Settings>General>Auto-Lock and select an Auto-Lock time (the "Never" setting will of course never auto-lock the device)

Your post says you are on iOS 4.3.2. You need to be at least at iOS 5 to have a "Software Update" capability on your iPad. Right now, you need to update your iPad using iTunes on your computer.
Plug your iPad into iTunes (current version: 11.0.4). Let it sync. Then choose "Check for Updates" from the iPad's summary page in iTunes. -

Need help fixing video shut off after 2 minutes in non-windows mode
Good morning experts in this forum, I need your help solving a hardware/firmware problem of my computer. I have a Hpe 250f computer with Radeon 5700 series video card on it. I recently noticed one strange problem which prevents me from doing any meaningful work in non-windows mode: The video will be shut off after around 2 min if the computer is not in Windows mode. This includes BIOs mode and recovery mode. There is no problem if the computer logs on Windows within 2 minutes. But if I stay in BIOs settings or try to use HP diagnostics or try to recover a backup using windows backups for around 2 min, the monitor will turn blank and the power button of monitor will turn yellow from green indicating no video output to it. It can not wake up by mouse or keyboard. I read that older BIOs have problem with fan speed and I reflashed the BIOs. But it did not work. This problem drives me mad since I had occasional hard drive failures recently and I could not recover my system (That is why I noticed the problem recently, but the problem could have existed when I bought the computer). Now the computer is out of warrenty and I could not find any similar case using Google search. I really appreaciate your help. Thanks
I had the same problem when I upgraded. In my case it definitely was the power supply. In my effort to figure out the problem by swapping components in and out, the dieing power supply killed 2 P8P67 Pro and 2 2500k, and when I tested with the P67A-GD65, the power supply totally died, but the good thing is that the GD65 survived. Swapped in a 430W to test and everything was perfect. At full load with GTX260, it will draw less than 300W, so your power supply is fine to test.

I am trying to print from my iPad to a HP 3520 printer using AirPrint. I have connected the printer to my local wireless network and it confirms it is connected. However my iPad can not find the printer on the network when it searches for it. I am using an AOL supplied router and have read reports that this can cause problems. Is this the case? How do I resolve this issue?

That indeed can be caused by a router as Apple's AirPrint uses Bonjour to communicate with the device.
Bonjour Services relies on IP Multicasting which have to be supported by your network.
To isolate the problem, please follow the steps below to enable Wireless Direct and directly connect the iPad to your printer (which means without using the router).
Once the iPad connected to the Wireless Direct network try printing and check for any difference.
If the printer can be found via the temporary connection but not through your router that indicates lack of Multicast support or wrong configuration of your router.
In such a case be sure to contact AOL and check if the router support Multicasting, if so ensure it is enabled within your router configuration, as well ensure it have the latest firmware installed..

My iphone 6 connects to the car via bluetooth, the music works good, but the phone calls does not work. It looks like it is working but doesn't. I have tried in my Hyundai Sonata and a Dodge Dart rent car and get the same results. I updated the last 8.0.2. It worked the first day i had the phone, and then i updated to Ios 8.0.2 and it quit working.
Now when i get in the car, it acts like it is connected and makes the same call it was on after syncing to bluetooth, but it really isn't on a call. This is happening on both cars.
Does anyone know if this is the phone and i need to take it to Apple or if there is an issue that Apple is working on getting a fix for?
My son in law has the exact same phone as me, we both got the on 10/6, he had a Dodge Dart and his is working via bluetooth.
Someone HELP please, as i consider this a safety issue by not having my calls go to bluetooth.We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE! After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

iTunes will not open, I keep getting the error 7 (windows error 193).
I have tried many recommendations, erasing folders, reinstalling it many time but nothing.
I have a windows 7 Lenovo ideapad.For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you are running 64-bit Windows and the above steps haven't helped try installing the version of iTunes that can be downloaded from this support document. iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)

If I go into settings and physically touch the WiFi that has been used since his was new than after waiting for 2 to 3 min it finally goes on line. I never had any problems until this last update. It always went on line automatically with out having to go into settings. Just a pain. Once I do this it usually stays on line.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.

I am not exactly sure why the menu did not detect the password change or if it was stored incorrectly after you changed it? Do you know if is possible to change this setting?We have this problem as well. Unfortunately after years of only supporting IE and finally rewriting our site to be standards compliant we are going to have to force users back to IE because of this issue. It's not feasible for us to walk users through changing the default viewer. The default should stay Adobe (if installed) until a more robust native version is available. I understand you want to promote free and open tools but if they don't work, it's just not good enough.

I found that the leading is not automatically done in Indesign, Ihave attached to files where equation have overlapped while working with mathmagic. iPad--third generation shuts off antenna/hotspot after a few minutes of non-use.
Happens in 3G and LTE VZ environment.
Turning hotspot off and on getsw things working again.
Does Apple have antenna on a timer so it shuts off after a few minutes?
Does this happen on Mini and Retina as well?

Two things together have restored connectivity.
1. I changed the name under Settings > General > About > Name from My Name's iPad to iPad of My Name. I read somewhere that iOS 7.0.1 or 7.0.2 (I forget which) sometimes had issues with apostrophes here. Easy enough to test.
2. I then reset (again) the APN settings under Settings > Cellular Data > APN Settings > Personal Hotspot and reentered our provider's info (APN, Username, Password) there.
I don't know WHY it worked, but the personal hotspot is now happily sharing (again) internet connectivity with my MacBook Pro. -

The wlan connection on my N8 does not automatically terminate after using mail and sometimes ovistore after anna update - I have wlan scanning off and power saves enabled - is there an obvious setting I am missing or is this another nokia power saving concept ?

BoothySame problem, automatically disconnects sometimes and not others. Its annoying having to manually disconnect the wlan each time.
Plus its happening with the 3g connection, the solid lines appear to say the 3.5g is being used after looking at e-mail from the homescreen widget. Made sure e-mail prog was shut and no apps running and widgets were set to offline mode, but still open 3G connection
before Anna update I used to be able to go to connection manager and disconnect, now the connection doesn't appear in connection manager even though I know its active.
Put the phone in offline mode, then back on again, connection is then dropped and the lines are broken again showing no 3g connection active.
Whats going on, why are the applications not terminating the used connection when the program has been terminated?
