I would suggest looking into a Thunderbolt to HDMI connector. In this case, you may be able to use the TV as an external monitor. For this option, please confirm through additional research. I have not tested it personally.
You can also use an Apple TV, which connects with HDMI. In this case, you can use Airplay Mirroring. Not all Macs support Airplay Mirroring, so you need to check first. I have a Mid-2011 27" iMac, and it supports Airplay Mirroring. I don't use it often because my TV is in another room, but I just tried it and it worked. Develop a console application called HospitalRosteringSystem that reads input files containing staff data and prints to standard output, a table representing a weekly staffing roster for a Hospital ward. The Hospital ward has 3 x 8 hour shifts per day, 7 days a week. On every shift there must be exactly 2 doctors and 4 nurses. There are 2 separate input files for doctors and nurses. These plaintext files are called doctors.dat and nurses.dat and are included in the project directory. You may assume that each file will contain no more than 100 names and that each name is unique.
The application should also print out a summary of the total number of hours worked by each staff member to a file called summary.dat
The format of the summary file should be similar to the following example (only the first 4 staff members are included in this example for the sake of brevity):

I have tried turning my phone, and laptop off, I also uninstalled and re-installed iTunes.

It sounds like you are unable to see your phone in iTunes after the computer turned off unexpectedly during an iOS update. I recommend resetting the phone first, and then attempting to restore with iTunes again.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

You should still be under warranty. First try rebooting the iPhone by pressing and holding both the Home and Sleep buttons at the same time until the Apple symbol appears, ignoring the power off slider. You should get indications of life within about 10 seconds while holding the buttons.

I am having trouble loging in to FAcetime with my normal apple ID, it says its not connected but the id works with itunes etc. any suggestions???
I seem to be having the same issue, however, no browser has worked for me.
I have tried on my windows pc, Firefox, IE, Chrome and Safari. When this all failed I went to my parent's iMac and logged into my itunes account there and used Safari on their machine but I got an error saying that the itunes store wasn't avaliable. I authorized that computer as well.

1. Turn the iPad off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPad for a few seconds, until a red slider appears. Then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
2. Reset iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If iPad still won't respond after you restore it
Follow these steps, testing after each:
1. If you receive an alert in iTunes while restoring your iPad, refer to this article for instructions on how to resolve common issues with updating and restoring.
2. If you cannot restore your iPad in iTunes, or if iTunes does not recognize the device, refer to this article for instructions on restoring using recovery mode.

At 3 I clock this morning I woke up to find my iPhone 4S was baking hot. Not a problem, I just unplugged it. When I woke up 3 hours later all of my battery had gone. It did this yesterday for the first time. It was on charge all night, I didn't use it all day but when I went to get it at 4.30pm it had died.
Sounds like you have corrupt backup data, if this occurs from one phone to another. Try restoring the phone as a new device, without a backup. Try using for a day before installing any other apps, etc. See if that improves the battery life. Then try syncing back applications a couple at a time. Something seems to be locking in the processor which is draining the battery.
Do you live in an area where there are Apple Stores? If so, try making an appointment with the Genius Bar to have the device checked out. -
I have just purchased a new macbook and need to sync my iphone with itunes, i understand that you can only sync your phone with one itunes account. I do not want to wipe my iphone when syncing with this new itunes account. Any advice welcome
1) authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it. -

I plugged my iPad in to charge last night. I plugged it into the wall and I have never had any problems. I have had this iPad for a little over a month. This morning, when I went to look something up, it wasn't responding. It won't turn on, I get nothing on the screen, and if I plug it in to charge, to the wall or my computer, nothing happens. Has anyone else had this issue? I can't think of what else to try or what to do next.
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help I suggest having a technician look at your iPad. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
