My itouch kicks me back to app screen every time I try to play games. It starts to download and just jumps back to app screen. How can I fix this?

Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore.

I want to download lion onto my computer but the computer keeps asking me what app I want to open it with. What does that mean? How do you know what app to open it with? Help!

That isn't the way it worked for me.
Once I download the installer from the App Store, I was able to open it and install Lion.
I would suggest trying to download it again.
If the same thing happens again, you shopuld discuss this with the App Store Support.

Did you download it using iTunes for Windows, or did you download it directly to an iOS device?

Firefox suddenly reconfigured itsself. The File tool bar is now gone, the browser wants to go to Bing,and several apps have appeard that I dodn't ask for. What happened? How do I fix it?

This morning Firefox was working fine. Then it suddenly reconfigured itself. The File, Edit, History bar went away, as did the bar that tells me what web site I am on, and the next bar that allows me to manually enter a URL and to search via google or Yahoo, ect.
At startup the browser sends me to Bing, and it keeps trying to activate applications I have not asked for.
What happened and how do I fix it?

hello, this sounds like the files in your [[Profiles|profile folder]] that store the information about your extensions might have become corrupted. please go to ''firefox > help > troubleshooting information > profile - show folder...'' then windows explorer should open up your profile folder. in there look for the files named extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite, extensions.sqlite-journal (and in some cases also extensions.txt, extensions.rdf). delete or rename those files and quit firefox, they will be regenerated the next time you launch firefox.
