Yes its possible, but its also possible that its a scam trying to entice you to provide information that could be used for identity theft.  I would wait a couple weeks and then check your transcript on the MCP site.  If the exam shows then it was
for real.  If it doesn't then it was probably a fake message.
The reason it might be for real could be that someone challenged the clarity of one of the questions in their comments and Microsoft decided after looking into it that some question was misleading.  This might have lead them to accept more than one
answer or to throw the question out.  That could have modified your score in some way and promoted you above the Pass line.  It is possible, but not likely.

    The 30 day limit, as I understand it, prevails after you reach one of the prevailing number limits. I've yet to reach one of those limits over the past few years and my PhotoStream is still intact.
    However, it's a good idea to move your photos into iPhoto which is your on-disk library. And, this library can be backed up locally, thus, preserving your photos.

  • Why is email disappearing from Trash after 7 days?

    Email from my IMAP email account that I move to Trash disappears after 7 days even though my settings are set to remove "never" on all devices (iMac, MacBook Air, iPhone, iPad).  Today is 4/22.  The oldest email in Trash is dated 4/13.

    Yup, as I stated, all my devices were set to delete "Never".   I do manually empty my Trash on a regular basis, usually removing items after about a month so I have some time to retrieve something that becomes relevant again.
    This is a new problem that suddenly started happening with no (apparent) changes to any settings.  Unfortunately, I can't poinpoint it to an incident (e.g. software update or new device).
    I've just changed all of my devices from delete Never to After One Month.  I'll see if mail is deleted as indicated now, which would mean some setting somewhere got "stuck" on 7 days.
    I'll also check with my IMAP host (BlueHost if anyone knows anything about them), although I've checked the server settings and there is nothing there to change the deletion frequency.

  • Remote fails after several days

    I'm running ZFD 3.2, on a Netware 5.1 (sp5) box with eDir 85.27c.
    When I
    import a workstation, it will work perfectly for a few days, but then
    it
    fails to respond to Remote Control. I can still do Chat, and pinging

    agent gives perfect success. When I do attempt to connect it gives
    the
    message:
    The Remote management agent was unable to locate the workstation in
    NDS.
    I can delete the workstation and re-import it, and it will work again,
    but
    fail after a few days time. I applied all the ZenWorks support packs
    to the
    clients and the server, and I am running the latest snap-ins for
    ConsoleOne.
    This server is the master of the replica.
    Any tips would be appreciated. I went through everything on TID

    and none of it has fixed the problem. Thanks.

  • Airport Express fails after 14 days

    My Airport Express will quit transmitting packets (both to the internet or my internal network) after 14 days and between 5 and 12 hours. Is anyone else experiencing this? It's been a problem since I've had it as I recall. It's not a big problem for me but, in a business environment this wouldn't fly. Has a solution been found? I don't mean power cycling the Airprot Express but, a REAL solution so it no longer happens.

    My Airport Express has been up continuously since I bought it this Spring. I'd say report the problems as a potential bad sample.

    PS. I will add to be fair, that my Airport Express replaced my

    Airport basestation, the Graphite that I used since it came out (2000?) until this past Spring. Now that one failed completely once with a capacitor problem experienced by others as well, and was replaced under AppleCare with an identical unit. But both my original Graphite basestation and its warranty replacement would, approximately weekly, hang, and would not function again until their AC power was recycled, at which point they would run just fine. Fortunately my Airport Express doesn't share that trait, and just stays up.

    I have a requirement on sales return, if the return is done after 180 days, government does not allow to adjust the respective tax amount relating to that return goods.
    For example:/sales invoice:
    Customer Dr 110
    Tax          Cr   10
    Sales       Cr 100
    In case of return this entry will reversed (if it is partial partial amount will be reversed).
    Requirement:
    If the return is happened after 180 days, tax reverse can not be accepted.
    In this case what is the scenario.
    1.  Is this tax amount goes to Tax expnese account (Dr P/L account)
    2.  Is this tax amount added to Material Stock value
    Please update me which more details.

    You can implement Badi ORDER_SAVE and use method CHECK_BEFORE_SAVE here you can write your logic i.e. until fulfills cetain conditions user should not able to set the status Accepted.

  • Change Data passed from BEx to BO

    Hi Gurus,
    In our scenario, we have BO reports built on top of BEx queries.
    In BI, the convention for Hierarchy Node technical name is -> Hierarchy name + Hierarchy Node Name  e.g, if Hierarchy Name is ABC and node name is XYZ, then  Hierarchy Node name is ABCXYZ.
    These values are passed to BO via Hierarchy Node variable, with manual entry.
    In BO hierarchy node values are selected via prompt .
    Now requirement of BO is,in prompt,  they want  just need name of Hierarchy Node, without hierarchy Name.
    In above e.g., they need value XYZ, instead of ABCXYZ
    Can you please suggest.. how can we achieve this, without Customer Exit variable or change in Master data ?

    Hi Ingo,
    Now we have decided to display the text(description) to BO Report.
    Hence we have done following changes on BW side:
    Changed  Display field to Text, in Business Explorer Tab of Hierarchy.
    Changed Display property of Hierarchy in Query Properties to Text.
    Now we are facing following problems  in BO Webi list of values :
    1)  Description displayed in List of values, is matched with 'key' value . Obviously since values of keys and description are different, the system throws an error
    2) Description are not displayed as Hierarchies, but just plain texts one below another.
       i.e. '' symbol, for expanding Hierarchy, is not present in List Of Values, against the description ( symbol is however displayed for Keys )
    Can you please suggest how to resolve this error

  • 27" iMac Firewire Port fails after 300 days of use

    I had to take my 27" iMac (purchased in 2012) to the "Genius" bar today because the firewire port failed.
    Prior to this:
    My Apogee Duet Firewire Sound Interface has given me all kinds of errors with the iMac. I wrote emails to Apogee complaining about the Firewire issues and they gave me a long list of possible fixes, all of which did absolutely nothing. Apogee claims that the problem is Apple's, but when I connected a MOTU Traveler to the firewire port it performed flawlessly. Many people had complained online about the awful performance of the Firewire Duet with Lion OSX so I wrote back to Apogee demanding that they replace the device with their newer USB "Duet 2" and they chose to ignore my email. So I went back to dealing with the intermittent cutting out of the Duet which is only remedied by either restarting the machine or unplugging & reconnecting the Duet.
    2 days ago:
    The Apogee Duet stops working (like so many times before), so I unplug the Apogee Firewire 400-to-800 cable and this time when I reconnect, it starts rapidly blinking and clicking, so I quickly shut the iMac down. After a waiting for a few minutes I plug the Duet in and it's dead -no lights & no click. To determine if I'd just killed my Duet, I plugged it into my 2009 Macbook with a Firewire 400 cable and the Duet works. So I think.."Maybe it was the Apogee FW400/800 cable". Next day I bought a new Firewire 400/800 Cable and connected the Duet to the iMac and I still got absolutely nothing. So I booked an appointment at the Genius Bar.
    Today:
    The helpful gentleman there quickly discovered that the main-board needed replacement because the "newer" iMacs have all the I/O stuff attached to the motherboard. It would have cost me 800 bucks with out a warranty. While I was there, I tested my original Apogee Firewire 400/800 cable with a Macbook pro and it worked fine, ruling out the possibility that my cable could have caused the Firewire port to fail. Lastly,  I asked him to connect a Thunderbolt-to-Firewire Adapter to my iMac and - yes - the Apogee Duet worked fine through the Thunderbolt Port.
    In Conclusion,
    I'm glad that they are going to repair this problem but it would appear I really have no choice but to extend my "Apple Care" since, in my experience, the Firewire port can spontaneously fail. As a full-time musician it's lucky for me this happened while it was still under warranty, otherwise I probably would have just bought the Thunderbolt-to-Firewire Adapter and hope the Thunderbolt ports last longer than the firewire did.
    Has anyone else had their main-board replaced due to Port Failure?

    Not because of Firewire, but yes, my 2007 iMac had to have extensive things replaced twice under extended AppleCare.
    I personally think $2,000 dollar items should come with more than a one year warranty, unless you expect them to die shortly after a year.
    Didn't need any warranty on my Quadra/630, still runs every day, they don't make Macs like they used to.

  • Infinity failed after 1 day - RUBBISH customer sup...

    I had infinity installed on Monday, it only lasted a few hours, now getting about 800kbs. Contacted tech support, Indian helpdesk, absolutely rubbish - they run off scripts and had no clue. Promised three times to call back once they had spoken with engineering, they did not. I am back on the phone now waiting for an response for 25 minutes from the helpdesk. I think the white modem they supplied from Huawei has failed. For a fraction of the cost I could have got a fairly good service from Sky. My advice. Go there, BT is not worth the trouble. 

    I really understand your dissapointment..... but as Edd mentioned please give the forum a chance to help.
    That white Openreach Modem has a bit of a reputation as I expect you may have heard.
    I hope the Openreach engineer mounted it vertically on a wall. 
    This gives the cooling vents a chance to work correctly.
    Mind you I had heard that there was a new revision of the modem out now that had it's problems fixed.
    But we may be jumping to conclusion about it..... you never know if you are using wireless it may be just a conflicting/interference problem. The HH3 doesn't seem to Automatically avoid these busy wireless channels as well as it was expected to.
    Anyhow it would be interesting to see what your Internet Profile is over a wired connection test as Edd suggested.
    Btw.... not heard a single person praise the foreign customer support staff.... However there are a great bunch of Forum Moderators (BT staff) here, that get involved and try their hardest  to solve problems.

  • Assignment Status Change Requirement.

    Hi Experts ,
    We have a requirement in a HR report , where we have to capture the "Data Entry" date for assignment status change.
    for example :
    If an employee assignment status changed to inactive from active on 01-OCT-2012 , and the data entry into oracle is on 18-OCT-2012 , I have to capture the "date of entry into oracle i.e date of assignment status changed in Oracle , in this example 18-OCT-2012".
    Initially i felt to use the "Last Updated Date" but if some data is changed in assignment form on 19-OCT-2012 in "CORRECTION" mode , the last updated will be override with "19-OCT-2012" , but the original date the assignment status changed is on 18-OCT-2012.
    Any help or pointer please to achieve the requirement.

    There is no way out.
    Restart the restore procedure and make sure you are connected to the wall power adapter and have Internet connection.
    Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
    At the end it will ask whether you want to restore, choose iCloud backup.

  • SQL Azure sync service-- absurdly slow and fails after a few days

    Hello. We have been trying to use Azure Data Sync to replicate an on-premise MSSQL database to an SQL Azure database for read-only access by a customer. This was working for a while, but stopped syncing after a couple months(12hr auto-sync schedule) with
    no errors in the log. I had to re-create the sync group, but now it takes even longer than originally to try to sync, and never actually completes, as it gets interrupted by bi-weekly server restarts... It used to take a few hours to sync the new data in our
    database(which is appended to daily)-- but this time it fails after 4+ days... It was unacceptably slow initially(IMO), but now it's clearly unusable.  The original initialization of the data when I first set it up was less than 2 days of syncing. 
    It seems there is a throttle on the Azure sync service. Is this true?  Would it be best to clear the SQL Azure database now and re-sync? Is there a way to pre-load the SQL Azure database with MSSQL on-premise data via a SQL backup file or something?
    Please advise. Thank you.

    when you re-created the sync group, does the member databases/hub database have pre-existing data?
    when synching a sync group for the first time, make sure databases don't contain the same set of data, otherwise, you will run into conflicts which will completely slow down your sync...
    I deleted the initial sync group because it wasn't syncing(auto or on-demand), nor creating a log entry with an error indicating why.
    So, I simply deleted the sync group and re-created it with the same exact databases and settings. I did not delete all data in the SQL Azure database-- I was under the assumption that the sync service, with the tracking tables were smart enough to not get
    confused with pre-existing data, but apparently that's not how this works?
    I obviously can't delete the data in the source database(MSSQL on-premise), but I could delete the tables in the SQL Azure database if that's supposed to fix the problem-- then we'll just have to wait multiple days for it to be completely re-initialized,
    hopefully without error... Is there a way to seed the data in some way to prevent this extremely log first sync?

    Activate processing obsolete option in the task step for which workitem has to be deleted.
    Also specify the latest end for 2 days.
