Multiple selection of checkbox  in  jtable

hi
I am using jtable in which first coloumn is using checbox.Ihave used celleditor and cell renderer for that.I want to check multiple checboxes
at a time and on click of update button wanto send that information to database.But i m not able to check multiple checkboxes.As sson as i click on 2nd checkbox prwvious selection get cleared.Please help me as soon as possible.

.Ihave used celleditor and cell renderer for that.I want to check multiple checboxesThere is no need to use custom renderers or editors, they are provided by the JTable.
Read the JTable API and follow the link to the Swing tutorial on "How to Use Tables" for a working example.

    hhhmmm.... is this what you mean?
    lets say you hava a checkbox1 with values value1, value2, value3 and you selected all there of them? then you want then to be stored in the database in one column?
    now the question is:
    Is it going to be one column one row?
    datafield
    value1,value2,value3
    Or one column multiple row?
    datafield
    value1
    value2
    value3
    Which is it?

    Hi All
    I have created an ALV Report in which Final Internal Table(Fields to be displayed) is having a Field as CheckBox.
    Problem is when I'm clicking multiple checkboxes only single field of table is getting updated but I want multiple rows to be updated. I have tried by using loop also but no use.

  • Multiple selection in JTable

    Hi ,
    The problem is to select multiple rows and columns in the JTable like that of a excel application and have the focus on the first column of the last row. for example if select cells from ( 1,1 ) to ( 4,4), after selection the focus should be in cell (4,1). i have written a prgram( which is below) which uses listSelection to find out the cells which are selected. i found out the cells which are selected also. but i do not know how to get the focus on that cell. i have attached the code below also.. i want to know whether there is any method which set the focus to the particular cell. Can the problem above can be solved in any other way..or a simpler way..

    Whic cell is focused depends on where you begin your selection. The cell that you press your mouse first will be the focused one. Here is how I implement the mutiple selection functionality in a JTable as what MS Excel provides. This class is independent of my any other package. your table has to have column headers and a upper left JLabel corner(int the scroll pane containing the table) in order to make this class which I named TableSelectionAdapter function properly. You can revise and imporve it as you need, however.

  • Multiple selection in JTable for deletion

    Dears,
    I'm using Jdeveloper 9.0.3.3 on 8.1.7 Oracle DB.
    I noticed that when a JTable is bound to a View object ==> only one row can be selected.
    My situation -which I think is very common- I have a screen with JTable where I can edit a row and commit my updates or select multiple selection in JTable and delete them at once ; thats what I need.
    It is very like the test of any application module but allow multiple selection and deletion in JTable for user's selected rows.
    How this could be done in JClient?
    Thankx in advance.

    Thanks for your suggestions! They both would work as workarounds, I think. I tried another way:
    Following code changes a TableBinding bound JTable's selection model to Multi select (thanks to Shailesh!!).
    void setMultiSelectionModel(JTable tbl)
    class MultiSelectionListListener implements javax.swing.event.ListSelectionListener
    ListSelectionModel defSelModel;
    MultiSelectionListListener(ListSelectionModel model)
    defSelModel = model;
    public void valueChanged(javax.swing.event.ListSelectionEvent e)
    if (!e.getValueIsAdjusting())
    ListSelectionModel listModel = (ListSelectionModel)e.getSource();
    int leadIndex = listModel.getLeadSelectionIndex();
    if (leadIndex == listModel.getAnchorSelectionIndex()
    && leadIndex == listModel.getMaxSelectionIndex()
    && leadIndex == listModel.getMinSelectionIndex())
    //change currency on the bound iterator only if
    //one row is being selected.
    defSelModel.setSelectionInterval(leadIndex, leadIndex);
    ListSelectionModel newModel = new DefaultListSelectionModel();
    newModel.setSelectionMode(ListSelectionModel.MULTIPLE_INTERVAL_SELECTION);
    newModel.addListSelectionListener(new MultiSelectionListListener(tbl.getSelectionModel()));
    tbl.setSelectionModel(newModel);
    This fixes the bug if you select some rows and then select a row before the first selected one. Seems to work great.

  • How can I have multiple-selection list box "select at least one checkbox" option active only when the section it's in is visible?

    Hi, I'm using SP13 and InfoPath2013.
    I created a custom form and published it to SP13 document library.  This form has many MSLB.  Depending on the checkboxes selected in the 1st MSLB, the other MSLB will either hide or show.  Each MSLB is in its own section.  The requirement
    is to have each MSLB to have at least one checkbox selected.  Well, the problem is that when that MSLB isnot checked in the 1st MSLB it is not visible and shouldn't require any checkbox to be selected.  However, the form can't get submitted instead
    an error dialog would pop up and ask user to make a selection for MSLB that is not even displayed.  Is there any way to fix this besides unchecking all MSLB to be not required at least one selection?  Thank you.

    Eric,
    I follow your reply post here and still doesn't work.  I also noticed your screen shot of selecting a field is not the same as what I see in InfoPath 2013.
    Here is what I did,
    1.Check At least one selection required for
    these Multiple-selection List Boxes
    as you want .
    2.Create a Formatting  rule for the 2nd
    Multiple-selection List Box.
    3.Add a  Condition as below:
    4.  I get a validation error if I don't
    select at least one checkbox in the hidden MSLB control when submitting.
    I think I'm following all the steps correctly
    but please let me know if I'm not.

  • JTable Multiple Selection

    Hi,
    I am having a problem with the jTable's multiple selection.
    I apply cell renderers on a table's cells and also apply cell selection model on the table. I want to have mutliple row selection but I only get single selection.
    Could someone please explain why that is?
    Thanks

    Hello,
    Please edit your post and use proper tags.
    +if (table.getSelectedRow() == row) {+
    From the JTable API Javadoc:
    getSelectedRow()
    Returns the index of the first selected row, -1 if no row is selected.
    So this only returns +one+ index among all those selected.
    You could use <tt>getSelectedRows()</tt> (notice the +s+ !) instead, but there's a much better approach: guess what the +isSelected+ argument to <tt>getTableCellRendererComponent(...)</tt> stands for :o)
    Regards.

  • Switched from Samsung Note 2 to iphone 6. Faced Difficulties while sending message. [1]Multiple Selection of receipients is not available. Eg. If I click plus, it shows me all the contacts but i cannot select multiple contacts using checkbox

    Phone : IPhone 6
    OS : 8.1
    Problem Statement : Multiple Selection of Recipients while drafting New Message in SMS.
    Expected Solution : Checkbox should have been provided to select multiple contacts using one screen

    Thanks for the reply.. I also tried that way.. I face couple of issues
    1) I could not find an option of saving a Draft Message
    2) After multiple recipients(I have selected 12 recipients) in "TO" section, if I type a word in "TO" such as "Pre", it shows me all the contacts containing "Pre"  but I cannot select the last contact incase there are more than 20 contacts coz I am unable to scroll down till the end.. If I do so.. I cannot select coz screen scrolls up automatically..
    Pls try ... If required I will insert video

    How do we create multiple selection checkboxes?
    here is the more detailed description of what I want:
    which of the next five days they would like to park, via a number of
    checkboxes (important: it must be possible to make multiple
    selections here you must find out yourself how this is done, its not in
    the handout!). The labels on the checkboxes should show the day of

    Any other date information (such as the year) is optional.
