My iphone 3g is not working, im getting no service/searching at the top of phone, ive put the phone in recovery mode an still nothing, please help??

I had this same issue last week with my 3g. Did you happen to recently have your carrier unlock your phone? I did, and I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
For me, it started with loosing the signal, then after shutting down and turning on my phone about 3 times, I got a message saying that I would need to do a restore. When I tried to do the restore, it went through all the steps until step 6 or 7 I think and then I just get an error message on itunes that says there was error 1- or -1 and that the restore failed. My phone now just shows a pic of a usb plug with a globe above. Total fail. It was an old phone and as I was out of contract and just waiting to get the new iphone 5, I just went and got the new phone. The only issue now is that I cannot sync my new iphone and get all of my contacts, apps, files, etc etc which is totally annoying to say the least and a whole different story!

Apple does not have an international warranty. If the phone was purchased in the US, it must be serviced in the US, in warranty or out of warranty. Also, Apple will not accept international shipments...the phone must be physically returned to an Apple store in the US or mailed from within the US.

According to this article, that means the Shuffle's buttons are disabled.

To re-enable the buttons, press and hold the Play/Pause button for about 3 seconds or until the status light blinks green three times.

If it says your billing info is wrong that means that your credit card issuer is refusing to approve your account. You will have to solve the problem with your bank or credit card company.

Syning with iTunes is completely separate from iCloud, except that if you have elected to sync calendars and contacts with iCloud you cannot sync them with iTunes.
What iTunes media are you having problems syncing to your iPhone?

Why is my iphone 4 suddenly not working after being forced to "restore to iTunes" and automatic update to iOs7. Phone has been restored, reset and recovered. Will not activate to server. I need a new phone Apple!!

I heard about all the problems with the new iOs 7 update but also heard Apple would force me to do it. I tried to update but didn't have enough space. Had to delete ALOT of my apps and still not enough space. Phone was working perfectly fine and message pops up that "I will not have any service until I restore to iTunes. I plug into laptop to restore and it forces me to update to iOs7. Takes 3 hours. It updates but phone doesn't restore. Have tried all the troubleshooting tips:reset to factory settings, recover etc. Got a new SIM card because it said I don't have one but I do. Apple support wouldn't help me because I was out of warranty, and said I would have to pay. Went to the Apple store and they couldn't fix it and said "it's a hardware issue" that will cost me $170.00+. I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THE NEW iO7 FRIED MY PHONE'S HARDWARE. The phone is on the HELLO stage and keeps searching but will not activate to server- it's temporarily unavailable. Have tried multiple times.I have a 3 year contract with Rogers and the phone is less than 2 years old. Apple needs to take responsibility for crashing my phone. I NEED A FREE NEW PHONE!!!

Restore it to factory settings, then set it up from your back up. Did this last year when I got my new iPod, and it worked. I have no idea why syncing OTA can sometimes glitch, but hopefully this will help.

This sounds like you have tried the steps I would recommend. You said, "tried restoring and restting it but still nothing??"
1. When you are done Restoring Firmware, does iTunes show your iPhone's information. If yes then your iPhone is ON and working. Next step is to Reset, like you tried, but do it again, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone restarts, usually less than 15 seconds. If still no screen, hold iPhone in bright light and look at screen, is an image there? If yes, you have a "No Backlight Problem".
2. If still no image, but you have confirmed iPhone is on with iTunes or switching Vibrate Switch and getting vibration. Then take iPhone to Apple and ask Genius to reconnect the Flex Cable #1 LCD Display Flex to the Logic Board. Before opening and during all repairs it is best if the iPhone 3GS is OFF.

My iPhone 4 is in recovery mode...Someone please help!

I plugged my iPhone into to my computer to sync it and next thing you know it went to a black screen and when I tried to turn it back on, it tells me to connect to itunes. When I tried to connect to itunes it tells me to restore and update it. Even when I press restore it tells me my iphone is not recognized and is now in recovery mode... Someone please tell me how to get it out of recovery mode!

I've just had the same problem, first of all don't give up! follow the steps which Modular 747 suggests or do a hard reset, which entails holding the on/off button at the top of the phone and the home button, for around 30 seconds, once the phone powers on, let go of the on/off button but continue to hold the home button down, as soon as the message changes to 'connect to itunes' plug the USB plug back in, itunes should now detect the iphone and will restore it.
If this fails, repeat the steps, I had to do it twice before it worked.
