My computer broken, help with Photoshop-program!

Hi!  Started my membership in creative cloud Photoshop program 3.6.2014. AD005025068FI I downloaded program on my I downloaded program to my laptop computer, which broke yesterday. Two questions, how can I get Photoshop program to another computer use? Can the program be in two of my computer just in case?

Yes, you may have it installed on two computers at any one time. Simply install the Creative Cloud app, sign in, and install Photoshop.

  • Be grateful for your help with Photoshop Elements which I have been using for several years.

Be grateful for your help with Photoshop Elements which I have been using for several years.  Does Elements need to have access to ‘My Pictures’ on Windows as when I remove Photos from ‘My Pictures’, Elements later, when backing up, gives a message that it is unable to ‘reconnect’ to the same picture on elements.  On other occasions when removing a photo from Elements catalogue I also get a similar message when backing up saying ‘unable to reconnect’.  1. Is there a relationship between Elements and My Pictures and is Elements dependant on    the Windows ‘My Pictures’? 2. Why does some photos in Elements in some cases cause them to multiply e.g. double; triple; quadruple; and on occasions even more?  Is there something I need to do to stop this or an easy way I can remove the multiples without spending hours doing it manually one by one?  Am I doing something wrong? My O/S is Windows XP SP2 and windows Vista on my Laptop.  I have been using Elements 5 and have just purchased Photoshop Elements 8.0. (Upgrade) and about to install it. Be grateful for any advice as I do enjoy using the program if only I can resolve this issue.  I am not a PC wiz and mainly use Elements to catalogue photos from which I compile collections and from them slide shows with music.  Any advice appreciated Sonny.t PS Have tried to post this previously but without success so hoping to see message appear and a +response

The organizer doesn't care where you send your photos when you download them via the downloader or where they happen to be when you first bring them in if you use the Get Photos command, but once your pics are in the Organizer, you *must* move them from within organizer or it can't find them. You don't have to use My Pictures at all if you don't want to, but regardless of the folder where you put your photos, if you want them someplace else, you use organizer to do it.

  • Help with Paint program.

Hello. I am somewhat new to Java and I was recently assigned to do a simple paint program. I have had no trouble up until my class started getting into the graphical functions of Java. I need help with my program. I am supposed to start off with a program that draws lines and changes a minimum of 5 colors. I have the line function done but my color change boxes do not work and I am able to draw inside the box that is supposed to be reserved for color buttons. Here is my code so far:
    // Lab13110.java
// The Lab13 program assignment is open ended.
// There is no provided student version for starting, nor are there
// any files with solutions for the different point versions.

  • Help with photoshop elements 8

I was editing and organizing my photos this afternoon, and now when I click on the icon, it comes up, I click on organize and it disappears.  Is it an activation problem? Is it a registration problem?  I am registered, I have two computers with the program on it--is that the problem?  I seriously need some help, as I can't even access my photos, and this is my business.

Thank you for your assistance.  I am reassured now that at least I have not lost all my work.  I guess I need to purchase a new back-up for this computer.  I think I have picked up a virus somewhere and it is affecting photoshop, among other things.  So I guess it is also time to get in touch with my local expert.  I do really appreciate your help, I was afraid that I am the only one still working with elements 8.  Especially since the on-line tech person I contacted this afternoon refused to help me because ‘it’s too old’.  I could probably say the same about myself, since I seem to be less knowledgeable about computers than I was 20 years ago!  Again, thanks for your help.

  • Help with pathfinding program

    hi,
i study java at school and i need help with my project.
im doing a simple demonstration of a pathfinding program whose algoritm i read off Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pathfinding)where the co-ordinates of the start and end points

Also, please take the trouble to properly spell words and use a bit of capitalization. Your question is hard to read as it is, which will most probably cause (some) people not to help you. And lastly, please use code tags when posting code: it makes it so much easier to read (see: [Formatting Messages|http://mediacast.sun.com/users/humanlever/media/forums_text_editor.mp4]).

  • Someone please help with Photoshop CS5 opening error

Everytime I try to open Photoshop CS5 on my Macbook Pro, it starts to load and then right after it says "Initializing panels..." it stops loading and an error message error pops up and says "Could not initialzie Photoshop because of a program error." I'm not sure at all what I did to cause this. I have Premire CS5 and After Effects CS5 also installed and those load and work perfectly fine. Photoshop just stopped working all of a sudden. Photoshop is running in 64 bit mode but i also tried to run it in 32 bit mode and that did not work either.
Thank you for anyone that helps.
    Here are all my specs:
    - Macbook Pro
    - Mac OS X 10.5.8
    - 8 GB RAM
    - ~6 GB left of space on my harddrive
    - Photoshop CS5 Version 12.0

That is pathetic little disk space available.
Keep in mind that the OS must share that itty bitty space with Photoshop's Scratch Disk.  As a point of reference, I keep a modest, dedicated 160-GB dedicated second internal drive for my Photoshop Scratch Disk alone.

You should be running Photoshop 12.0.2.

  • I wanted to start a Digital Printing business please help with Photoshop

Hi I wanted to start a digital printing business please help me with photoshop.
I've never used the program before and dont know how to design either. I got the trial edition of the photoshop extended and do I need to take some form of lessons or how do I start learning photo shop to do things like Banners, posters, signage, digital printing in other words...

Before you invest any money in a startup business you MUST make sure you are able to compete with the competition. What you are saying is a bit like - I want to start a bakery but I cant cook and don't know how to use an oven - this might sound negative but try imagine the taste of the cakes....
If you really want to enter into the market your best bet would be to hire a designer/someone who knows about printing/profiling etc as printing can be complex, especially when you bump into technical problems.....You can always learn along side him/her. I don't want to put you off so GO FOR IT!!, but it is tough out there at the moment.

  • Help with Photoshop Elements 9 Organizer

I need some help with my new Photoshop Elements 9 Organizer.
I have not had previous versions of Photoshop, this was a brand new installation.  I had previously used Kodak software which came with my camera to organize and edit pictures.
My PC is approximately 6 years old.  I have a 2.2 ghz processor and 1.5 GB of RAM.  I am running Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3.
The software seemed to install just fine.  I then imported some pictures from my Kodak folders into the Photoshop Organizer.  After importing pictures I then received the following error message:
'Elements 9 Organizer has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.'
If I remove the pictures from the catalog, I no longer get the error message.  As soon as I import any pictures, however, I get the error and the software closes.  When I reopen the organizer I get the same error after after about 15 seconds
    I have tried the following:
    uninstalled an re-installed twice
turned off the automatic backup to photoshop.com
I did come across thread 769749 (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/769749) that offered some advice.  Based on that, I optimized my catalog (which was empty), repaired my catalog (which was empty).  I also created a new catalog and removed the existing (empty) catalog.
All of these efforts have not worked.  Each time I try something, as soon as I import any pictures into the catalog, I get 'Elements 9 Organizer has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.'
This is brand new software that I am unable to use.
    Adobe, please help.

Answers to following queries would help-
    * Are you able to import images into Organizer from folder other than your Kodak folders?
    * Is your problem happening for importing from a specific set of folders only?
    * Is your problematic folder having any video files in it which you are importing into Organizer?

By the way im using Ready to program for the programming.

You can't really believe that his brother did this
for him...I did miss that copyright line at the beginning when
I first looked it over, but you know, if it had been
his brother, I'd be kinda impressed. This wasn't a
25 line program. It actually would have required
SOME thought. I doubt my brother woulda done that
for me (notwithstanding the fact that I wouldn't need
help for that program, and my brother isn't a
programmer).I originally missed the comments at the top but when I saw the complexity of what was written then I knew that it was too advanced for a beginner and I relooked through the code and saw the comments.

  • Help with Recurrsion program

I seem to be having a little problem with my program. In my main program, depending on which method comes first, the other methods wont work for example the way my main program is not, with occurance method before removeLetter method, the occurance method works fine, but my removeLetter meth won't remove the letter. But if i switch the two and have removeLetter first then it will remove the letter, but my occurance method will come back say the letter is not in the word even when it is...can someone help me? Thanx in advance...
    class CharacterRecurrance{

  • Help with a Program I am writing!  Please!

    Hello All,
This is my first post...I hope to find some answers to my program I am writing! A couple things first - I am 17, and have designed a comp. science class for myself to take while a senior in high school, since there was not one offered. My end of the 2nd term project is to write a program that encompasses the information I have learned about for the past two terms. I know the very basics, if that. Please help!
My program involves the simple dice throwing program, 'Dice Thrower' by Kevin Boone. The full text/program write out can be found at:
    http://www.kevinboone.com/PF_DiceThrower-java.html
I am hoping to add a part to this program that basically tells the program if the dice show doubles, pop up a little GUI window that says "You are a Winner! You Got Doubles!"
I was thinking as I finished chapter 7 in my text book, that either an 'if/else' or 'switch' statement might be the right place to start.
Could someone please write me a start to the program text that I need to add to 'Dice Thrower', or explain what I need to do to get started! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.

I know this seems like a lot of errors, but believe it or not, I actually had it up in the high teens and was able to fix some of them myself from going by previous examples, as well as looking things up in my text book. If anyone has any suggestions concerning the syntax errors of the code, please please let me know and I will work my hardest to fix them...thank you all so much for helping.
