My iPhoto keeps crashing, i can open it but the coloured ball just keeps going on it and i can access my photos or load them up?? HELP!!!

Try to restart your Mac and try again.  I see from the hang, that if was hanging when accessing the data and time.
Did you just change your system preferences while iPhoto was open? That can crash open applications.
If that has not been the reason, test, if iPhoto will work on a new, empty library.
As a test, launch iPhoto while holding down the alt/options key and create a new library from the library chooser panel. Does that work?
