This seems to be a common problem with Mountain Lion. While we all have MacBooks in this forum most of us don’t run Mountain Lion. If you want to change your iCloud ID or password on your phone go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated information. Note: this only deletes the account and any synced data from your phone, not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts it will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.

You have to provide your computer's administrator password in order to install Flash Player.

There is only one thing that happens -- the Server does not respond.
Your mac concludes that you must have entered the wrong password. That may happen once, but then other issues become more likely, and it keeps asking for a new password.
Sometimes the Server is down for maintenance. Sometimes something is configured wrong. Some services do this on purpose to get you to use WebMail (pick up your Mail with your Browser) so they can show you some ads. -

On your iPad, delete the existing account then sign back in with the new ID and password.

You normally need to provide some sort of payment method (in part as proof of residence in the country) before you can get even the free apps. It is possible to set up a new iTunes Store account just for free apps, but you have to create a new Apple ID; you cannot use an existing one. If you want to do that, take a look here:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note again that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free content without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

After use, I shut the screen down and now a red light is flashing where the sleep indicator is, when I open the computer up it asks for a password, but my computer doesn't have a lock on it?
Regarding your new Guest Account.
If it is the Guest User created by Find My Mac, it is advisable that you leave it be in order to maintain the functionality of the Find My Mac system. It is not a typical guest account. A person can't use the account to log into the system. It only permits the user (presumably a thief) to use a crippled version of Safari, in which the thief will reveal his/her location, hopefully to an end result wherein you may be able to recover the stolen computer.
The very nature of this unique guest account is to increase the security of the system, not to degrade it as a typical guest account might do. -
My ipod will not connect to my home wifi, it can see it and asks for a password but will not connect. I have tried it at another location and it will connect to other wifi connections. I have another ipod that is connecting just fine to my home wifi.

10.5.8 Safari in new user accounts is asking for session password

Since I upgrade the server to 10.5.8, Safari is asking for session password (login.keychain) when a user first log in and goes on the web. Deleting the login.keychain on the server template doesn't help much since Safari is complaining that there is no keychain and ask to rebuild it.
If I try to reinitialize the keychain in the user account, I must enter the _template password_.
How can I get Leopard to create a new login.keychain for Safari everytime a new user login?

Actually, should I just get rid of Safari and force everybody to use Firefox to avoid future problem? As a tech, I met very few issues with Firefox compare to Safari.

Normally you will be asked to confirm software installation and updates, which is what that window should be for. However, the "Name" is the "User" name as shown in System Preferences > Users & Groups. Is "apple" your User name? If not, try entering what your User name is and then the password that goes with it. -

Mail (gmail account) constantly asking for password

My wife has a 3gs
She originally setup her mail using the phones built in gmail account step by step method. While using this, her phone was constantly saying it could not access the gmail server.
So, I setup her mail with gmail using the google sync/Exchange method.
Now it is constantly asking her for her gmail password. When you enter the password, nothing happens and it asks again. The problem seems to be intermittent.
I have a 3g iphone setup the exact same way, and I have never had either of these problems.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!Here's the deal, because of spammers, especially automated computer spammers google uses what is called a captcha lock to block smtp for your account until you prove you're human, and the account owner, and not some computer spammer. The lock can be triggered by the mere fact of setting up your gmail account on a mobile device, like the iphone. Computers, generally, can't read the captcha code, only a human can read it & enter the code correctly. Same reason that when using wifi, other than when at home or at your place of business you may find you can receive email, but can't send. Most wifi providers block all smtp in an effort to stop spammers. Sad, but you can blame spammers for this.
