Multiple sender

Hello everyone,
IN my business scenario, ther are 5 different types of input data from single sender in single queue
Is it possible to implement this type of interface without BPM?
I dont want to add them or merge them, They would be treated as a seperate single data in interface and send to single receiver.
I have created one mapping incorporating five messages as a sender and one receiver. In interface mapping i have used five message interface and used the single mapping... but I am getting error while testing the interface mapping.
I believe I am making mistake at some point.
Is enhanced receiver determination could help in this situation. Was trying to read documents but it looks that enh rec deter would be used when we need to decide receiver dynamically and not for source...
Thanks

Hi,
I must correct myself.
With just 1 sender for all your interfaces, you will need to have a condition to determine which interface the message belongs.  The condition is an XPath expression testing a value in the payload to determine which interface should be used.
In your case, since there is only 1 receiver, you must have this condition in the Interface Determination, where you will have 5 different mappings.
In order for this to work, the source interface must be similar, at least enough so that the XPath condition can be used.
So, you will 1 Receiver Determination, with 1 Sender Agreement, and 1 sender comm chan, but you will have 5 Interface Determinations.
If the source documents are nothing alike, then you will have to have 5 different JMS queus.  And, set up the whole process as 5 completely different interfaces.
I hope I am no confusing you even more.

Bill

  • Processing the multiple sender xml one by one in a time gap to RFC

    Dear Experts,
I have to process the multiple sender xml file one by one from FTP to RFC in time gap.
    For Ex:
I will place 10 xml file in a FTP path at a  time, PI is picking 10 file at a time and process it to RFC at a time.
Any other way to process the multiple file one by one through PI in a time gap to RFC
(i,e) PI needs to process the 10 files one by one, once the first file processed successfully from FTP to RFC then the next file to process in a time gap to avoid getting the error in RFC.
Kindly suggest your ideas or share some links how to process this multiple files.
    Best Regards,
    Monikandan.

    Hi Monikandan,
You can use CE BPM with PI 7.1 But first check the suggestion of Anupam in the below thread:
reading file sequentially from FTP using SAP PI file adapter

  • Multiple Send not shown in SENT TO column

    Hello,
I have just purchased a new iMac with Os X 10.4.10 (Mail 2.1.1)
I now find that if I send an email to multiple users, when I then click on SENT, the TO column only shows the name of the first recipient, with no indication that anyone else was sent to. On my old iMac with OS X 10.3.9 (Mail 1.3.11) it would show a few of the recipients (depending on the TO column width) followed by " ..." clearly indicating a multiple send.
Am I doing something wrong? This is very misleading.
    Thanks
    barry

    Hello Barry.
I don’t remember how it worked in Mail 1.x, and cannot check it now, but I can tell you that what you’re observing is normal behavior in Mail 2.x — or at least, that’s what I observe as well.

  • Multiple  sender file

    Hi,
I have a file to file scenario a bit particular.
There is a unique receiver file communication channel.
Howerver, I must to create multiple file sender communications channels because sender ftp servers are different (and very numerous ! ).
There is any way to avoid configurate so many receiver determination and interface determination, to implement a multiple sender scenario ?
    Thanks, in advance

    Hi, Udo,
I'm trying your solution, but I must have an error and i don't find it.
In an scenario N senders (N business service) to 1 receiver (business system called TPV):
    Receiver Determination
    Sender service  :  *
    Sender interface : MI_OUTB
    Receiver party :   (none)
    Receiver service :  TPV
    Configured receivers: Service TPV
    Interface Determination :
    Sender service  :  *
    Sender interface : MI_OUTB
    Receiver party :   (none)
    Receiver service :  TPV
    Inbound interface: MI_INB
    Receiver Agreement :
    Sender service  :  *
    Receiver party :   (none)
    Receiver service :  TPV
    Receiver interface: MI_INB
Also I have created several Business Services with CC and Sender agreements.
    And I have 2 problems:
Receiver determination doesn't recognize Interface Determination and REceiver agreement in Configuration Overview
    Error RCVR_DETERMINATION">NO_RECEIVER_CASE_ASYNC in Monitor.
    Please, I need your help.
    Thanks, in advance

  • Multiple Send Mail Steps

    Hi All,
I want to have multiple send mail steps (around 100) in my Workflow. But whenever create a step it creates a new Standard task. I do not want to create so many of them.
Is there any way I can minimise that ? Consider that each send mail steps will have different Subject and body.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Debabrata Mohanty

    Hi Sanju,
Thanks for the reply. I have to send miltiple mails to multiple people at multiple stages (Not at the same time).
The subject and body are different for different mail. I could have used dynmic variables from worklfow container.
But the subject and body are descriptive texts more than even 1000 characters.
I thought of creating multiline string variables. But again we can not format the paragraph, punctuating and all in the
body part if I only bind dynamic variables from workflow container.
    Hope you got the problem.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Deb

  • Human workflow Multiple Send Addresses removal

We have configured Multiple Send Addresses by setting ASNSDrivers attribute in SOA suite 11.1.1.5 PS4 as per the Administration guide.
There are scenarios where we are required to remove/delete some of the addresses.
    How do we do that?

    Hi Andrew,
That's correct, you would need to know all the email addresses if you are using my above approach.
If you can use another field to populate the 30 odd email addresses in a single line in the format I mentioned in my previous post. Although, I don't see any easy way of doing that, OOD does not provide a function to replace a charcter in the expression builder.
Please let me know if you are able to get this working.
    Thanks,
    Royston

  • How do setup multiple send and receive domain on single virtual ironport?

    HI all
how do i setup multiple send and receive domain on single virtual ironport?
    Daemien

Please use the admin guide to assist you for setup/configuration:
    http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/security/esa/esa8-0/user_guide/ESA_8-0-1_User_Guide.pdf
On the VESA - the Recipient Access Table (RAT) will control which domains your appliance accepts for.
AsyncOS uses a Recipient Access Table (RAT) for each public listener to manage accept and reject actions for recipient addresses. Recipent addresses include these:
    •Domains
    •Email addresses
    •Groups of email addresses
This is covered in detail in the "Overview of Accepting or Rejecting Connections Based on the Recipient’s Address" section.
Please see the "Configuring the Gateway to Receive Email" section for configuration of appliance for domains.
Please see the "Defining Which Hosts Are Allowed to Connect Using the Host Access Table (HAT)" section for configuration of appliance for sending.
    I hope this helps!

  • Mail.app and multiple sender addresses?

I'm trying to figure out if Mail.app can be configured to have multiple sender addresses like Thunderbird can. The reason for this because I want to use "+" address for mailing lists.
Let me explain so there is no confusion. I sign up for a mailing list using the e-mail address: <username>+<listname>@gmail.com
I have setup Mail.app to connect to Gmail via pop and can download and send e-mail fine using <username>@gmail.com. However I need to be able to send e-mail as <username>+<listname>@gmail when I'm replying or posting to those mailing lists.
I can't seem to find a way in Mail.app to let me change who I'm sending as. Does anyone have a Mail.app solution to this problem?

    Hello,
I never saw your original post.
I have not tried this specifically with a Gmail account, but don't see why it wouldn't work. See the Mail Help and the following Support doc link for email aliases:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302215
Those about .mac aliases do not apply.

  • Can I have multiple "send from" email accounts in iCloud like I had in MobileMe?

I was using MobileMe to receive mail I was having forwarded from another (non-MobileMe) email account, and I had MobileMe set up so that I could also send mail "from" that account. I am still receiving that mail fine, but that separate "send from" account disappeared, and I don't see an option to create one. All I see is the option to create aliases, which isn't exactly what I'm looking for. Has anyone else run into this?
I access my mail through the iCloud website on multiple machines.

In fact you weren't using MobileMe to send 'From' the other account, you were using the web page to send using that account's SMTP server (MobileMe's own server only allowed the use of its own addresses).
That facility is not available in iCloud, and similarly you can send using only your @me.com/@mac.com address as the 'From' address.

  • Is there a way to choose multiple "send to" addresses at the same time?

I would like to send mass e-mails to different people from my contact list for different topics, picking the addresses each time rather than using a group.  I have found the " + " sign for accessing the contact list, but I can't figure out how to select more than one address at a time (and then having to go back to the " + " sign to select the next contact, etc.  Is there a way to choose the contacts you want to include in a send field in ONE step like we used to be able to do in the last version of this app?

Is there a way to choose the contacts you want to include in a send field in ONE step like we used to be able to do in the last version of this app?
No. You can kind of do it by dragging from the Contacts app, but the default address (first in list, I think) will be used. I you have contacts with multiple email addresses, you’d have to go to each in the address field and select the correct one.

  • Problems trying to correlate BAM over multiple Send Ports

I am having an issue with BAM in BizTalk 2010.  I have a Messaging only solution using 3 Receive Ports and 3 Send Ports.  The Processing received an XML file which contains Inventory updates for product items.  The flow is as follows:
    1) Receive a file via a send port.  The file is mapped via an inboud map to canonical form which includes inbound filename. The inbound message contains a DocumentId.
    2) Send msg file via a send port filtered on 1). This port demotes the source filename into the outbound message.
    3) Receive the file written by 2).  Flatten the message on into multiple records and strip the file path from the source file name.  This means each record is the same with the exception of PartNumber and Inventory Level.
    4) Send the message received by 3) to a SQL database via the WCF-Custom adapter.  The Adapter calls a stored procedure that reads the flattened messages out of the XML and inserts them into a Staging table.
    5) A WCF-SQL receive port reads the messages 1024 at a time from the staging table and submits them to the MessageBox.
    6) A WCF-SQL send port filters the messages received from 5) and submits them to another database which updates inventory figures.
I have a BAM Activity which records:
DocumentId, VendorId,  TotalItemsProcessed, InboundFileName, ReceivedTime, PreProcessedTime, StagedTime, and ProcessedTime.
DocumentId, VendorId, TotalItemsProcessed are read from the inbound message on 1)
InboundFileName is read from inbound message on 3)
       ReceivedTime - PortEndTime on 1)
       PreProcessedTime - PortEndTime on 2)
InboundFileName - InboundFileName on Message received on 3)
      StagedTime - PortEndTime on 4)
       ProcessedTime - PortEndTime on 6)
Because there are multiple ports I have to create multiple continuations in the TPE.  They are as follows:
    Cont1 - InterchangeId on ReceivePort for 1)
Cont1 - InterchageId on Send Port for 2)
I believe this should get me all the text data items except InboundFileName, ReceivedTime, and PreProcessedTime
    Cont2 - DocumentId from 1)
    Cont2 - DocumentId from 3)
This should get me the InboundFileName
    Cont3 - InterchangeId from 3)
    Cont3 - InterchangeId from 4)
This should be me the StagedTime
    Cont4 -  InterchangeId from 5)
    Cont4 - InterchangeId from 6)
My problem is - everything seems to work except Cont4.  I query the <ActivityName>_AllInstances Vew in BAMPrimaryImport.  I see a record with all the data except ProcessedTime with a single ActivityId.  It records the ProcessedTime
in the  table but under a different ActivityId.  I can look in the TrackedMessageEvents and see the messages for 5) and 6).  They have the same InterchangeId.  I even used one of the text data items to record the InterchangeId of the 6)
message and it was the same as 5) except for the GUID was lowercase versus uppercase in MessageTracking.
I am at a loss and would appreciate any help.

I am not calculating a time duration.  I am reporting the Port End Time.  Merely a measure.  That is not the problem.  As I stated, I am getting the port end time, just in a separate record.

  • Exchange 2007 Multiple Send Connector Cost Best Practice

    Hi,<o:p></o:p>
I am running exchange 2007 SP2 and have 2x exchange connectors set up with an equal default cost of 1.<o:p></o:p>
Connector 1 is set to * address space and should forward all emails to two email security/management servers<o:p></o:p>
Connector 2 is set to a internal sub domain server whose purpose is to file the emails on a CMS.  Emails are marked for "filing" when
the Outlook plugin adds the connector 2's subdomain address into the bcc field.<o:p></o:p>
What I want to clarify is if I was to change the cost of Connector 1 to 0 would all mail then only be routed via this connector?<o:p></o:p>
I presume it would ignore the 2nd connector because the 1st connector's address space is *  and thus no emails would route through connector
2 and therefore be filed to CMS ?<o:p></o:p>
What would the best practice be for the costs of each connector ??<o:p></o:p>
    Thanks<o:p></o:p>
    Mat<o:p></o:p>

I don't believe that 0 is a valid cost for a connector (I get an error if I try to see a connector with that).  If you have two connectors, Exchange will send to the one that matches the address space most correctly.  If you had no second connector,
connector 1 would attempt delivery to your CMS.  Since you have that second connector, those messages will be delivered by it.
Connector costs are normally used when you have multiple connectors with the SAME address space, and allows Exchange to fail from one to another when the preferred is not operational for some reason.  For example, if you have an ISDN line as your backup
Internet connection, you want to give connectors that use it a higher cost than your MPLS connections use.
I'll add that in most environments I've worked for the past several years, this redirection is handled at the network layer rather than the application layer.

  • Multiple sender - Using BPM

    Hi,
I have 4 file senders to send message of same structure to BPM to process it.
There is no corelation between the messages.
But I am wondering, will it work, if I add multiple receivers using fork step and initiating each one as 'start process'?
Can we have multiple receivers in BPM with any corelation?
    Please advice
    Thanks,
    Karthik
Edited by: Karthik Kaveriselvan on May 31, 2009 10:10 AM

But we need not bundle the messages.
agreed....but since the messages are coming from different sources and if you need to collsct the messages separately you will need to define correlation
As you mentioned that the messages have the same structure...check if you can cheat the BPM and use the following concept...not sure whether it will work...give it a try:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/08/16163ff8519a06e10000000a114084/content.htm
The only reason of having two senders in the same BPM, the way these messages to be treated are same.
could not make what you exactly mean by the above statement.
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • What is SAP recommended approach to create multiple Sender Idoc_AAE adapters channels?

    Hi All,
We have more than 100 interfaces which receives Idocs from multiple SAP ECC Systems. What is the best approach to use Idoc_AAE sender adapter with multiple communication channels for One system and for multiple SAP systems as well.
    Q) How many communication channels we can assign or bind to one Resource Adapter(Assume InboundRA)?
    Q) What is performance impact if we create more Resource Adapter to Connect multiple SAP System?
Please share your views to create multiple Idoc_AAE sender communication channels to connect one SAP ECC Systems?
    Regards,
    Sreeramulu Konjeti.

Hi Vertika - It should work without changing the occurrence as it's on the sender side...
In your mapping, you would receive all the IDOC's though the occurrence is 0..1...
Just simply paste the payload in the test tab and see.. it should not throw any error..

  • Multiple sender agreements mean multiple receiver detr??

I have several JMS Channels that will be process thru one BPM.  Is there a way to combine the JMS Channels into one or several
Sender Agreements / Receiver determination?  Or will multiple Config's be required?
    Thank you.

    Parimala,
    <i>Would I need 70 receiver determination records?</i>
Unfortunately you will have to do that
Reason: Receiver Determination is associated with SENDER INTERFACE and as you have 70 SENDER INETRAFCES / 70 SENDER AGREEMENTS, you wil have to have 70 receiver determination.
Just look into the possiblity of cutting down on the number of Communication Channels and cominbing all 70 comm channels into a lesser number.

    Bhavesh
