MY IPHONE IS BLACKED OUT!!!

My iphone 5s completely blacked out. it was working fine literally two seconds ago, then i put it down walk away, come back and now its blacked out, it wont turn on. the battery was fully charged. i tried to do the restore through itunes, but it wont connect to itunes. I tried to hold down the home button and sleep button but that wouldnt work either. i called apple and they had no answers and told me to wait until monday. i work and need my phone to be turned back on! Its never done this before! =( HELP! PLEASE! The last app i was using was messages. I dont have my contacts backed up =(

Next time make regular backups of your computer. The iPhone is not a backup device, and I'm sure you lost more than your iTunes library. See this user tip for your options: Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive

Upon updating 5.1 iphone 4 blacked out with white line through screen and nonstop vibrating

i was updating lastest version my iphone 4 through icloud until screen blacked out with white line in middle of screen and started vibrating non stop.
tried a hard and soft reboot NOTHING WORKED
phone died
put back on charger
same problem screen would brown out and fade to black.
now it won't turn on.
fed up #FIX

phone lost full charge upon charging again now i have colored lines running horizontal through screen then vertical.
hard restart does nothing again.
but its no longer vibrating.
seems like serious software issue.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Have you tried to delete the contact and then re add them?

hi, i was wondering if anyone else's iphone 4 just blacked out on them. by "blacked out", i mean, no home screen, no power, and all the buttons are unresponsive. i hit the home and power button a thousand times and the phone never turned back on.
eventually, i held the home and power button and the phone powered on. this has happened to me twice since the 4.2 upgrade. anyone else had this happen to them?

I apologize but I had a specific question for merged content 1 and have no idea of another way to contact this person. I have spent hours with apple tech support to no avail. I read an old blog he was posting in and seemed to be "the man" or "woman" (MC1 just sounds like a male name.. haha) on ATVs (apple tvs). I cannot get my ipad mini or iphone 5 to mirror of even airplay with my ATV 3 after just taking it to the family room of my house and hooking it up down there for just a few minutes. No matter what we have tried, I mean every thing, I have a pretty extensive network of multimeda equipment, but i have taken it down to just the ATV and router....to luck. I cannot get that icon to appear and we have tried it all. I can however use it as and audio output source... If you or anyone else (just PM me or send me to the propler spot please!). feel free can offer any assistance in finding a solution I would be very appreciative. I know I can just trade it in for a new one but it might not fix the problem. Once again my aplogies to everyone on this blog. If there is a way to PM a specific bloggist, please let me know this is the first time I have done this and hopefully the last!

Have you tried charging it for atleast 20 minutes? if you haveopen up itunes on your computer then hold the home button while plugging it in to the computer. Keep holding it for another 30 seconds and see if you get a message saying itunes has detected a phone in recovery mode

IPhone 4s blacks out since IOS7.2 latest upgrade

I have upgraded to a 4S from a 4 IPhone. It has the upgrade IOS.7.2 (the latest) upgrade for the software). With these 2 changes, I have had episodes where the phone goes black and I cannot use it.....until it decides to come back for maybe, a short time and then does it again. I went back to see the Genuis and they said it was a software glitch and supposedly fixed it. The problem continued starting the next day. So, I went back a 3rd time and was provided a brand new Iphone (this is the 2nd one in a week). We put the IOS.7.2 upgrade on it as well......and guess what? The problem is continuing. Obviously, it's not the hardware; the Iphone itself. It must be in the new software. BUT if the Genuis' can't fix it, what do I do? Anyone know what it is and how to fix it???

Have the exact same issue, and after spending over one hour at the Genius Bar I was told by the store manager that the only way to solve the issue was to buy a replacement phone because it wasn't IOS 7 to caused the issue but it was the wireless chip that was going to break regardless, and the iOS upgrade just accelerated the issue...
I have even showed her the plenty of threads like this one about the issue and she said they were all coincidences.
The thing is that the phone was brand new as it was replaced by apple 6 moths ago and super well taken care off...
I have been an iPhone user since the first hour and never had an issue till the 4s.
I'm super disappointed with the apple customer serviceman lack of care towards long time customers.
If you know your old phones won't work with the new iOS do not offer the upgrade.
It seems to me like a poor scheme to sell more new generation iPhones, since you can't even downgrade the iOS 6.
Now I'm stuck with a $600 clunker that can barely make phone calls since the 4g antenna is compromised, and that it's battery drains within 4 hours in plane mode wth no apps running.
I'm sad to say but it is time to get a windows phone or an android.
Shame on you apple...

Okay, so today my old iPhone 4 turned off and won't turn back on not even when I plug it in! This iPhone has not been jail broken so did the iPhone finally die?

Charge for at least 15 minutes with the wall charger, then hold the HOME and SLEEP button until somthing happens. Ideally you will see an Apple logo, and a minute or so later the phone will be working again. If you see anything else follow instructions. If nothing happens after 30 seconds of holding both buttons the phone is probably dead.

Doesnt show anything but siri works, and makes noise. There has been a similar thread and the solution was to restart the phone by holding down the lock and home button at the same time but my lock button doesnt work !! PLEASE HELP ASAP!

did you tap the Home Button (Middle circle) to turn it on, then go to settings>accessibility>Assistive Touch>Turn it on (Top one)
Now there should be a circle in a square, tap it and you get more options, such as for you: Tap the Circle>Device>Lock Screen and your screen will be off.
