My colored pencil filter isn't working correctly....
Yesterday, I was humming along creating a drawing and using the colored pencil filter.
Today, it isn't work.
Today when I apply the colored pencil filter to a line or object, it changes the object to grey and doesn't add any cross hatching.
I am using PS Elements 8, and of course this is a deadline day.
Any thoughts out there? I am really stuck.....
This is the Photoshop full version forum, but I'll hazard a couple of wild, uneducated guesses (I don't use Elements)... Is your image in Grayscale mode and not RGB? Also, what do you have your foreground and background colors set to?

Automatic Filter isn't working correctly
My automatic filter effect is extremely tempermental. If I set the filter to an up-sweep for 8 measures, it'll only do two sets of 4 measure sweeps in the playback (just an example, it has happens often). Also, it's effected by things that shouldn't effect it; for example if I change the volume than sometimes the number of measures in the sweep will change when i play it back, even though the actual setting hasn't.
Is there a way I can tell the automatic filter to start the sweep at a certain measure in a song?
Also, could this just be a local glitch on my version or on all versions.
If anyone can help or has a similar problem, please let me know. For reference, I'm filtering garageband software instrument loops that i've made, and am using multiple filters on different tracks throughout the project. How can I correct it?In case you have not fixed this, take a look at your Image Size (Ctrl Alt i). The default when you make a new document window is 72ppi which can result in smaller text than you sometimes expect. If you open Image size, turn off resample, and change the resolution to something like 300, you'll get much larger type for the same settings.
For this reason one of the first things I do after installing Photoshop, or resetting Preferences, is to open Preferences > Units & rulers, and set Type to mm. This way I know that if the document is set to A4, and orientated in landscape (297mm x 210mm) setting text to 21mm is going to result in type exactly one tenth the height of the document.
I believe people in America still use inches, but unfortunately inches are not an option for Type units in Preferences. It is easy enough to work it out in your head though. A 10x8 document with type set to 25mm will give you text one eighth the height of the document.
The bottom line is you can at least predict what is going to happen when setting text size. -

Wallaby animation isn't working correctly after app update
Hi DPS fellows,
This afternoon I've updated my Adobe Content Viewer and all my wallaby animations began to work in a different way.
It's just fades in instead of doing the animation.
Most of them are just animated letters for a headline. The animations consist in each letter appear at different time, sometimes coming form right, some form left or from the top of the page, but after the updated, they just appear in a fade in. Before tha worked pretty fine.
Does anybody here knows how to solve that?

Why is cropping & radial filter isn't working on my LR CC ? I have OSX Version 10.9.5
Almost a general answer at this point but try turning off graphic card acceleration in Preferences->Performance. On not super new machines, it can cause all kinds of slowness and weird things with the cropping tool.

My App Store isn't working correctly..
My App Store isn't working correctly, as the title states, and it continues to give me blank pages. For example, I go to the search bar, simply search up an app I'd like to use, and nothing happens. I'm not given suggestions or a single app when I press "search". It works fine for a brief moment when I open it, but it's as if it freezes but continues to let me press the tabs on the bottom.

10bit (30Bit) Color & Liquify Filter (both not working at the Same Time)
Hi,
i've a Problem with Photoshop CS6 & CC (Actual)
On CS6, 10 bit (30bit) Color is working, but if i want to use the Liquify filter Pucker & Bloat are not working correctly while 10 bit (30bit) enabled, they are reakting too fast, changing setting does not help.
On CC with 10bit (30bit Color) enabled it's even worse, the whole Picture inside the Liquify tool is muddy only in Blue Pixels.
I'm using a Amd FirePro W8100 with the Actual WHQL driver, the Certifyed driver is worse too.
Any suggestion?

Library filter presets not working correctly across catalogs
I am having a trouble with Library Filter Presets that are shared between catalogs. I like to set up presets that filter on specific keywords. For example, I have a preset called "Label - Project 365" which turns on the keyword metadata filter and searches for "Project 365".
All is fine and dandy from within the catalog in which I actually created the preset. When I switch to the other catalog, though, the preset does not filter for the keyword "Project 365". In fact, it turns on the keyword metadata filter but does not appear to select any of the keywords at all. If I click on the proper keyword in the metadata filter (in this case, "Project 365") and update the preset, then it works fine on this "second" catalog... but as a result it will no longer work correctly in the original catalog.
Has anyone else come across this behavior? Any pointers on how I might correct it? Thank you for your time.A bit more information if it helps. When I look in the filter preset file itself, this is what I see. I really don't know how to interpret everything here. There is an entryt for "columnBrowserDesc" that contains an integer for "selections". Perhaps this is how it is identifything the keyword of interest? If that's the case, perhaps it may be the culprit. (And if so, I've simply run into a limitation that I can't do much about.)

My iPhone accelerometer isn't working correctly
My iPhone's accelermoter hasn't been working correctly for a bit now, I am unable to rotate to protrait on all apps and I have assured that protraite orientation isn't on lock. I have also tested the X,Y and Z axis on an app and it reads when placed on a flat surface:
X: -0.18
Y:-0.19
Z:-2.30
Is this a hardware issue or a software issue? I have a 3Gs if that helps. Thanks in advanceHello Manorea

If your iPhone's keypad seems to stall for short periods of time and then resume, I would recommend putting the iPhone through this troubleshooting assistant:

Using -private in conjunction with -new-window isn't working correctly
Using an external program to launch Firefox with command line arguments, it seems that using -private and -new-window URL doesn't seem to work correctly. It's almost as if one or the other gets completely ignored. Has anyone else noticed this?
Ideally, i'd like to be able to ALWAYS launch a new window to a specified URL in private mode by default.It is not possible to open an external link in a Private Browsing mode window.

The Firefox menu button gets a purple background or you get a purple PB mask on the Menu bar or tab bar (Linux) when you are in a PB tab and all Private Browsing mode tabs get a dashed underlining unless you are in permanent PB mode.
You can set the extensions.privateTab.allowOpenExternalLinksInPrivateTabs pref to true on the <b>about:config</b> page to see if that works (haven't tested this with a command line). -
My Ipod Touch's wi-fi isn't working correctly?
So, one day my iTouch' textingapp stops letting me get and send texts. Then I went over to a friend's house and we tried to get on her wifi but she never remembered he password and kept enterring incorrect ones.
Then when I got home, it would connect to my wifi but whenever I would wanna use an app involvig internet it would never work or load, then I tried restoring it and re synching my setings, and it still isn't working.
Help?This is the standard set of steps to fix most WiFi problems. Probably a bit of overkill in your case, but better to do all of the steps.
1. Reboot your router - unplug the A/C power cord.
2. Reset Network Settings on the touch - tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
3. After the touch restarts, log back into your network by tapping Settings > WiFi > Other and re-entering your network name, security, and network password.
If you continue to have problems, write back with some additional details, error messages, etc.
