Muse 2014.3 - Why are Adobe staying silent ?

It turns out that I am one of many, many people complaining about the latest update of Muse, 2014.3.
It is slow, full of bugs, updating assets invariably crashes the application and even simple things like changing page titles in plan mode are taking 10-15 seconds per change, it is ridiculous.
Why are Adobe not answering any of these complaints on the forum ? Do you not realise we are paying for a product that we can barely use and is making our working lives near impossible ?
ANSWERS PLEASE ADOBE AND PREFERABLY A SERIOUS BUG FIX OR THE LAST RELEASE BACK AGAIN......

Hi,
The 'features' you refer to are not anything that a customer should really care about, so why don't you just turn them off.
Do you really care about "Location-based iAds" - I've hardly ever even seen iAds!
Do you really care about the time-zone updating based upon your international location - unless you are a very frequent traveller, this 'feature' is pretty useless and can be turned off without losing functionality that matters.
The specific features to turn off are indicated in my post above - they are all in one place, they can all be turned off in about 20 seconds, and your problem will go away, and you will not lose any important functionality.
Obviously I would agree with your point if you had to refrain from using the phone or making text messages, or playing games, or taking photos... all of which are genuinely useful features of a phone.
But I disagree with you that you should deny yourself reasonable battery life on the basis that you need the specific features that made you buy this "Apple product and not an Android one" when these features are in fact not first-line, or even-second line features... they are just 'things' that make very little difference to how a person would use their iPhone at all.
Anyway, that's my thoughts on it. Yes of course it would be great if Apple could fix the bug but as it isn't showstopping, I find it hard to get worked up about it

Why are Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 source and program monitors playing each others footage? I import my footage into the project like normal. I drag it to the source monitor on the left hand side to set in and out points then I drag it to the time line. The footage drops into the time line with no problem but when I go to play the footage in the time line it plays back on the source monitor and not on the program monitor like it is suppose to. Other times ill drag the clip to the time line and trim it there and it will be fine and show up on the program monitor. Then ill go try to set a clip to have in and out points (which is suppose to show up in the source monitor) but it shows up in the program monitor. The clip is not even in the time line it should not be on that monitor! I have updated the program to the late update. I have re installed the program numerous times and I have even ran the Adobe Clean up program. Couldn't find much on this problem. Please help thank you! I have a PC. My computer is also way over the recommended minimum specifications to have the program installed on.

Why are Adobes help utilities so hard to use?

Am I the only person who finds Adobes help features next to unusable? For instance all I wanted to do was add a horizontal line in Muse. In Muse I clicked on help and got taken to the Adobe help page which is really just a freakin sales page! On that page I find a search link so I click on it and type in "Insert Horizontal line" I get replies from all of their products instead of just Muse where I clicked on the help button originally.
How about I get context sensitive and application aware results only. As is I find the help totally unhelpful and all it does is foster disdain for their products. From now on I won't use Adobe for help at all and will stick with Google. Or is that the point? Is Adobe intentionally driving customers away from their web site? Not a good business model IMHO.
Either way I find Adobes help pages are anything but helpful.

Once you tap on New list, it gives you the option to name the list. If you look, you can see the insertion point blinking. Once you select a color and name the list, tap done, and it will bring it up on the screen to start adding reminders.

Why are Adobe CC programs killing my Win7 Taskbar?

I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64bit, which runs just fine, until I run an Adobe CC App, specifically Premier Pro CC. Then, on the next rebot, my task bar loads incorrectly. It appears to operate, but not fully and it does not display properly at all. It is transperant, but the icons in the bar are not distinguishable, there are no window previews, and the start button in the corner is much smaller, does not display proerly, and is indistinguishable (other than it's location on the taskbar.) If you click on the blob that resides in the start button location, the start menu does appear.
The only fix I've found is to restore to a previous restore point. This fixes the problem until the Adobe application is run again. Then on the next boot, it's jacked up again. Anyone else having these problems? Is this a known issue and is there a simple fix?

I cancelled a product I no longer used. I stopped using it a couple years ago. They love taking your money, and they love sending emails, but notice they NEVER send an email thanking you for another year's subscription when it might alert you to the fact they just jacked your bank account for another year on a product you're no longer using. But that's on me. Fine. So I managed to catch the charge within a day of it processing. I cancelled the product. I was promised a refund. Weeks went by.
No refund.
So I used the only method of communication that seems available, chat. Via chat I am promised this will be corrected. I will receive my refund in a few days. Weeks went by.
No refund.
So I went back to the chat. This time they said something about increasing the "priority" (how about just sending me the damn money?) of my case. They said I would receive an email update on the status of my case. Days went by.
No refund.
So I am back a third time on the chat right now. Gauranteed another hour of the run around. Hey moron Adobe thieves, I'm costing your company more in labor than if you'd just send me my damn refund. And I will not stop. If I have to sue you I will. I have more time than money.

See, personally following up on it. "Relevant team" are working on this. Working hard I'm sure. Because it takes A WHOLE TEAM A MONTH TO PROCESS ONE REFUND.

Why are Adobe forums being shared?

I'll admit I'm old fashioned and don't use or trust social networks much, but do we really need our requests for help with Adobe products being so easily shared with all of these companies? (Listed below, copied from the share module on the left of the content list) Is Adobe getting kickbacks from them or something? This seems to have no real benefit to the users of the help forums. If someone really wants to share a post, can't they just copy the url like we did in the good ole days before fbook? I don't remember anything in the privacy policy about my posts appearing on facebook and every other frickin social network on the planet.
These forums should allow knowledgeable people to be able to easily find our questions AND be able to easily reply to them so we can get on with our work.
Lose the stupid social and share crap already and focus on a forum that works properly.

Yea, I'm guessing probably to many links and they didn't want to check them all out as being safe or something. Okay I get that. But maybe just strip the anchor tag and leave the text next time? Kinda lost my entire point without them.
I know the posts show up on google, I use that resource to find answers and have no problem with that, but I've never even heard of 1/4 of these so called social sites. One of my concerns is that if someone answers a tough question that started here at one of those sites then we could be left for weeks, months, etc. without an answer to something we are following here, unless of course you also follow that particular site.
The share module is up right of the first post. Click the more link to see them all. I've copied those 300 companies/links again and will try to paste again as plain text. Sorry they were all bunched together, I separated a few and stopped cause it's taking so long. But this gives you an idea of what i mean. To be fair not all are companies, i.e. print, mail, etc. It just seems like a fad to add these social plugins to sites and I don't get it. I hope it wont hurt the function of the forum just so fbook and twitter gets more hits.

Why are Adobe fonts shipped with tabular lining figures as default?

I'm just curious to know why this is still the case? Even in typeface clearly for text like Minion, or sans like Myriad, or new ones like Source Sans and Serif?

But on a more serious note, even with serif text faces designed for text, most designers expect (1) that digits by default have the same widths and line up, (2) that if one changes from one font to another, the default behavior of digit lineup won't change, and (3) tastes - not everyone likes the look of proportional width digits or even old style digits when available.

Why are Adobe Flash Player scripts freezing?

I've noticed in the last week or two my scripts for Adobe Flash Player completely freezing up. After a full five minutes of freezing, I get a general warning that:
"A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"
"become" unresponsive? lol Anyway, even after I click "yet", it still takes a least another five minutes before it unfreezes. Now, I used to problems with Jave scripts, but those wouldn't take tens-of-minutes to abort. I've literally had Adobe Flash Player scripts freezes for 15 minutes at a time leaving my browser completely unresponsive.
It all happened after updating my plug-ins. I've tried messing around with them, disabling them all. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash player and making sure I had the right version for my old-ish operating system (Windows XP). That seemed to work for one session, but it's back to freezing after logging into places like mail.com.
Is anyone else having this problem? Is this a plug-in issue? How can be be remedied?

Unfortunately, this is not my problem. I can video videos on sites like Youtube, just find. The scripts freeze up on random pages. Basically, anywhere with ads that use Adobe Flash Player. It didn't use to do this.

Why is Adobe Muse 2014 reverting to the trial version?

I loaded up Muse this morning and it told me there was an update, so I downloaded Adobe Muse 2014. When I try to load it, it goes into trial mode. If I say I want to licence it, it asks for a serial number. I don't remember having a serial for Muse, it just logs in with my Adobe ID. The old version still works fine, but the new one keeps bring up the trial version screen.
I've tried to chat with an Adobe rep twice but both times have been told it's a 'technical' issue and I will be transferred to the relevant department. That's when the chat goes dead. I just want some help getting Muse 2014 to work!

Okay, I have this sorted now. These are the steps it needs, should it happen to anyone else.
1. Click on the "Finder" icon. Select the "Applications" folder
2. Open the "Utilities" folder and select "Terminal"
3. Type the following.
sudo nano /private/etc/hosts
4. Enter the OS user's associated password when prompted
5. If any entries in the host file include keywords such as "ims" or "adobe," please delete those entries.
6. Press control+o to save the file
7. Press control+x to close the file
8. After the nano dialog closes, type the following in the Terminal window and hit the "Return" key
dscacheutil -flushcache

Why is part of the page cut off in Adobe Muse 2014?

I installed Adobe Muse 2014 and experiencing a few issues. The Master pages are cut off at the bottom of Plan page. When I go into design, some of the toolbar is cut off & I can't access icons. When I go to page properties, the box opens up at the top left of the screen with only the bottom right of the page properties tool box showing. I don't have any scroll bars available (assuming they're cut off just as the toolbar) When I click to expand options, empty boxes flash and nothing shows up. I did not have these issues until I uploaded widgets from the library.

It may have been rasterized (during flattening) if it interacted with any object containing transparency.
Placing the text on a unique (InDesign) layer would alleviate such interactive flattening.

Open Question to Adobe - Why Should I Stay?

Okay, there are now thousands of posts complaining about Adobe Creative Cloud. There are over 31,000 signatures gathered in protest. So far, Adobe is eerily silent. So I am asking Adobe, why should I stay with you? Why? Why should I use Creative Cloud at $600 a year when I have been updating my Creative Suite about every other year for $700 (that's $350 per year)? Why should I stay with you when you do not seem to be responding to your customer's complaints? Why should i stay with you when you act as if everyone is so very happy with Creative Cloud and you seem to be ignoring the uproar as if it is not even happening? Why should I stay with you when you act more and more like a monopoly that is strangling its customers? I am a professional that has used your products for almost fifteen years. Why on earth should I stay with you?
Others are invited to post but I am curious if Adobe will ever respond to this.

Do you know a little bit of marketing rules?
Do you know, how difficult it is to bring some one to action - espec. protest?
Do you know about the % returning of feedback surveys (compareable... = 2-5 %)?

These subscribers in the last Q are because they spared all their new features to their "great CC day" on June 17th and because the discounts for CS6 users will end soon.
These numbers (and in my eyes they are anything else than good) are a result of their forcing evil plan.
They will drop down in August, when their are no longer discounts for CS6 users. We will see.
Also let´s wait on the numbers, when they have to rise prices, and there is no longer income from CS6.

If you think, there will be no users who will replace Adobe with competitors - I´m one of them.
Always was working parallel with QuarkXPress (and I like a lot - faster than InDesign - espec. in case of big documents (lots of text)). Also OWN the lifelong Right to use my Apple Video solutions (and thinking about investing to Avid now). My FreeHand still is running (also faster than Illustrator - even it is so old) ang still good for 95% of Vector Graphic. In case of Web-Design I have no great problem - Flash is slowly dying and competition is given. The only App not 100% replaceable is PS. But if it´s necessary, my MasterCollections will work the next 10 years on their actual MAC PROs (or virtualization). There is nothing I´m missing of their overwhelming solution.
If I would estimate: CS6 will become the WIN XP of Adobe. It will still survive over decades

Adobe Muse (2014.3) "Add Web Font" Function Not Working As Expected - Newly Added Fonts Become Unavailable Though Shown

I've been having some odd/irregular issues though they have now become fairly predictable in nature. The issue is in regards to Adobe Muse (2014.3) and the availability of web fonts provided through the applications "Add Web Fonts" feature. Once added they perform as expected but then become "unavailable." Full details below. I have been a Creative Cloud Complete subscriber for a number of years so am fairly familiar with the way in which the system works minus a few issues that have popped up now and then, this one included.
System Info:
Adobe Creative Cloud (Full Subscription): Version 1.9.1.474
Adobe Muse: Version 2014.3
OS X Yosemite: 10.10.2
Here is a recap of what has been taking place. I'll detail the bug as best I can.
1. Created new Adobe Muse project. Everything normal.
2. Chose to add a new font through the "Add Web Fonts" function within Muse. A note, my Creative Cloud App is running/open at all times (in file synch mode).
3. Chose new fonts using above. All seemed fine (see screenshots below).
4. Fonts also were indicated as being "Synched" within Creative Cloud (screenshot below).
5. As expected the two fonts were added to the list of available Web Fonts within Muse (first screenshot below - left). I added them successfully to my site. Well after a number of hours I went back to this same font selection menu within Muse and the fonts were still visible yet the sub-menu that one would expect showing various forms (i.e. Bold, Italic, etc) was not available. In a sense the font could not be chosen from the list even though the name is clearly visible (second screenshot below - right).
Have no idea what may have been wrong. Saved Muse project, closed and reopened - nothing changed. Created new project - fonts still "shown" in menu but can't be used. Did find a vague description using Google of similar problem (different application) which recommended closing Creative Cloud Desktop App and reopening as one possible solution. This DID WORK initially yet the problem, though corrected for a period of time (few hours at most), would reappear again where one would again see yet not be able to choose from the two Web Fonts. Went so far as to uninstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop application and reinstalling. Still have not solved the problem.
Any thoughts as to what this may be would be welcome. Restarting the CC app each and every time the fonts become unavailable is quite time consuming to my workflow.

Thank you for the reply. Wanted to comment on a few things.
I reviewed the other post that you've referenced. Nothing unusual jumped out at me as something that I was not aware of. I'm running an older iMac that is in good working condition. 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 24" screen. I know this issue is fleeting, as I stated earlier typically can be corrected with a restart of the CC Desktop application (that I am always running at startup). I have not been able to determine that shutting down Muse corrects the issue. I would, at this time say it doesn't.
I did open InDesign and see if the fonts in question, Open Sans and Open Sans Condensed, were present and usable. They were. The fonts are shown as being synched in my CC Desktop app window (even if they are not "installed" in Muse). That is expected but it may be a bug in how Muse brings in a font from those that are already synched to your CC account. I don't know enough about how that works to comment.
And just to complicate matters, Muse seems to be working again, the fonts that is. I brought them back in and they are showing up in all locations (which there are actually three - see screen shots).
First is primary text menu dropdown (to right of orange "Text").
Second is if you click orange Text link. Another drop down menu appears.
And lastly, the Text Panel to right of screen.
I also wanted to add this extra bit of information, for what it is worth. When the issue arises and you do not get the sub-menu dropdown showing various styles of the font (italics, bold, etc.), one can use click on the missing font if you had used it previously and it is present in the "previously used font" list.
