1. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) for about 10 seconds

After some time of navigating through my webapp the commandLinks do not react anymore as expected. I use command links like this:

There is a bug with commandLink.
What version are you using of JSF?
If you use firefox and have the web developer tools you can see what is happening. You verify that the input hidden that contains the value of the commandlink submit value, probably have the wrong value after a while.

Facebook does not react anymore since this Update?

With Google Chrome and Safari facebook does not react anymore.
Chrome gives server error
Safari is blank.
May be it has eo do with Facebook but it happened just after this update...?!

Given the lack of discussions, it's likely that there's something isolated within your configuration or your network connection. (This'd likely be producing mass panic, if it were a general problem.)
I've intentionally blocked FB here via local means, so I'm not in a position to test the connection.
Did you use any of the third-party Flashback removal tools? If so, which one?
Do you have any network-filtering, anti-malware or other security packages installed?
Is your DNS setting aimed at your ISP DNS servers, or at the Google DNS 8.8.8.8 servers?

Device does not react anymore: flashing and busy

For an unclear reason my Blackberry Curve started to show a white screen for 3 seconds, than black, (LED red) and it continues doing that.
Even removing the battery for hours and putting it back in does not solve the problem, it remains to react like this.
Can somebody please help?

Thanks for the hint but I am still stuck.
If I follow the recommended steps in the article, I can connect the device easily, then it starts the update with Erasing applications, Loading System SW, but then it tries to reconnect to the JVM and this fails since after previous steps it is still in an endless loop.
I was thinking I need to be able to wipe the memory and found JL_Cmder, tried the Wipe there and after about 50 times or retrying I could reboot it with error 507 and then ran the app loader again with v4.5. Succesful, but after that, a couple of minutes later it started to endless loop again... tried again about 50 times to wipe it with JL_Cmder but was not as lucky as before...
This is quite frustrating.. I spent hours on this already and I really wonder if there aren't any better tools available for capturing this...
I hope somebody can still provide me with some more info...

My track pad does not work anymore

My macbook air was baught in 2010 and the track pad has stopped working. Can it be helped with software ocr is it a hardware issue.

Sync-client of E61 does not react anymore

Hello,
the connection to my E61 is fine: SMS, Contacts and all other data can be exchanged between my Windows XP via BT very well.
Only when I try to triger the sync the 7.0.9.2 PC-Suite from the XP-side my phone seems not to realize, that the PC wants to sync.
To duplicate the syn profile on the E61and then syncing from the E61 to the PC works!
I remember that the first time I synced, a little application (the pc-suite-client?) has been installed on the phone.
I think when this step can be repeated I can solve the problem.
But how can I do this? The pc-suite-client is not a normal symbian program, therefore I can not deinstall it.

I havent updated Firefox or anything, the + sign just stopped functioning. I read some answers on similar problems but do not know how to start up in 'save mode' nor did I quite understand the given solutions.

hello, please go to the firefox ''menu ≡ > addons > extensions'' & remove the "Vuze Remote Community Toolbar 3.21.0.1". this is a rather suspicious entry and was reported by other users in the past for causing similar problems.

Aperture export is not working, "Choose" buttons also not reacting

Suddenly I can't export versions, originals, metadata and export as library anymore. Also all "Choose" buttons do not react anymore. For example its not possible to open another Library or choose the external photo editor in Preferences. If I login with my second useraccount Aperture does work just fine.
On Monday I had no problems at all. Sofar I did the following things:
FIRST.
Repair Diskpermissions and Verify disk which was OK.
Moved to desktop following files:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Apertue
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Aperture
Emptied the trash and restarted. The problem is not solved.
SECOND.
All the above actions and restart.
Aperture Photolibrary first aid, "Repair Permissins" , "Repair Database" and "Rebuild Database".
The problem is not solved.
THIRD.
Uninstalled Aperture and removed all files containing the frase "Aperture" (as far as these files had any connection with the application).
Repair Diskpermissions and Verify disk which was OK.
Emptied the trash and restarted.
Installed Aperture from DVD and update via Apstore.
Still the same problems so I am asking the form members for help.

Are you having any troubles wiht other applications run from this account?
From what you wrote you seemed to have covered all the bases not sure what else to suggest. What is the system?
Do you have any plugins installed in Aperture ? What about any applications, plugins etc, for this account?
You can try doing a safe boot (hold the shift key down as soon as you hear the start up chime. Hod it until the Apple appears on the screen) Safe boot takes longer to come up, there will be a status bar at the bottom of the screen while it boots. Once it is up you will see Safe Boot in red letters at the top of the screen on the login page. This might not work if you have File Vault turned on.
Once booted in Safe mode log in. Aperture use to not run in Safe mode because the graphics card is restricted but I believe in 3.5. it will run. Note everything will be slow and jerky.
See if that makes a difference. Once done testing boot normally and try it again.

Thunderbolt screen not reacting with Yosemite

I updated this week to Yosemite on my MacBook Pro 2012, connected to a Thunderbolt screen.
All working fine, but as soon as my MacBook goes in sleeping mode, the thunderbolt screen will not react anymore.
MacBook awakes, starts up again, thunderbolt screen stays black.
Only thing that helps is turning electricity off of the screen, put it on again and everything comes to life again.
Didn't have this problem with Mountain Lion or Mavericks.

Im also having an issue with my monitor since I updated to Yosemite. I have a mid 2010 15" mac book pro.
Everything seems to be working fine until i plug in my old apple monitor thru a mini video adaptor. Then
my computer slows and freezes, its unusable. I spent a few hours at the genious bar with my mac book pro
yesterday, tested fine, working fine without the monitor plugged in. Never had an issue with Mavericks or any
other OS.

How can I reset a locked ipad that doesn't react anymore?

i have a problem:
Yesterday all of a sudden my iPad didn't work properly anymore. At first it was flashing ins stripes with different colours. I tried to fix it by shutting the iPad down, but since it was flashing to much it was not possible to click on "shut down". Therefore i just locked it.
After a while I wanted to try again, but as i pressed the home button, the screen got a little lighter, but it didn't turn completely on. (The screen was almost black and you couldn't see any buttons or anything else). And now it even stays completely black and doesn't react to anything anymore.
I wanted to reset the iPad to get to know if it's a hardware or a software problem, but it is locked with a code and since it's not reacting anymore i can't enter it.
By now I've also never synchronised my iPad with my computer.
What can I do? Does anyone have an advice for me?
How can I reset my iPad without entering the Code in the iPad itself?

Hopefully you should be able to reset your iPad, therefore try this: Press and hold both Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.
The Apple logo ought to appear after about 10 seconds.
If you don't see the Apple logo, then this could be bad news.
Normally, the following instructions will resolve a forgotten passcode:

But if you can't see anything on the screen, then it's bad news again.
If you have never synced your iPad with iTunes nor with iCloud, then you won't have a backup of your iPad either. Yes, more bad news, because the data on your iPad is most likely lost.
Try to get at least some life back into your iPad in order to save the data of your device via a backup.

Why does Premiere Elements 12 not react, by trying to start movie over the timeline?

I am using Premiere 12 Elements. Sometimes it happens, today again, that Premiere does not react anymore. It does not crash, I can add Effects oder cut the film, but I can not start the movie on the timeline.
I tried to empty the cache and sometime it helps. But it can be, that it was only accedentely, that it worked then.
My Computerconfig:
Intel I7 Prozessor, 8 GB RAM, 2 Gigabyte HD, Win 8.1 64 bit, AMD Radeon HD5700

Are you working from the 12.1 Update of 12? If not, please do so using an opened project's Help Menu/Update.
I have the actual Update on the Computer. After I installed it about two month ago, I updated it over th Updatebutton and Premiere says to me, that I have the latest Version. My Version is 12.1 (620140 225.12.1.620828).
What is the size of the project when the Timeline playback is not possible? Is this event associated with any particular
added effect, title creation, or video or audio transition placement?
What do you mean with the size of the project? If you mean the size of the videoscreensize, I can give the information, that it is a Full HD Video.
If you mean the size of the Projectdata, it is 994 Kb.
In this project a keymask (4 points) is used, that a video from another track is visible with the mainvideo on Track one. And there are two faders in the video, thats all. No titles and so on.
Where are the Scratch Disks directed and how much free hard drive space is at that location?
Did you install the program to the default Local Disk C?
Do you mean with Scratchdisks the path to the Cache? If so, I tried different pathes. On both Disks are 700 GB free space, butit did not make a difference. I emptied the cache, schanged the pathes, emptied again, but the result was the same. No reaction.
I installed Premiere into the default given path during the installation. And that was c:\Program Files (x86).

Yes, the Videocard is up tp date, I compared my driver Version with the Version on the Website. It is the same . And there is only one Graphic Display in the Device Manager.
When this event happens, how are you getting out of it so that you can move on in that opened project?
I can use the program normal anyway. I can do everything I like, but I can not start the Video over the timeline. Even if I stop the program by leaving it over the regular menu, and doing a restart of the whole computer, the result is the same. The software runs, it loads all the sourcefiles, they are placed on the tmeline and I can do everthing, but not start the video on the timeline.

Homekey does not react

- If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem. An appointment at the genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

[iPhone] view does not react

Hey,
i created a view programmaticaly and want to implement some more functionality. Since a few days, my view does not react anymore to events, except for memory warnings and the rotation of the phone. If i touch a textfield for instance, there is no keyboard showing. It is impossible to scroll, but scrolling is enabled as is userInteraction.
Anyone knows this kind of problem and has some ideas? Just tell me what you think might be the reason. Thanks.

[iPod Touch 3G 32 GB] Auto-Rotate Funktion is not working anymore [Auto-Rotate Lock is not activated]

It seems like i have a very big problem. A few months ago, i noticed first, my iPod wont rotate properly if i tilt it to the left or right sometimes. i had to tilt it twice and than it worked. But after a week, it completly stopped working. Whenever i turned my iPod to the right or left side, nothing happened.
So i had the idea to restart it, which fixed it for a short time. After the restart was done, i was able to tilt for about 2-5 mins, later the problem appeared again
Today, nothing is working. Even in Games my iPod wont tilt or even react to any motion i do...
Well, kinda novel, i know, but i want to be as precise as possible...
so here are the things i already tried:
- Updated iTunes to 10.5.2
- Restored to a Backup
- Restored to the factory settings
- Jailbreaked my iPod to downgrade to an earlier Firmware (from 5.0.1)
- updated again to 5.0.1
- i made sure, the rotation lock is off, so please don´t give me the advice to double tab the homebutton, swipe left and tab on the lock
- started crying and thinking about throwing the iPod out of the window
by the way, my warranty is not active anymore...
so please guys, do you have a solution or even an advice for me?
