My itunes and iphone are not working together. all my software is up to date. what i can do? i need to manage my phone!!

I'm getting extremely frustrated with my iphone and mac.
i have the iphone 4, and the mac is leopard.
I plugged my phone it to manage my music, and a message popped up saying i needed software 10.6.8 or higher.
so i downloaded the 10.7. it's still not working!
i have very little space left on my phone and i need to manage everything.
what do i do??

Please don't just state version numbers, also state which software. iTunes 10.7 requires OSX 10.6.8 or higher. Leopard is OSX 10.5.8. You have two alternatives right now. One is to stay with Leopard for a while (ultimately you should upgrade) and install iTunes 10.6.3 which is the last version to work with Leopard. This should work with iOS6 on an iPhone4. The other is to call Apple and order OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and upgrade the computer to 10.6.8 which will allow you to run iTunes 10.7. The caveat is we know nothing about which computer you run and if it even can run any system higher than Leopard.

Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About this Mac" and "More Info..." If it says something about Intel or Core Duo or Core 2 Duo in the processor you can upgrade to Snow Leopard (assuming you have sufficient RAM/"memory"). If it says PPC or PowerMac, you cannot.

I have icloud installed on both my ipad and iphone. When I buy new apps they are on my ipad but don't appear on my phone. I am obviously doing something wrong. What is it?

Have you checked your Apple Store and iTunes settings (Settings > iTunes & App Stores)? Make sure that "Automatic Downloads" for Music, Apps, Books are turned on.

Google Calendar maps and iPhone maps not working together anymore

For several months I was accessing google calendar through Safari. I was able to click on the map link and it would take me to the iPhone maps. About a week ago it started to take me to Google mobile map page, which is not integrated into anything on the iPhone maps such as that GPS thingy which is kind of useful. Anyone have any thoughts on how I can get this to go back?
I did the upgrade to 2.2 already and no changes.

I agree. I posted about this about a month ago and the only answer I got was that perhaps it was the way which google was choosing to handle the functionality. I think the feature where you can click on an address in your Google Calendar (and it should work on your Iphone Calendar as well), and it comes up in the Iphone Maps application, is completely necessary, as the map in safari is basically worthless. I had previously bragged about this feature, and now it's gone?! BRING IT BACK!

Itunes and Quicktime are not working

On my computer, when you click on quicktime it shows the hourglass then goes away and nothing happens. When you click on itunes it sends an error message. I was looking through some of the old solutions that have been given and there were some similar to my case. One was the exact but I have no idea what an codec is. Can someone help?

have you ever installed an ACE or K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, or a copy of QT Alternative, or a copy of Storm Codec on the PC?
also head into your Control panel and try launching your QuickTime control panel. does it open properly, or do you get an error message? if you get an error message, what does it say? include error message numbers if you're getting any.

Airport Express and Extreme are not working together

My new airport extreme came up just fine. All my Macs and PCs connected effortlessly.
The same can not be said for my Airport Express. I reset it, and it takes the config, then vanishes. Connected directly to my Mac, to the Airport Express, or via wireless to the express, it still just disappears and gives a blinking amber light.
I tried re-installing 6.3 firmware, with no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks for the clarification. The behavior you're encountering sounds as if it may be the expected behavior of an Airport Express after it has been set to client mode, but wasn't able to join the network. Typically when setting up an Airport Express you'd want the unit to be in the same room as the Extreme, and then if the Airport LED is not going green then it's typically an authentication association relates situation. I'm using MBP 15" late 2008 with Maverick OS. A couple of days ago, the internal keyboard and trackpad are not working at all. I did all the troubleshooting. I even reformat it; installing the snow leopard and re-installing the maverick but no good result. I believe there's no problem with my keyboard because i can still do PRAM on my lappy. Everytime i'm booting up my MBP, it always looking for bluetooth trackpad and keyboard. I have not used those bluetooth peripherals from day 1 i've started using MBP. I just read on the internet about the same problem has happened on MBP 13" retina and APPLE fixed it by updating the software. I wish Apple will also do something for the old MBP to fix the intermal keyboard and trackpad problem.

Plug your Ipad USB cable into USB port.
Go to your Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, then click Device Manager.
Click on Portable Devices, and you should see Apple Ipad shown (or whatever apple device your using).
Right-click the Apple Device your using, and choose Update Driver Software..
Click "Browse my computer for driver software."
Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
Click the Have Disk button. (If the Have Disk option is not present, choose a device category such as Mobile Phone or Storage Device if listed, and click next. The Have Disk button should then appear.)
In the "Install from Disk" dialog, click the Browse button.
Use this window to navigate to the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.

There are three Airport resets, soft, hard and factory default. It would probably be beneficial if you tried each one in sequence. Actually, you could jump to the factory default reset if you don't mind reconfiguring from scratch.

You have a couple of options to get them in your photo stream:
Open the photos one at a time and take a screenshot. This will add a new low resolution copy of the photo to the camera roll, which will then upload to your photo stream;
Email the photos a few at a time to yourself, then save the attached photos to your camera roll. This will add a copy of the photo at full resolution to your camera roll and upload to photo stream;
Use an app like PhotoSync, which will allow you to wirelessly transfer copies of all your old photos to your computer all at once. Then delete these photos from your camera roll and use PhotoSync to transfer them back from your computer to your camera roll. These will be the original resolution and will upload to your photo stream. (You need an app like this because iTunes will not transfer photos back to your camera roll, where they must be in order to add to your photo stream.)
Or, you can add them to a shared stream and invite yourself as a subscriber (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99). The shared stream will appear on your iPad and you can either leave things this way, or save them to the camera roll on your iPad and delete the shared stream. They won't be in your photo stream but they will at least be on your iPad.
