My iTunes is frozen when I open it on my iPad.

A hard reboot didn't work. What can I do?
How can I get iTunes to close and then be able to use it again.

Have you tried closing the iTunes app completely and then seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with iTunes 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iTunes app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset (not sure if this is what you mean by a hard reboot) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Help, my iTunes froze and when I opened it back up, it looked like it did when I first installed it 2 yrs ago. An Apple rep helped me uninstall and reinstall about 2 weeks ago, but it did it again. My questions is this: My files are all there in iTunes Music file. How do I get them back on the application? My warranty expired Sunday 9-18-11. They were helping me with podcast issues and artwork being messed up so this is a different issue. I am so frustrated and my attempts are futile. Please help.

What did you do to iTunes and the library folder to troubleshoot the podcast issues? Try undoing whatever you did, you can also try looking for previous iTunes libraries folder or re-creating the iTunes library.
If that doesn't work, you'll have to import the music again.

There isn't currently any music, films or TV programmes available in the South Korean store, so you will only see iTunes U in the iTunes store app. You can't use the US store unless you are in the US, you have to be in a country to use its store (that is in the Store's terms) - so whilst you are in South Korea you can only use the South Korean store.
Are there other music purchase download sites in South Korea that you could use ? You can also copy your CDs via your computer's iTunes

You might try this tip....iTunes 11.1.3 appears to have flawed permissions:
Repair permissions either with Disk Utility in the Applications/Utilities folder or on the command line with:
diskutil repairPermissions /

Also we want to double-click the Home button and swipe the Task Bar to the right.
Then make sure the button on the far left of Task Bar is not muted.

My Mac has 4 mail accounts coming into it, but you are correct, one of them is a POP account, (and unfortunately it is the main @ account, and is the one associated with my apple id, since we've had it for years). I couldn't figure out how to replace this with the Imap version, short of deleting that account entirely.
Is this what I have to do?

When I open safari on my iPad 2 and browse for a while, when I close safari on my background of the home if leaves the address bar imprint and also down the side of the background it leaves white lines from the web browser. I've also noticed it when using various apps aswell. It's not just safari. I've also tryed different background images and it still does it!

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Itunes shuts down when I open store

I just updated to the newest version of iTunes for Windows. I also just updated to Windows 8.1. When I open iTunes, it works great until I open the store. I get an error message that says "iTunes has stopped working" and itunes shuts down. Any help would be appreciated

Some more info.................I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and Quicktime. No fix. I can access the store on my other desktop computer which I also updtated to the newest version, so I think it's some setting in my laptop. As I said, it works great until I click on "iTunes Store" then it shuts the whole program down.

ITunes is freezing when it opens

Recently, my iTunes began freezing whenever it is opened. I have a video (that I made myself) that is loaded onto my iPod and some parts of it appear to have been lost. When iTunes is started a box pops up saying it cannot find a particular clip. I have attempted to delete the movie several times as I have it stored on DVD but I can't get past this section. The program completely freezes and becomes unresponsive. Help! I can't purchase new songs or update my iPod until I can get the program to work again.

I have a 2G iPod touch and just last week I downloaded iTunes version 8.0.2, and now itunes freezes. I just tried opening it, and it was frozen. I thought it was just doing it when I connected my iPod the USB. Is this the problem you're having? Has anyone figured out what's going on? Whenever I connect my Ipod Nano to my Dell Laptop, the iTunes appears and gets frozen. When I disconnect it, the iTunes works normally. I connect the Ipod, the iTunes does not work. What do I do????

Never mind...i actually found some advice thru the forums and fixed it up myself. My Ipod and ITunes are working now.

When I look at my dock it has the arrow saying that iTunes is open and when i right click there is the option to force quit. I have tried this however and it will not force quit. Also, when I click on it the window won't come up.
I don't want to uninstall it because I would lose all of the songs on my library. Please Help! Thank you.

A re-start might do the trick. If not try repair permissions, restart. Last ditch effort, reinstall. None of this will harm your iTunes Library, I agree with JimmyJamez420. I have reinstalled iTunes a few times as well.

ITunes not responding when I open it

After not using iTunes for about a week, I opened it and was prompted to download the most recent version of iTunes. I did so, and followed the commands throughout the downloading process (or so I thought), but now when I click to open iTunes, it does not do anything. Even when I connect my iPod to my computer, it iTunes does not open or recognize it. What should I do? If I remove and reinstall iTunes, will I lose all the music already on there?

Im having the same problem. I always open up the Windows Task Manager. When I click on the shortcut, ITunes appears in the Processes Tab, but then disappears after a few seconds. This has been happening to me for about a year, and i used to be able to open it by following the instructions below:
1) Go to "start" and click "run"
2) Type in "msconfig" and click OK
3) Click on the "servives" tab
4) MAKE SURE TO CHECK "hide all microsoft services"
5) Click on "disable all"
6) Check "Ipod Service"
7) Click on the "Startup" tab
8) Press "Disable All"
9) Check "Itunes Helper" and "qttask"
10) Click OK and Restart
I hope this helps. In the past i have been able to use this, but i guess there's a different problem with my iTunes this time. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
