My computer wont show a specific foreign/native letter.

I'm from Norway and in norway we use the letters æ ø and å, but I seem to have a problem displaying the letter "å" in some applications and websites. In skype I can see both æ and ø but not å. A sentence like this one "Du er så dum at det går ikke ann" would look like this "Du er s dum at det g r ikke ann."
You see the missing letter, å?
It happens in skype, and in some norwegian websites. It really ****** me off and I seriously need help. Apple support hasnt given me any answers at all and I'm hoping the community can help me.

For Skype I suggest you search/ask in their forums.
For websites, please give the url of one where this happens to you and also with which browser.
Normally even if some font is missing a letter, any normal app will just take it from an alternative font, so it is really strange that you would have one missing altogether.

that's expected behavior. the Touch doesn't support disk mode so would, by default, not show up in "my computer".

You have posted to the iTunes Match forum, which your question does not seem to be related to. Is your question concerning iTunes Match or syncing with iTunes via USB?

Ipod touch wont show up in usb or itunes help pages just bring me in circles. how can i get it to show up. I use windows xp at home and tried everything then tried a relatives computer using windows 7 and still nothing. this is an older ipod touch

I downloaded i tunes and couldn't get it to change. brought it to at&t store today they hooked it up with my usb cord to thier computer and suddenly the menu screens work and i could even get online with it yet when i try to hook it up to one of my computers it doesn't show up anywere where can i go to get this fixed and fixed quick jumping around the apple help pages have put me in a foul mood and im sick of it two days spent trying to get it to show now. im sick of waiting around i need help asap so i can return this **** thing if it turns out it is broken somehow..which i dont think it is.

1st generation ipod. When I plug it into my computer an image of a disk w/a magnifying glass appears (disk scan). Each time I plug it in it does the same thing and it wont show up on my computer.

The other strange thing is all of the songs are gone from the ipod but the disk space is still being used. My second generation Ipod is a little more than a year old and has worked splendidly until this last monday.
Five days ago my ipod would not play a song, and when i tried to skip it, it wouldnt play that song either. The CD cover would also not show up.
This has happened to me before, so i did what i normally do to fix it, plug it into a wall charger for a whole day. However, this did nothing. Today, I took it off the charger and plugged it into my computer, a little beep sounds but wont show up on itunes or my computer.
It began to charge with my computer, but then it froze completely. Im unable to change the song or turn it off (when i take it off the computer it is still frozen for hours with the backlight and charging sign in the battery)
obviosly i can not restore it if it wont show up on itnes, and i can not put it in disk mode if it is frozen!
is there anything i can do?

Mine did the same thing, hold down the center button then press menu hold them both down for about 10 seconds. You may have to do it more than once. I hope that helps!!!!!!

My iPad2 works great now after IOS 8.1 Update
I did my iPad2 update thru iTunes on my iMac and it was sucking the iMacs memory very low during the update. Safari froze before loading the first web page and I did a hard boot and went fishing as I saw where it was going to take a long time to recover. When I tried again it wasn't quite right and then did one more hard boot and then did a Reset by going to General-Reset-"Reset all Settings" and it works real well now without loosing any data and in-home wi-fi clocks at 17Mbps download. Probably like most of you I’m sticking with OSX 10.9.5 Mavericks as it gets the job done very nicely and don’t need all that extra fancy stuff that probably will slow things down.
