Multiple transform/assigns for one variable - is this possible?

Hi,
What I am trying to do is read in a complex XML file. Transform some data, add some other data from another source and update a table in the database with all data.
So currently I read in the XML file.
Do one big transform to map the majority of data to the input variable of my database adapter.
I then call a stored procedure to get some ID values.
I have then been trying to add these ID's to the input variable of my database adapter. Tried both transform and assign, but these seem to overwrite the big transform which I previously did.
Is it possible to update the same variable in more than one transform without overwriting the values set previously?

I've tried playing around with the <bpelx:insertAfter> command referring to your Blog.
I have a couple of questions, perhaps you could help me with them.
1. I noticed that once I have added this command into the .bpel file I get an error within the designer view. Is this to be expected or am I doing something wrong?
2. Is it possible to specify the XML tag which is used and also use an XPath query?

When I tested this it did add and element with the correct value as expected, however the XML tags were <GET_VALUE> as specified in my query section of the from command. Is there anyway to use a different value for the tags?
I currently get <GET_VALUE>99</GET_VALUE>
I would like to use <TRANS_ID>99</TRANS_ID>

    I've created my first set of variables (using Form Properties>Variables), tweeked some XML sourcecode  and they're working .
    What I'm now trying to figure out is how to have one variable that has 2 values that pop up in 2 different text fields.
    Simple form at this point:
    Item, Model and Service Tag.
    The user selects the item from the drop down list and the Service Tag field is autopopulated from the variables I set.
    How do I get the Model to appear based on the Item selection?
    I tried putting the two values for one variable together but both values appear in the same field.
    Variable info that works: Scan (variable) = MC3090BT (value)
    I also need this particular variable to = Handheld scanner (try to ignore the redundancy).
    I attempted to make MC3090BT as it's own variable with Handheld scanner as it's value, and add to the code below but it didn't work.

    Hi, I am trying to do the same thing..passing multiple values to receiving query variable through RRI.  Right now if I assign a query variable of type multiple single values it does not take any value.  It works only if I assign variable of type Single Value.
    In my assignment details the sender query has Generic for type and * for selection type. 
    If any one knows how to pass multiple values to receiving RRI query,  please give the details.

    we have some tasks coming from our back- end system. When a certain task needs to be substituted to a colleague, no problem ... for one task. When we wish to assign him a second task, we get following message :

    Is substitution only limited to one task per person? What would be a workaround? It's possible to create for each combination of tasks a definition in the back- end which is available from the substition drop down list, but this is not what our customer would like to see.

    I have created one Purchase order with multiple account assignment for Asset 'A' in which freight cost is added.
    I have done good receipt in which only material document is generated. (No financial document generated).
    While doing the MIRO for the same Purchase order I m not able to view delivery cost for the same.
    I  check this thing in SDN but no concrete solution ..
    My question is how to capture delivery cost in Multiple account assignment Purchase roder

    Hi,
    You have done goods receipt for Asset PO but no accounting document created. Now cross check in t.code:OME9 and find GR Non-Valuated check box selected which cause your concern on why your accounting document created for goods receipt for Asset PO!
    Check how delivery cost designed for your Asset Purchase, may be in your case - delivery cost added  to your asset purchase- which result, you could not find delivery cost in invoice posting!

    We are trying to implement multiple free goods for one item in standalone CRM.
    As per SAP.help.com, it says that we can configure multiple free goods scenario in standalone CRM system.
    We tried to set up this in our system.  Basically we want to implement the scenario, where a user wants to  purchase item A, he should get a prompt for choosing between two free goods  B and C.
    We did the relevant IMG settings required for Free goods at  IMG ->CRM -> Basic Functions -> Free Goods.-> Set up Free Goods
    We also did the relevant item category determination where we have made an entry with
    Item Usage = " Free Goods" , Main item cat. = "TAN' , Item Category = "TANN".
    Now we went to create condition records in the path  "SAP Menu -> Master Data -> Prices and Conditions -> SAPCND/GCM - Maintain condition"
    We chose Application ="PRT", MaintenanceGrp="PRT_FGOODS", Maintenance context ="GCM"
    Then while creating conditon records , when I try to create two condition records where the Main Product is same but free good product is different, the system is not allowing to save these two condition records.
    it is giving error "Overlapping validity periods for two condition records".
    Please advice, if i am missing something. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Free goods are not supported in combinations with material structures (for example, product selection, BOM, variants with BOM explosion).

    we have a business requirement that to issue multiple free products for one main product, if the upliftment is beyond the specified quantity.
    Using free goods functionality, is it possible to achive the above requirement.

  • Multiple account assignment for asset

    Hi,
    I had created PO with multiple account assignment for asset. PO is created with one line item having 5 qty and in multiple account assignment 5 assets are entered with qty distribution.
    I have issue with commitment distribution for all the account assignment. when i post migo(GR) the value is posting for only first one asset not for all.
    So in the purchase order for the remaining account assignment commitment remain left.

    1st check in OME9 t.code for account assignment A, the selection of 2(Multiple account ***)in field ID: AcctAssgt Scrn and Distribution field as 1.
    Then during PO creation for single line item  & in Item details TAB, in account assignment segment, you enter qty with asset number (A1) with G/L account for 1st Line and for 2nd line keep  qty. with asset number(A1) with  G/L account ( different G/L Account) OR enter  qty with asset number (A1) with G/L account for 1st Line and for 2nd line keep  qty. with another asset number(A2) with  G/L account (different G/L Account)

    Is it possible to show or view multiple album artwork for one song on an iPhone 4, especially on the now playing screen? I figured since iTunes has this feature then the iPhone should too. Can I download an app that does this? I've searched but couldn't find any, maybe I'm using other keywords. Could anyone point me in the right direction with this?

    After following the tutorial Building OLAP Cubes I was trying to make a cube with aggregation down to the day instead of down to the month.
    I created a times table pretty similar to the one used in the tutorial:

    I then created my TIME dimension with DAY as the lowest level.
    When I try the maintain cube option it fails at the 'LOAD NO SYNCH' step with the rejected records having an error message that says:
    ORA-35563: (XSRWLD17) Multiple values exist for an attribute of this dimension member.
    To me, this is a very cryptic message and the only explanation I find online is:
    Cause
    Multiple source table rows containing different values for a dimension attribute were found. Only the first of the multiple rows has been loaded.
    Action
    Fix the mapping or remove the rows with conflicting attribute values..
    This confuses me. In the tutorial the lowest level was day and the TIMES table contained 1 record for each day.
    In my example, the lowest level is hour and the TIMES table contains 1 record for each hour.
    Which attribute has multiple values? And which values?
    The rejected records (101) are not very clear:

    If anyone can help point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

    I have seen this recently. The issue is with the dimension load itself.  You have a hour level record table but the rules relating to hierarchy/attribute values etc are checked/reinforced during the load and this error comes up sometimes.
    I would guess that the issue seems to be with your month level information present in the higher level month columns. There are many records corresponding to a single month in ur case, month of Y2014M1. Information relating to Month level member Jan 2014 or member MONTH_Y2014M1 is present in these records: 31 (days) *24 (hours) = 744 records. The data in these 744 records for columns - MONTH_ID, MONTH_NAME, MONTH_END_DATE, MONTH_TIME_SPAN need to be exactly the same in order for the single member MONTH_Y2014M1 to have month attributes loaded with valid values.
    For e.g: if records #1 to #743 contain month_timespan=31 but for some unknown reason record #744 contains month_timespan=30 then this error will come up. OLAP does not know which value to load (31 or 30), and only 1 value can be loaded onto the month level member corresponding to month Y2014M1.
    A quick check of the data should give you the answer. Typically there may be some mistake/invalid assumptions made with the boundary records (in your case, check for values for records corresponding to hour=0 or hour=23/24) which is causing the issue.

    Hi,
    To create another instance of the same component you need to embed the same component under the Used Components more then once. For Example if you have Componet A to which you want to embed Component B then under "Used Components" of Component A add component B twice.

    No, you can only have one login.
    However, this is simple to resolve by creating a database link in one database to the other database.

    You can configure any value as lease duration; however if you want a very big/infinite value; it makes sense to convert the lease(s) to a reservation.

    Did the trick!  Not sure what I did to cause the screen to go numb, but this worked perfectly!!!  I cleaned the screen and must have inadvertently selected something that locked the screen.  This perfect solution kept me from having to run to the Apple Store.  Many thanks.

    You will lose the entire contents of your iDisk whether or not you migrate to MobileMe as there is no equivalent in iCloud and MobileMe will be terminated at the end of June. You will need to download any data which you don't have on your Mac already.
    Snow Leopard is not compliant with iCloud and most of the facilities will not work. You can migrate from MobileMe to iCloud at http://me.com/move even with Snow Leopard: when asked to confirm that your Mac is running Lion just lie and say 'yes'. Of course you won't be able to access iCloud directly from your Mac.
    If you have MobileMe mail set up to collect mail from external POP accounts you should cancel this before migrating, or you may find it still working in iCloud (where it isn't supposed to) and with no way of stopping it.
    This will be the situation with Snow Leopard when you have migrated:
    Your email, calendars, and 'Find my iPhone' will be migrated to iCloud. Contacts and Bookmarks cannot be migrated from a Snow Leopard Mac.
    Your iDisk, together with website hosting and Gallery, will continue to work as before until next June.
    Syncing of Dashboard Widgets, Dock Items and Keychains between Macs, and Mail Accounts, Mail Rules, System Preferences, Signatures & Smart Mailboxes between Macs & iOS devices, will cease altogether.

    There are a couple of third-party solutions which may be of interest.

    Soho Organizer can sync Calendars and Contacts with iCloud on Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion. A single user licence (multiple machines allowed) is $99.99.
