My game center wont add friends.

I will recieve friend request and I will accept them, but it never adds them. Also I cannot request people to be my friends. I checked the settings on my account it is set up to allow friend requests. I have also tried rebooting the Ipad, but still no luck.

Try these steps:
1. Open multitasking bar and close everything. (Hold down and press the X's.
2. Then, power off.
3. Turn back on.
4. This is where the problem lies: TURN ON ALL THE NOTIFICATIONS FOR GAMECENTER.

Game Center - no add friend button and unknown notifications

On my iPhone 4 when I click into game center I dont think it is acting as it should? There are a few things wrong I think?
- In the friends tab it just says "No Friends" and has no button anywhere for me to add friends.
- There are only three tabs down the bottom 'Me', 'Friends' and 'Games' - shouldnt there be an extra one?
- Randomly sometimes when I enter game center then exit again a notification show on game center in my home screen and when I click on game center to find the notification it is no where to be found but the little red "1" still stays over game center in my home screen and I can't get rid of it?

Enable Game Center under General>Restricions>Game Center. There are two toggles, "Multiplayer Games" and "Adding Friends". Turning on the latter toggle will enable you to add friends to your account.
Alternatively, you can disable restrictions completely.

Game center wont let me log in and keeps starting itself whenever i try to play chess

game center wont let me log in with my apple id, and it also starts itself whenever i click on anything in chess, so i cant play at all, it is really frustrating, and i cant figure out how to turn game center off, or make it behave.

the force quit option doesnt come up for them, so i tried quitting them in the terminal, and its still doing it

Game center cannot invite friends...please help

As the title says...myself and lot of friends cannot invite each other to play games...the wheel just spins and spins till you just have to cancel the invite...all notifications are on for inviting friends and games...
No-one seems to know the answer, hope someone here does

1. Make sure notifications is on for game center, otherwise thy won't get invites.
2. Make sure neither one of you has a bad connection.
3. Make sure you and your friend are both on at the same time and you guys are not sending invites at the same time.
4. Keep the Powerbutton and the Homebutton pressed at the same time until you see the Apple logo on your screen.
These are some solutions that helped me, hope they work for you too.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I had a game on my game center that wouldnt load my saved game when i downloaded the app on my new phone. A game made by the exact same company loaded just fine. Now the game is completely gone from my game center. i am FURIOUS.

Test your connection using a different game. If you can't connect with a specific friend or player in multiple games, they may need to check their Wi-Fi connection and router settings.
On iOS, try opening the game from the Home screen, rather than from within Game Center.

Oh my god.
I have the same issue and im about to leave IOS and go Android.
Im a huge gamer on the iPhone and got 19k+ achivement.
When IOS 7 came the GC have not been working correctly ever sence.
I have a huge OCD with achievements and need the achievements synced with GC.
For every 7.0.X update im SURE there will be a fix for this but nothing.
I am very dissapointed.

My Game Center wont finish loading?

I Tried to log onto my Game Center today and it would just say 'Loading…' the whole time. I tried to log onto an app that uses Game Center then it would ask me to sign in and then that would also load forever. I have tried resetting all settings and rebooting my phone. Please help!

They really changed game center between iOS 6 and iOS 7, with it they moved some of the options of game center. Instead of changing your nickname in the app. You have to go to settings and scroll down till you see game center. There you have to sign in before you can change the name. I was just trying to do this and just figured it out. lol

I can't add friends on game center on my 5S

I have recently switched phones, from iPhone 4 to 5S and everything have been good. However today when I tried to add a friend on Game Center I couldn't. It says something about 'can't add friends from this device' and I have no idea why. Also my friend tried adding me instead but I didn't get the request. Please help.

i tried that that several times in the beginning, but then I finally figured it out ! I had to go to settings then to restrictions , in restrictions I needed to allow Game Center to add friends, but then I just decided to turn all restrictions off in general . glad that's over and done with ! Now it works ! Thank you for your response though!

I lost all of my friends in the Game Center. I am using a Iphone 4S.

I was playing the Sims Freeplay on my iphone 4s and discovered that all 27 of my friends were missing. So went back to my home screen and re-logged into Game Center and my friends were missing from there as well. I don't understand what is happening? It was fine this morning and even in the afternoon it was working. What is problem? How do I get ALL 27 of my friends back? Who do I contact to fix this issue? Do I call apple? Would they beable to help.

The catalog file has no thumbnails or accompanying photo's. There is a file ending with .Previews.lrdata that contains previews of the image files that have been imported into the Catalog. The Catalog File .lrcat (LRCAT) does not contain any image files it just records info about your image files and the work you have done with them in Lightroom. See the image capture. Why my Game Center wont show me my friends and games? It just shows loading wheel. Ive waited even two hrs but it still wont show them. So im asking whats wrong?

HT4314 Game Center difference I-Pad to I-phone

I tried to sign in to HayDay on my I-phone and now my I-phone shows level 1 and my I-Pad shows level 31. My hubby sees me at level 1 on his I-pad. Is there any way to fix this? I probably messed it up and lost my game. My cloud storage is full so no recent backups on the i-pad.

Have you tried closing the application from the multitasking, then restarting your phone? This could solve the problem. Sometimes our apps just get exhausted and need to restart in the same way our phones need to.
Have you tried logging out and logging back into game center? This can reset game centers information, which should reset friends as well. This can be found in settings>game center
Have you verified your apple ID? Since you're on here I'd guess thats a yes but just in case you haven't go here: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
Is your iOS up to date? sometimes servers get upgraded with the updates so older iOS versions might not be compatible in silly small ways (like Game Center not displaying friends).
The other issue could be related to an error my own phone was having. Basically I couldn't add friends (whether I was sending the request or receiving it) or play multiplayer on game center. In that case the issue is in the iPhone/iPad/iPod software itself, which is something we'd all expect (at least I would) when a company creates a new operating from scratch. In this case what's happening is your game center is responding to the iOS restrictions found in your settings menu (even though restrictions are disabled).
To fix this problem
go to settings>general>restrictions
Enable restrictions and choose a password you'll remember in 45 seconds
Scroll to the bottom where you see the section labeled "Game Center"
Now flip the switch on both Multiplayer Games and Adding Friends so both switches are green.
Scroll back to the top and disable restrictions
So let me know if you try any of that and let me know if any of it works.
