Sam, that second script I posted should do that for you. Use a select-object statement to limit the output to the properties you want to see.

have CS3 (all available updates) + WinXP SP3 - I can open one photo & close it without problems. If I try to open a second photo via bridge or direct from "My Pictures" I get the error msg: could not complete your request because of a programme error. Used fix "Photoshop CS3 or Photoshop Elements 6 crashes when you open more than one image (Windows)" i.e. created a dummy printer as a default which worked initially but no longer. Any other ideas? Is the dummy printer still default?
Are you opening/saving files or printing over a network?

You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.
This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.
1 I have tried using a dummy printer as a default AND as I have two printers, the one I do not use to print photos as the default. No joy either way.
2 No I am not on a network - the printers are directly connected to my PC

I dont know if this helps at all: When I open the first photo I do so, so as to use page set up (with view to performing a batch print). I alter in that dialogue box from the default printer to the one I wish to use. On closing the 1st photo I have tried both "save changes" and "dont save changes". Neither makes any difference if I then try to open a second (or indeed the same 1st photo).
Any other ideas or is it simplier (though more costly) to upgrade to CS4? Incidentally any idea if CS5 is due soon?

Hi, I'm using a powerbook g4 with osx 10.4.9 with Ichat AV 3.1.8 with the apple isight web cam. I'm trying to connect with a family member who's using a logitech quickcam pro 4000 camera with updated logitech software on a pc with the latest Vista operating system. We're up and running with AIM and can send text messages but we can't communicate using the web cams. my family member and myself can get an image of ourselves with our own web cams, so the cameras are working, we just can't see each other. I'm also using an airport extreme, I don't know whether this makes any difference or not. My firewall is set to off. If any of you have any ideas on how to get this stuff up and running, I would apreciate your help. Thank you!

ON the PC they will still have to allow it though the Firewall
Hopefully the Vista Firewall has not changed too much from XP

My camera doesn't work any ideas?

I just purchased a MacBook Pro 2011 from a guy off Craigslist, and I noticed the camera doesn't work. Any suggestions how to fix this. If ou open any apps like facetime it just shows a camera with a line through it.

Take it to theApple store, they diagnois for free, and give you a price for repair. A flat rate to repair all that is wrong with the machine, about 1/3rd the price of the price of the least expensive MBP. Does'nt sound healthty. Maybe why he sold it.

I usually email myself to test an address but today it doesn't work, any ideas why?

I have often emailed myself to test a new address etc. Someone emailed me yesterday and it did not arrive so I tried a self check (frm Mozilla) and it did not arrive either. I emailed myself using webmail and the message arrived in both the webmail and Mozilla inboxes! Any ideas on what has happened, please? Regards. doddie

If your providers SMTP server accepted the sent mail from Thunderbird it is done. What happens after that is your providers operation. When the message did not arrive back to you was the message in your Inbox on the server when you checked? Thunderbird downloads messages from your Inbox on the server. If the message is not there, it cannot download it.
Comparing mail sent thru SMTP servers and web mail means nothing. Complete different process through different servers.
All it proves is that you know your username and password.

I have a perplexing problem, in firefox the iframe in the spry tabbed panel doesn't work any ideas?

I have made a page with spry tabbed panels, i have embedded an iframe in the content section of the second tab, this works perfectly well with Google, IE, Safari, Opera etc but just doesnt work in Firefox.
If I make the tab panel containing the iframe the Default tab then it works, i just cant figure out why,

If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms.

Dropped my phone in water and now the camera doesn't work, any ideas why its' the only thing not working

I somehow knocked my iphone 4s in the sink of water and everything seems to work except the camera. Is there a way to reinstall the software or does anyone know what I can do other than using phone protection insurance? All my pictures are there and they upload and share but just can't get the camera to take pictures.

The device is damage, it was dropped in water. You are lucky that the device works at all.

Esata on NF750-G55--doesn't work? Ideas? Please?

I've had this board for awhile, love it, no issues, went right in booted right up..no problems at all. I just switched to win 7 because MS$ has chosen to stop supporting my beloved XP 64 bit professional. Believe me if I had a choice I would have stayed with it, obviously MS can't stand the concept of something so good being out here that doesn't cost your first born. Anyway, I haven't used the Esata port before, I just bought a drive dock that can run off usb or esata, it works perfectly on usb but as soon as I plug in the esata cable nothing.
I wish I had another esata device to test with but I don't, I'm "assuming" since the dock works with usb that it is not malfunctioning...but I know how assumptions can be. MSI's site has been screwed up all day, I can't get the driver pack for this board for win 7 ultimate 64 bit, the us one stalls, the europe one has a bad url and the asian downloads but I'm afraid it may not be in english. I got this long enough ago I "assume" there are no win 7 drivers on the original disk but I'm about ready to look. I think win 7 is fast but I hate the vista look and I hate the way they hide anything a techie might use from easy view to keep the idiots from playing with it (20+ years building systems I'm no idiot, I should get a choice about that during install or a choice of interfaces in the control panel or someplace).
So has anyone had a problem with esata port working on this board, hopefully as soon as I can get a good driver download it will work, another thing I hate 7 doesn't give you the little yellow exclamation point when a driver isn't loaded for something.

Service error... tried everything but doesn't work!! Help please!

I just got my brand new video ipod, and I can't even download anything!!!
I installed the CD that came with the ipod.
Ipod IS recognized by the windows, but not in iTunes.
I see in the discussion that so many people had these errors...
"ipod service error" under ipod updater and
"The software required for communicating with the ipod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes to install the ipod's software."
I've tried almost everything that's suggested in the discussion. Re-installed iTunes so many times, used Windows Install Cleanup, used msconfig under Run and changed system configuration utility. NOTHING.
Could someone suggest me anything else I can do?
I'm really disappointed and frustrated... I was so excited to get my new ipod, and didn't expect to run into a problem from the start!!!!
And I've been working on this for 2 days!

So now the ipod updater has updated my ipod successfully.
NOW, the itune doesn't open.
everytime I try to open it, it gives the "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close." error.
So I'm off to this new problem...
At least I got the service error taken care of.

Photo Mail doesn't work!! HELP PLEASE!!

Windows 8.1 Elements 11 Windows Live Mail. I've done EVERYTHING under the sun to try and get the mail to work. Will the brightest MVP Tech from Adobe please contact me with the fix. I know that there are millions of computers out there that are able to send their photos using Elements 11. Thank you.

Try the standard fixes;
- Reset:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore the iPod from backup via iTunes
- Restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod
If still problems you likely have a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If you have Settings>Messages>Show Subject Field set to On, you may be typing in the subject field of your message. The Send button won't respond until you type something in the iMessage field just below it.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.
