Mutiple copies printing

Hi
We are using XML 5.6.2. Our user wants to print the AR Invoices in four copies. If the Invoice have 10 lines, we are printing in two pages. User wants prints like
Page 1, Page1, Page1, Page1, Page2, Page2, Page2, Page2.
Is there any workaround to print the Invoice as requested by my user?

Hi Tim,
I am working on invoice report in which each invoice will display 1 original + 3 copies. I am using below logic:
<?for-each@section: G_INVOICE?>
original invoice copy
page break (not the section break)
Copy1
page break
Copy2
page break
Copy3
<?end for-each?>
If invoice displays in 2 pages, original copy page numbers are starting with 1. But first invoice copy page number is starting with 3 and second invoice copy page number is starting with 5.....and so on. But i want each invoice copy should start with page number 1.
Is there any work arround to start the each copy page number with 1? This is very urgent and this issue is escalated by client. Pls let me know if there is there any solution for this.

Hi,
I think multiple printing is just the same in printing a single document instead you must print all the document. In single printing you can see only see only one document, in multiple printing you can click the next button to see all the document or print them all.

I noticed that your Scans/Copies print out as black sheets with no images on them. I am sorry to hear this, but happy to look into this issue for you!
For further assistance, I will require some additional information:
The Product/Model Number of your printer. Follow instructions in this link. Finding Your HP Product Model Number.
If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, Ethernet, or USB.
If the printer is able to make copies.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.

Printer Dialog Box with No. of copies & Print Range.

I am trying to print a report(oracle) from a form (using a custom PRINT button) and wanted the printer dialog box to appear, for which I used the "WIN_API_DIALOG.SELECT_PRINTER(prtname, port, true)" API in the "When button pressed trigger".
But this API only takes care of a printer change, my issue here is how do I capture the changes pertaining to Orientation, Number of Copies, Print range etc. I know there is the "Properties - Advanced" option in the printer dialog box but changing values there doesn't help, as I had already mentioned the API passes only printer name.
So, if any one has faced a similar issue and has a solution,
PLEASE RESPOND IMMEDIATELY !!!

Unfortunatley there is no way to give Forms that information. The printer dialog in D2kwutil is only designed to get the printer name / port, none of the other information. Even it it could Forms does not expose an API to effect the PRINT; built-in.

PDF with multiple invoices I need collated copies printed

First off, I would like to say I am an IT professional so the obvious things I have already tried. Here is the situation:
I have a business application that outputs shipping invoices and packing slips into a PDF. That single PDF has many slips and some are multiple pages long. I need to print 3 copies of each slip as part of the business SOP. Right now I have to manually collate each one and it takes hours. The printer does support collating, BUT it treats it as a single document. Not a document that has multiple documents inside of it. So if I put on collate, they are printed in order, but then I have to seperate each set of copies. That process actually takes longer than printing them not collated.
The only way I can think of it would be somehow tagging the seperate pages automatically so the print driver knows it is a seperate document within the single file. They all have page x of y on each page. But open to other ideas.
Is there some way to print this how I need it? It isn't a simple solution but this would eliminate 2-4 hours of manual collating each day. Any ideas? Right now it is using adobe reader, but if they have more advanced option in the pro version I am sure the company would gladly invest in it.

Is there any way to restrict the printing of a PDF so that it can't be printed after a certain date?

When I print A spreadsheet 2 copies print

I recently tried to make a spreadsheet in Numbers and when I print it it automatically prints 2 copies. I even see 2 copies when I use the preview function

considering there is nor true print preview like in other programs, this would imply that there are two copies of your data in the sheet. If you can see the scroll bars at the top or bottom of your screen, scroll around or zoom way out you will most likely find other sets of data.
If this si not the case, please post some screnshots so we can get a better ide of what your seeing, (I use the free photobucket.com to host my screenshots, then link to them here).

Hp color LaserJet 5550 print more copies than requested in multiple copies print

Hi, I've got a hp color LaserJet 5550 on a network, when I send to print more than one copy (2 for instance) I get more than 2 copies, last time I got 4.
Any suggestion? I've seen on other forums that I must disable bidirectional connection, it's done, drivers are new.

Number of copies printed upon P.O. change

How/where do I configure whether changes to a P.O. (ME22N) will be printed to a remote location's laser printer, as they are upon P.O. creation (ME21N).
In this case, the remote location wants a printed copy upon a P.O. creation but NOT when an existing P.O. is changed.
I see how to adjust the number of copies via MN05 but not how to turn printing off for just changes.

In config, have you tried to un-check all fields relevant for printout of changes ? If this does not work, you could write a custom requirement which will check for PO change and suppress the output.

Please read this post then provide some details. What exactly are you wanting to do? Are you printing from the computer or making copies from the glass or printing photo's from a photo card? If from the computer what program are you printing from?

Officejet Pro 8630 - # of copies printed

I'm printing from a Mac and no matter how many copies I send to printer it will only print one copy. Help!

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I understand you are not able to print multi page prints when printing to your HP Officejet Pro 8630. It only ever prints one, I am not sure which troubleshooting steps you have tried already but would like you to complete the steps listed below:
Uninstall
1. From the computer desktop, double-click the Macintosh HD, and then click Applications.
2. Click the Hewlett-Packard folder.
3. Double-click the HP Uninstaller, and then click Continue.
4. Select the printer to uninstall, and then click Uninstall.
5. When prompted, type the Administrator name and Password, and then click OK.
Reset Printing System
1. Click the Apple icon, and then click System Preferences .
2. In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax. The Print & Fax dialog box opens.
3. Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
4. Click OK to confirm the reset.
5. Type the correct Name and Password.
6. Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected.
Repair Disk Permissions
1. On the Dock, click Applications, and then click Utilities.
2. Double-click Disk Utility.
3. Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
4. Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
Now I would like you to restart the MAC, once it is restarted please go ahead and run the software installation. Click the link below, select your current MAC OS X from the drop down menu and continue with the on screen instructions:

Duplicate copies printing from Kyocera Mita Network printer

I'm trying to print to a Kyocera Mita FS-9500DN printer across a network. I successfully installed the drivers and was able to connect to it.
The good news is that it prints. The bad news is that it prints THREE copies of everything sent to it. If I specify two copies, it will only print two. But I can't specify only one, and it won't print one by default.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Several months ago there was some Xerox users with a similar problem. However, regardless of the number of copies they entered, they always got multiples. I cannot remember if it was resolved.
Anyway, this sounds like a driver issue. You could test this theory by opening the Terminal application and submitting a text file via lp. For example, create a simple text file using TextEdit. Then save it with a filename of test in your documents folder. Then open Terminal (located in Applications > Utilities). Change the directory to your Documents folder (cd Documents). Then type lp test (or test.rtf if it was saved with the extension) and press the Enter key. If the Mita is the default printer the machine should start up and you should only get one copy. If this does happen, then you know it's a driver issue so you can contact your Mita support and see if they have a fix.

Print copies settings in NACE

I got the following requirement from my client.
1. My client requested me to schedule one job for transaction MRRL
2. He wants 2 copies print out of credit notes from that job.
I scheduled a job for transaction MRRL and for credit note printouts I did the below settings in NACE transaction code.
1. In NACE for application MR (Invoice Verification) --> in Condition records --> for ERS (ERS Procedure) out put type --> in Communication i added printer name and Number of messages as "2" (as my client wants the print 2 copies of credit note).
But when my client getting the print from the job he is getting only one copy of credit note...... could any one let me know what settings I need to do for extra copies of print? which are total 2 copis of print.

Printing multiple copies of PDF together

I can not seem to figure out the settings for printing copies. I want to be able to print multiple copies of a PDF so the entire document prints together. Right now, when I print multiple copies in Acrobat Pro (10.1.3), it prints the all the copies of the first page, then all the copies of the second page, etc. Is there any setting to change this, so one copy of the document prints together before other copies print?
This may be an easy fix, but I've looked at all the preference and printer settings and can't find anything!

Hi Lori! Thanks for that link. I am a Mac user and those directions did not work for me. When I enter in a number greater than 2 in the "copies" box, there is an option to "collate", which I have clicked. Looking at that set of directions, that is what has been turned off. I've clicked through all the various boxes in the print dialogue box, as well as preferences, and there is nothing mentioned "about stapling." Am I completely missing something?
