Very likely. Try restoring the iPod. First from backup and then try to factory defaults/new iPod. If still problem then it is very likely a hardare problem.

I was trying to erase all my data off my iPod 5th Gen, after I start the process it all starts well until the very last step (I think) will just not complete the job it's just stuck on the same screen it has been for the last 3 days ind the only thing i can do is hold the power and home button until it either reboots or it turns off when i stop the reboot short. The screen looks like when you updating an apple product and all there is, is the apple symbol and the loading bar. But the loading bar isn't filled at all. What should I do???

It works when I turn it to the right, but not the left. I also can't turn it back into portrait mode when I'm done. I've tried rebooting it, and the accelometer seems to be working in an app such as Emoji Free, where I tilt the device to move the Emoji.

That's an ongoing problem with this recent version of iPhoto as you can see from the topics at the right under "More Like This". The workaround that works for all is to export the photos to a folder on the Desktop and upload to Facebook with your browser until a fix is found.

I changed the cracked screen on my 3gs, and screen works but it will not boot up and go past the Apple screen.

I tried recovery at least three times, and it says that it can not complete the activation at this time. I did take my Sim card out and try as well, because I had to use it in my old phone. I reopened the phone and double checked that everything was plugged back in from the screen change. What went wrong??? I restored it before and everything worked fine. It's not hacked or jailbroke, so I don't know what's going on???? Please help!

Yes, i did. I bought a screen repair kit and it was very simple to change. it works, but its stuck in recovery mode...

It shows that it is plugged in and it goes back and forth from the Apple screen to it being plugged in, but it's been hours and it's not charging at all. This is my first time dealing with this. I just put it on an iPod dock to charge and it worked that way instead! I guess it has more power charging it that way then a plug in the wall or plugging it into the computer. THANK GOD! I don't want to lose what I have on it!
