My battery drained on my iPad 4s and now I can't turn it off or on. It just continues to cycle through the Apple Logo scree for about 10 seconds and than goes blank. Any thoughts would be appreciated
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. The battery on my son's brand new 64G iPod touch drained while it was synced yo the mac. Now it says 100% charged when it's connected to a charger, but drops to zero as soon as it's disconnected. It would appear that, either the battery is faulty or the battery indicator is faulty. iPod batteries are not supposed to drain while syncing. And rechargeable batteries are supposed to recharge after they have drained. Maybe I'm missing something simple here, does anyone know what it is?

Hi, I'm having trouble with my Ipad 2. I was recently playing a game and my ipad just shut off on me. Then when I turned it back on it was stuck on the Apple Logo and it won't go to the home screen at all. I plugged it in my itunes but I don't know what to do from there. Did you try rebooting the iPad? You will need to have some battery power for this.

So my Ipod will no longer turn on. i leave it on my Ihome and nothing happens. whenever i try to turn it on i get the Apple logo and then it dies and says i should charge it, so i do and it does it again. What does this mean? is my battery totally dead? please i really need help
Did you try to charge it using the adapter or your computer?

If it is the third party apps crashing - try downloading another app - any free app is fine. See if that resets the other apps.

Try a soft-reset and see if that gets it to boot up properly : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should reappear and it will hopefully boot up.

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.
