc messages and then another taking these single messages as before and performing the mapping. I cannot find a way to do this in one interface; the main problem I'm having is getting XI to split the multiple IDocs into many single IDoc messages within XI itself. I'd be very grateful for any advice on the best way to do this.
    Thankyou.
    Stuart Richards (Halfords, UK)

    Bhavesh,
    Thanks again for a clear explanation... I'm moving forwards but still struggling. I've been on this all afternoon today (after a break on other things) and just cannot get my message to split properly (though the SOAP adapter problem I had earlier is now fixed!). If my initial IDoc XML file contains this format:
    <WPUBON01><IDOC>....</IDOC>
                          <IDOC>....</IDOC>
                          <IDOC>....</IDOC></WPUBON01>
    .. I'm not sure what the cardinaility on the first message mapping and interface mapping should be. I'd have thought the source interface would be 1 and the target would be 0..unbounded but this isn't working. I'm trying different things but I get different errors each time. Currently, I have the above cardinality in my first interface and I'm passing in the following data:

    In the message monitor, I get a chequered flag. Great. However, I get the dreaded error 500 in the SOAP receiver comm channel:
    SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
    Exception caught by adapter framework: SOAP Error
    Delivery of the message to the application using connection AFW failed, due to: SOAP Error.
    Any ideas as to what this might be?! I'm getting there.... if I get a solution out of this, I promise to write the blog myself!

  • Coverage Strategy use multiple Category Structures

    Hi AFS Expert,
    In the same Coverage Strategy, does it allow to use multiple Category Structures to do the transfer from requirement category to stock category?
    E.g Category Structure: AA, BB
    "Category Structure AA --&gt; Coverage Strategy CS1 --&gt; Requirement category" transfer to "Category Structure BB --&gt; Coverage Strategy CS1 --&gt; Stock category"
    Is it possible to do?
    Looking forward your kind advise.
    Thanks,
    Mag

    Hello Mag,
    The coverage strategy is configured for a single category structure and it maps the category values of that category structure. We can define the sequence in which the stock categories map the requirement categories. We will not be able to map the requirement category to stock category across category structures.
    Hope this information helps.
    Regards
    Sudha

  • Multiple event structures in one VI

    I have two event structures in a single VI, one that handles events that freeze the user interface and one for events that don't. The latter group are all triggered acquisition tasks, where you arm the  data acquisition, but possibly might want to abort it (or do other things, while waiting for the data to come. Obviously you need a stop button to be active and responsive. In retrospect, using two loops was possibly a poor choice, but one I made because it never occured to me that these things would only fire once and have to be put in a while loop to be kept active. No other language does that as far as I know. Anyway, the question is how do I keep both active? Do I enclose both in a single while loop? Do I give each there own while loop. Do I give up and merge the two event structures into one. For clarity I would like to keep them seperate, but that is not essential. I'ld like to know what my options are.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    rossu wrote:
    If they are in sperate while loops will they both run. If they are in one loop will the loop recycle if one structue is still waiting for an event to occur?
    The answer to this is fundamental to how LabVIEW works. A loop will not proceed to the next cycle until everything inside it completes. If you have two event structures in the same loop, both of them need to process an event (or a timeout) before the loop will iterate.
    You can have multiple event structures in the same VI.
    By "freeze the UI," do you mean the "Lock front panel..." checkbox in the event dialog? There is no problem with having some events that do lock the front panel and some that do not in the same event structure. I'm not sure that this is what you mean by "freezing" the UI, though.
    EDIT: and one more comment. Generally you should not put long-running tasks (like data acquisition) inside an event structure. Instead, the event case should pass those tasks off to a separate loop (for example using a queue) so that the event structure can quickly go back to listening for other events.

  • How can I combine multiple icloud calendars into a single published calendar?

    I have several calendars in Ical where I map my activities and schedules. Like many I need several calendars to categorise events.
    Now, I'd like others to see when I'm free and when I'm unavailable. For this, I'd need to find a way to copy multiple Icloud calendars into a single one for publishing - and the published calendar would also have to sync to any update I make in the original calendar.
    Any way to make this happen? Any third party app? Tried a couple - they were outdated and / or cumbersome.
    If only there was a "smart calendar" tool in Ical …

    It worked - up to the crucial point: after combining icloud calendars into one "on the machine" calendar, the latter is ready for going public. But of course - this public calendar will only contain the .ics files and will not sync for updates from the icloud calendars.
    And that's what I want.
    If this problem is not possible to solve with the software available in the Mac - is there any known third party solution for this?
    (Apple: "smart calendars" please!)

  • Multiple DNS Domain support in Single instance of Portal

    Can BEA portal support multiple DNS domains in a single instance of BEA Portal.
    For example can I setup portal to respond as bothe www.xxx.com and www.yyy.com
    and keep those urls as trhough the entire portal?

    Hi,
    thanks for your quick response. You mean we should run only one copy of the package I mentioned and seperate the plants and machines by logic implemented in the package? Well, I think this is critical in case of deploying a new version, since all machines at all sites won't have the system available at the same time. At the moment we do not have things in the system that are needed to go on with production, but we have planned to implement some things that will be indispensable and in this stage we need a clear seperation of the plants to minimize the risk of a simultaneous stand at all plants.
    Thanks for your suggestion and best regards,
    Matthias

  • Merging multiple rows in to a single row (when rows meet merging criteria)

    Hi
    I have a scenario to merge multiple rows in to a single rows when the data in those rows fall in merge criteria .Below is how my data is
    Now the merging logic for the above rows is , we need to combine multiple rows in to a single row when the data in those rows permits us to do in that way. Simply saying , its like sandwich where we combine multiple things to a single piece.The output for
    the above rows should be
    Here  we combined Row 1 ,2, 3 in to a single row as the data in those rows permits to merge in to single row. But the row 4 cannot be combined to any of those rows because the data in those rows doesn't permits us do a merge ( As the value of the column
    JobSource for the row 4 is different from the other rows ) .
    My original data has 56 columns , but for readability i kept only 9 columns.
    can you please throw some idea on how to achieve this scenario. I know we need to use CTE for achieving this, but i am not able succeed in doing an iteration on multiple rows.
    Appreciate your response .

    Thanks for your reply .
    Rule for merging is simple . First of all there is no unique row identifier for each row , the fact table is not having an identity column in the database . I called row 1 , row 2  etc in my post above only to make better explanation of my scenario.
    The rule for merge is below.
    1) we can combine only when the data in a column for one row is null & the data in same column for the other row is not null . It should also satisfy the condition where the data in other columns should conflict each other.
    2) Data for all columns for the merging rows should not be conflicting (i.e. we should not merge the rows when the data in a column is not equal to the same column in the other row
    ,considering not null value)
    Steps in merging the above source data :
    1) Consider the case of row 1 and row 2 in the source, we can combine these rows as the data is satisfying the rule 1 for columns (Jobsource,Flight, Package,Update,Iscancelled
    ,Result, Severity) and columns (JobID and RuleName ) fall under rule 2.  we merge these two rows in to a single row and keep in that in the table.
    2) Then the resulting row is again merged with the second row which is present above by applying the rule 1 and rule 2 . Below would be output of merge operation.
    Now there would be only two rows in the output . But these rows cannot be merged as the data doesn't satisfy the merge rules 2 . As Jobsource for the row 1 in the above output is "PresubmissionSource" which is not equal
    to "PostSubmission" jobSource which is in row 2. So these two rows are left unmerged .So the above two rows would be the output of merge operation on my source data.
    This process has to be repeated for all the rows in the table. As of now my table as 92 Million rows with 56 columns which need to be considered for merging rows. I replicated my scenario in 9 columns and 4 rows to understand better.

  • What could be causing my multiple response survey question to show a non-response in LMS report?

    I have a 10 question survey that has been running fine and providing accurate responses in reports generated from my LMS. I made a property change to a multiple response type question that is now causing the reports to show a date/time (2003-01-01  18:00:00) response instead of the actual multiple responses the user made. The change I made to the question was to change the "Numbers property from" [ a), b), c) ] to [ 1), 2), 3) ]. This property change did not affect the reported responses for the single response questions, only the multi-response. This problem occured Using Captivate 4. I then tried using the same properties in Captivate 5.5 thinking it was a bug in CP4, but got the same results. Has anyone else run into this issue? I'm going to bring this to the attention of my LMS provider, but want to make sure CP is clean first.
    Thanks,
    Dave

    First things first. I am not an LMS expert, so this is not about troubleshooting.
    However, to ensure that your course works fine on a SCORM-compliant LMS, you can upload it to cloud.scorm.com and test it out. If the course works fine there, rest assured that it will work fine on any SCORM-compliant LMS. If your LMS team comes back with an issue after this, you can counter them with this evidence that the problem is with the LMS and not your course.

  • Multiple Pricing Procedure in a single sales order

    i have come across in a scenarion where i need to have multiple pricing procedures in a single sales order.
    Does SAP support this functionality ?
    actually i am using a free goods, so for the trade item i want it to be charged at "SALES GL-Code" and for free good item i want it be be charge at "BONUS GL-Code".
    can anyone help me out that how can i handle this situation.

    Hi,
    Do not repeat the same question in different forums..
    to answer your question:
    No, not possible to have multilple pricing procedures to a single document.
    For your scenario, the trade item will be charged as lets say PR00, and this will have an account key mapped to GL1
    and for the free item, use the discount ctype R100 and map it to another GL--bonus GL and this should help you with your scenario.

  • Getting Started with Swept Sine (DAQmx) Multiple Response Signals

    Hi,
    I've been using the modified version of the Getting started with swept sine.vi for multiple response signals
    https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-24474. Program fully suitable.
    However, I am facing with three issues :
    1) The edits are highly non user friendly (horrible for 6 multi-channel already), and quite long to perform.
    2) Would there be a way using for loops to have a more compact and flexible way to use FRF? (Calling 6 times the same program in a similar structure does not quite seem like a smart move yet I'm relatively novice in LabVIEW).
    3) Be able to set the number of channels somewhere in the software, and automatically have the software to be able to cope with this? (aka if 20 multichannels are needed, no need to modify the code?)
    It's probably going to be a lot of work to get there, all I'm asking for you guys is to point me in the right direction and suggestions,
    Cheers,

  • Can I separate out for analysis multiple responses to one question?

    I created my first survey without realizing that by creating a question that allows the respondent to choose multiple responses, I might have a problem parsing out the responses for analysis.  I have been downloading (exporting) the responses into an Excel file;  however, all choices made by each person for that question gets exported into one Excel cell as one long text string.  So how can I do anything with this data?
    Sure, the Summary Report provides a nice bar chart showing the number of occurrences for each possible choice out of the several I created for the question; however, it appear that I can't get this data into my SPSS to do cross-tabs without going through some crazy impossibly labor-intensive mapping of every one of my hundreds of survey responses.  Am I wrong?  Is there some way to do this as I can in SurveyMonkey?

    We don't support this directly. This post explains a potential work around: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3869111
