I see that your clock is stopping on your notebook but you can reset it.
The clock stopping is usually an indication that there is a problem with the CMOS battery. As  you just got your notebook at Christmas you should be in warranty and I recommend contacting HP technical support for assistance.

  • Clock app stopped

       I noticed yesterday that the clock app that came with the phone will just go to blank screen when i try to use it. Then it comes up with an error "Unfortunately, Clock has stopped". i have very little apps on my phone, and haven't installed anything new in over 30 days. so it isn't a new app causing it to crash. I have rebooted twice, pulled the battery waited for about 5 minutes, put it back in and i am still getting the same problem.
    anyone else having this issue?
    i did notice the alarm i had set is still showing up in the task bar at the top of the phone, but i have no way to access it to turn it off or adjust it.

        Hi godfatherdaddy!
    Lets get to the bottom if this alarm error! First, go to Settings>Applications>All>Alarm clock, then clear cache/data. This will reset the app and correct the error message.
    Keep me posted!

  • Zen Touch issue - clock and stops playin

    Every once in a while, my Touch seems to just kinda stop playing which gives me a suprise - its locked and is like nowhere near the last track, and even taht i have on repeat all
    that and when that happens, the clock resets - suggestions anyone?

    I've got the latest firmware (there was only one update) and I did the cleanup...hope it goes well.
    I'm pretty sure the tracks not currupted though because it usually works fine on that whole album.
    O well I guess, its just gotten annoying because twice I needed to check the time and got a wrong time (and date)

  • How do I get the time clock to stop circling on an undelivered email?

    I created a small movie using quick time player. I attached it to an email to send to family through Safari. The email won't go through. The time clock has been circling for 4 hours. It's slowing down my email and I can't do anything to stop it. What do I do?

    It may be that you are getting lots of emails or messages?
    I suggest you go into mail settings and system settings and see what your various alert noises are set as and see if any are the same as the one you're hearing. Then you can figure out whats causing it.
    Alternativley you may have a stuck keyboard button? This produces a chime/ ding every time it is pressed if it cannot be used in the program ou are running or on the desktop.
    I also assume you are NOT talking about the Startup Chime?

  • Clock had stopped working?

    CClock just stopped ticking over - even when set manually . Tried the usual but nothing's working

    Hi Nicola,
    If you are having issues with your iPhone's clock not running, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
    First, quit all running applications and test again -
    Force an app to close in iOS
    Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
    Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
    How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
    Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

  • Song as Alarm Clock Tone Stopped Repeating with iOS 8

    This is a statement of fact rather than a question since the Feedback page doesn't allow me to submit anything.
    Since the update to iOS 8, my selected MP3 as my Alarm Clock tone no longer repeats. It used to repeat in iOS 7 until you manually turned off the alarm or the Snooze. Now it only plays once and shuts off. Then the Alarm dialogue box remains open. I've overslept twice because of this problem.
    I would also like to be able to use my own created ringtones as my Alarm. I am able to use them for my Voicemail and other Alerts, but there's no option for that within the Alarm Clock. Only purchased ringtones.

    Happened to me, too (first morning after upgrading). One of those reasons I hate to upgrade and always put it off as long as possible...you never know what they're going to f**k up for you. Add my voice to the chorus of dissatisfied alarm clock users. Why DO they mess with stuff like this?!?

  • How can i stop the Pop Up asking me to upgrade to 30,i don't want 30 i'm happy with 28 and i wish the pop up by the clock would stop poping up

    I would just like the Pop Up by thr clock asking me to upgrade to 30 to go away.
    I don't like 30 and i,m happy with 28.
    Thanks
    Harold

    You should update to Firefox 30, 28 is no longer supported nor secure.
    Is there a reason you don't want to update?

  • My iPod nano 6th gen clock has stopped ticking!!

    The Clock seems to be fixed at one time and even the second hand. The time gets updated if i connect to PC but then again gets stuck at that time after disconnecting. Everything else is fine btw still now.... HELP PLZ!!!

    Hi dushtusozzy,
    I recommend going through this iPod nano troubleshooting assistant:
    iPod nano (6th generation) - iTunes Troubleshooting Assistant

    After each step, see if the issue persists.

  • Send Causes a Permanent "Clock"-Never Stops

    A simple text email sent caused Mail to have the spinning clock icon to the right of "Sending…" in the left column, and it never finishes sending. Mail will quit OK & Restart fine, except it immediately starts to try to send again with the same result.
    Any attempt to send additional emails does not work.
    Looks like the send command has locked up in a loop.
    Any easy fix, like trashing Mail's Preferences?
    Thanks

    The first thing you should try is using Disk Utility to Repair Permissions, then restart Mail and see if the problem continues. If so, you can try removing the com.apple.mail.plist file from ~/Library/Preferences, restart Mail and recreate your accounts and see if the cures the problem.

  • How to 'Stop the Clock' for SLA when in customer action?

    Hi
    Does anyone know if the functionality exists so that when a support message goes into 'customer action' or 'solution proposed' status the SLA stops counting down until the message is put back into 'in process'?
    The SLA is out of your control when it is waiting for an action from the user so it should be possible for the clock to stop on the SLA automatically when this is the case and the SLA should re-start and re-calculate the new 'completion by' date.
    I know that this is standard in many other types of Helpdesk software but can't find the way to do this with Service Desk.  Can anyone help?
    We are on SM7 SP22.
    Thanks very much for your help.
    Regards

  • How to create a clock with: a reset, start and stop

    How can i create a clock that have to do the following thing:
    Countdown visual in the screen
    Timeset with day's in seconds
    - Pressing start -> it start to run
    - Pressing stop -> The clock is stopping but it keeps the time, when i press start again then it goes on with counting
    - Pressing Reset -> the clock goes back to the start position and waits to start again.
    Tia, William
    Running with Labview 6.1
    Fieldpoint hardware

    The key is to use a shift register to hold the previous count...
    Attached is a quick and dirty version of what you describe. It displays the passed time as seconds so if you need it to be in days just divide the value by 86400...If you don't need sub-second updates you can increase the wait time.

  • My alarm clock stopped working....why?

    My alarm function in my clock has stopped working. Any thoughts on how to fix tis?

    Try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
    There's more to try but let's go a bit at a time.

  • When I lock my iPhone 5c, the clock stops running.

    Hi.
    I have a Green iPhone 5c (GSM).
    Every time I lock the phone, it - without fail -  stops keeping time.
    The clock just stops.
    Also, my WiFi and Bluetooth crash, and "flicker" often.
    Thanks, Will.

    Easy fix and you shouldn't have wasted a trip to the store. To fix, simpy backup your iPhone via iTunes and then click the Restore iPhone button. Once you restore and add everything back, if the problem still continues you will need to restore the iphone again, however you will then need to set it up as a new device and start adding your data back manually. This will isolate what's causing this issue. However the initial backup/restore should take care of the issue. It's not a hardware problem - it's a software issue.

  • Actionscript to Stop Clock

    I have created a Clock in flash using the following
    actionscript:
    time=new Date(); // time object
    seconds = time.getSeconds()
    minutes = time.getMinutes()
    hours = time.getHours()
    hours = hours + (minutes/60);
    seconds = seconds*6;
    minutes = minutes*6;
    hours = hours*30;
    sec._rotation=seconds;
    min._rotation=minutes;
    hour._rotation=hours;
    What I need help with is I want the clock to stop when the
    time reaches 11h 11min and 11sec.
    What code would I need to use?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Ok, i used another online tutorial to create an antique style
    clock but I am still having difficulty using code to make it stop.
    Is there code I can use to specify the time I want the Movie to
    stop playing or is there code I can use so by pressing a hotkey it
    will stop the Movie?
    Here is the code I am using:
    clock.onEnterFrame = function():Void {
    var clockTime:Date = new Date();
    var seconds:Number = clockTime.getSeconds();
    var minutes:Number = clockTime.getMinutes();
    var hours:Number = clockTime.getHours();
    this.secondHand._rotation = seconds*6;
    this.minuteHand._rotation = minutes*6;
    this.hourHand._rotation = (hours*30)+(minutes/2);
    }

  • Older accessories work w/ iphone 3GS, then stop working?

    So about a month ago the office moved from samsung smartphones to the iPhone 3Gs. sweet.
    When I first got it, I did some testing with the existing ipod accessories I have - a sony radio/alarm clock, and the headunit adapter I have for my mazda.
    The alarm clock worked fine with the exception of the "airplane mode warning" and the car adapter worked similarly but wouldn't charge. Fine with me, I'll use the classic on long trips anyway.
    But about a week and a half ago, I noticed that the alarm clock had stopped working normally. It would charge but not play music, using the clock's buzzer instead of playing my wake up music.
    Then today I plugged the iphone into the car for the first time in a couple weeks, and it started playing music when plugged in, but only through the phone's tinny internal speakers. Nothing I could do would route it through the car audio system.
    What could cause the iphone to suddenly stop feeding line-out to accessories? Anybody seen this before?
    Apologies if this has bee posted before, I did scan through a few pages of posts before posting.
    Thanks.
    P.S. Make itunes 9 work with XPx64. Please.

    Have you tried to restore it?
