Can anyone advise why my brand new iPhone 6 Plus showing Lifetime 2 hrs 41 mins under Settings/Call Time? I did not even use the phone to make call yet!

I meant when they test a percentage of devices as part of quality control - to make sure that a particular batch of phones is defect free and market ready
The Call time is apparently the total time one spends talking on the phone between total resets and wipes

There is no such thing as a "sub-account." Also, you probably mean iTunes library, when you say "account." Your "account" in iTunes is your Apple ID, which is what you use to sign in to the iTunes Store to make purchases. iPods are associated with an iTunes library, not with an Apple ID (iTunes Store account). You'll need to clarify...
So, this is what I think you are saying. You previously shared an iTunes library on a computer with your friend. Your old iPod was synced to that iTunes library.
You got an iPhone, and at that time, you set up your own iTunes library. Is that on a different computer? How does the iPhone affect your question about the iPod?
You got a new iPod. What is your "old iTunes"? Is that the iTunes library you shared with your friend?

I plugged my iphone in for the first time to my computer. I synced it with my itunes and it deleted everything. Now I don't know what to do because I did not even have the chance to back it up! everything is gone please please help me!

When you saw this dialog box, did you choose "Erase and Sync"?
If you did, your iPhone was erased, then your iTunes Library was transferred to it. If your iTunes Library was empty, your iPhone will be also.
Your previously purchased music, apps, books, and videos are still yours. You just have to download them again.

You need OS X 10.8 mountain lion, mirror is a feature of that OS and you need to buy it from the app store, OS X 10.7.5 does not do it.
If you don't want to change visit www.airparrot.com a third party app that can do it.

I just bought a brand new iPhone 4s from a Three store. When I used the cloud restore to put the data from my old 3gs onto the device, it's prompting me for an Apple ID login with an email address that isn't mine!

When I used the cloud restore to put the data from my old 3GS onto the device, it's prompting me for an Apple ID login with an email address (hotmail) that isn't mine! My old phone has NEVER had any Apple ID other than mine log into it, and the new one's a sealed box that I've opened and set up from scratch. Can anyone please explain this? I'm worried there's some kind of problem with my iCloud data being mixed with someone else's or something... Since I logged in with my own ID, it's downloaded the data perfectly fine, but I just got the Apple ID prompt again a moment ago with this same hotmail address in it... I'd be very grateful for any explanation!

In iTunes on your computer, select the Purchased section under STORE in the left column. Click on the first track and choose "Get Info" from the "File" menu.
In the "Summary" tab you'll see details of the purchaser of the track. Click Next to go through all your purchased music one by one until you find the ones you need to get rid of.
Unfortunately, there are no smart playlist rules that can filter tracks by the purchaser that I know of.

Why does my brand new iPhone 5 show 6 days of talk time under the cell usage section of the general settings ? Was my phone repackaged ?

Just curious if I can find this out somewhere ? I purchased new from A Verizon owned store .... When i go to general then usage and then cellular usage it says the phone was reset and that prior to the rest there was 6 days and 2 hours of talk time ? I also purchased a new iPhone 5 for my wife and checked her settings and hers does not show this usage.....
Just looking for some kind of logical explanation and it i should be concerned and return it....

My iphone starts playing music when I'm not even touching the phone

My iphone 4 starts playing music when the phone is in my purse and I'm not touching it or even going through my purse. I've tried making sure the ipod is not set to a song but rather to a menu screen when I close it. Sometimes I haven't even used the ipod recently. My phone also calls people when I'm not touching it. Does anyone else have this problem? It must be something I'm doing but I can't figure out what it could be. I'd appreciate any help!

Mine plays music when I have the iPhone 4 in my pocket and bend over a little, I know that kinda 'scrunches' the phone slightly but no other iPhone I've had ever did this and I've treated them all the same. I'll be walking along, pick up something and then the music starts playing. I don't touch anything, never attach headphones, basically the phone is asleep but somehow something triggers the music to start playing. I've entered this as a separate thread but no one seems to know why this happens. I suppose I could take the phone back and exchange it for a new one, but it would be better to know what is causing this.

HT4865 my apple ID changed but my icloud did not update with the info - how do i get icloud to use my new apple ID

We updated our Apple ID's with our new email and home address etc... with no issues. But.....icloud won't update and I can't figure out how to edit it. It shows the old Apple ID info.

We also changed email address, deleted account and added new one in. I thought everything was working, calenders, photo stream, contracts. Then when I went to email a photo from the photo library that had been streamed in through old email address, It showed Icloud still sending from old address with no way to change it. I'm afraid if I delete the account and try to add it in again, I Cloud wont let me; or I will have to chnge everything again (nightmare) This is on an IMac.

I have a brand new iphone 4s unlocked version from singapore and I am experiencing constant network fluctuations on my iphone , no service, call failed, invalid sim, sim failure, bars fluctuating from 5 - 3 - 2 - 1, no signal/bars searching etc... Ifeel miserable after trying out all the options changed multiple sims, tried multiple carriers, restored the phone back and have set-up as new device but the problem does not get solved... its is so frustrating that after investing on a world's most expensive phone you cannot enjoy the calling features which the phone offers which is the main thing you own the phone for.. Rest of the things are working.. The funniest part I am not able to make calls or receive calls but can access the internet.. I have tried every possible thing and really very frustrated with this iphone of mine...I hope the problem gets solved.. would anyone have any solutions to this problem.. Does it mean one should never update software as I hear that after updating to IOS.5.1 the problem has started coming and same has been with there.... Apple says its a hardware failure which is very difficult to digest as sometimes I get 5 bars and able to make and receive calls but 95% of the time I am unable to. If anyone has any solution I will be very happy if he or share can share the same. Many thanks. its so disgusting to experience this on top of this apple does not support global warranty for the phone as you need to go to the country from where you bought the phone for replacement.. How can liquid indicator be red in a brand new iphone 6 plus when it's never been wet?

I have a brand new iphone 6 plus that turned off in the middle of a call I was on. It never turned on again. I took it to the store, they inspected the phone under the direction of an apple technician and could find NOTHING wrong with it. I shipped it to apple to be repaired, they just sent me an email saying the liquid indicator inside the phone is red. No kidding, this phone was only out of it's case for about 10 minutes and that was only because it took me that long to go buy the case. I know there has never been liquid of any kind anywhere near that phone. They said I have to buy another new phone. What will stop this from happening again?

There is not an Apple store closer than 2.5 hours away from me which is why they had me ship it to them. The AT&T guy that was helping me was on the phone with Apple and he asked the rep where the liquid indicator was on the 6+ and the Apple rep told him it was in the headphone jack. He initially looked in the SIM card slot but saw nothing, which is why he asked. When he looked in the headphone jack he said "it's completely white" to the Apple tech. It's funny you mentioned the humidity and having it in the bathroom while showering. I never would have thought such an expensive and highly regarded phone could be effected by something like that, especially when it in a full case. However, the tech I "chatted" with a little bit ago actually said this:
