My mom wanted me to change her Apple ID and password but every time I go into her iCloud to put a password in it tells me I'm wrong. I don't know what to do!

What should I do to her apple account can I delete this one and set up a new one what do I do?

Have you tried holding the power button down for several seconds? I would try the force quit as mentioned earlier first, or go to the Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities and try force quit there.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

Recently changed my Apple ID and primary but emails go to previous primary email

Recently changed my Apple ID and primary email adress. Later I used the new Apple ID to download apps in Appworld. Then an email was sent by Apple to my OLD primary email indicating that the account has been used.
My old Email adress was my previous work and now they are receiving my security emails.
How do I change this that these security emails also go to my new primary email adress? New email adress was verified and in use.

You'll see that option after tapping on the email address. But you say that's grayed out... do you have restrictions enabled? Go to Settings > General > Restrictions. If they're on, it will ask for your restrictions passcode (could be different from the lock screen passcode). Enter the code and check if changes to "Accounts" have been restricted (you'll have to scroll down to see this).

Sign Out of your Account... Then.. Sign in using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

HT5312 I cannot use my apple id because every time I get into my account with the correct password, it prompts me for security questions which I've forgotten my answers. It does not let me reset my security questions even using a rescue email. Help!!!

I feel like I'm in an infinite loop. I have all of the information correct except my security questions -- I set them up quickly and forgot what I answered. Per the FAQs on Apple's website, I should be able to get a rescue email that allows me to reset the answers to the questions, however all I get is a rescue email to reset my password. This is my first time trying to use this account and I can't get around the security questions. Can anyone help me? I just want to download some music to my mini iPad.

Every time I log in to my icloud account, I get an email notifying me that I have done so. I don't want this and can't figure out how to stop receiving them.

You can't actually stop them. If they are coming to your iCloud address you could go to the iCloud website, go to the Mail page, click on the cogwheel icon at bottom left, choose 'Rules' and set up a Rule to move all messages from [email protected] to another folder you previously created, or the Trash. If they are coming to a non-Apple address you can do the same thing in the Mail app on your Mac (presumably also on mobile devices though I don't know about that).

TS4006 I was able to get a location on my stolen MBP but I didn't get the email notification in time to log into to iCloud to view the location, it is only viewable for 24 hours. Does anybody know how to get that info back? I've been on the phone w/Apple

Does anyone know how to get in touch with iCloud support directly? All iCloud support roads lead to CPU tech support. My stolen MBP finally came online and gave a location but I didn't check my email for a couple days, was sick, and iCloud only displays location map for 24 hours. Desperatly trying to regain the location info. I live in a small town so location info might actually lead to the recovery of my baby.

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers

OpenDNS IP Addresses
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

I changed my ID on my mac, verified it in iTunes, but when I go to iCloud, it asks for the password for my old ID. The only option it gives is to go to 'Manage your Apple ID' which brings me back to my new ID. It's a vicious circle! How do I get iCloud to recognize my new ID?

if you are talking about the iCloud website, then it sounds as if you have auto-entry going on. You need to clear the login field and enter the new ID and then the new password, and elect to save these when prompted.

if yes, one of those serial number prompts will be for the previous version.

To download/install an app directly to the iPod you need available storage equal to about three times the file download size. Syncing the app to the iPod requires a lot less. Thus you either have to free up more storage or sync the app from your computer.

what browser? have you tried another browser could be your browser settings which cause it you can also try another computer

Why not? That's essentially all the install does, removes the old version and installs the new version.
