My University project about java program plagiarism

I am working on my Final year Project about java program plagiarism.
i.e. My system finds similarity between two programs by "Source code" to check whether there are plagiarism.
And now i need plenty of samples and need your help.
I need two types of sample:
1. original version - a version written by your own.
2. plagiarized version - a version which is copied from original version and has modified to conceal that it is a plagiarism.(Try to treat the teacher)
My two sample programs are:
1. Find shortest path by Dijkstra's algorithm.
2. Find the determinant of a N x N matrix.
Both programs read data from txt file as input.
Now, I sincerely invite you to help me to make samples
You can choose to do the version(original or plagiarized) and the program you like.
After you have finished, please kindly send to [email protected]
If you decide to do plagiarized version, please download the following sources and modified them.
http://myweb.polyu.edu.hk/~04954136d/FYP/shortestpath.zip
http://myweb.polyu.edu.hk/~04954136d/FYP/determinant.zip
Thank you very much. Looking forwards to your program.

Ha ha, good try.
You know, if you had posted whatever you have achieved so far, you might actually have got the help you so obviously need. But now your only chance of getting any help here is to get yourself another username.
If this were true, your professors would have gladly supplied you with research material in exchange for use of your "system".

  • I need some idea for my last project about Java

    Hi my name is suzanna from Indonesia. I have lots of interest with Java programming and I want make something about it for my last project. It's very important and I need some idea...could u give me some topic? I'm sorry if my english is very bad.thx,bye

    Here's some popular ideas:
    image steganography, chat client/server, spyware, client/server file transfer, forum content management/enforcement, anything with reflection, anything with communicating with an external device such as camera or modem or robot, writing your own replacement for the java.util.Calendar class, anything with custom class loaders, splitting a string into a string[]
    And for an extra challenge:
    dominition-based repetition, implementing a JVM which represents 'null' values internally using some other integer value than 0

  • Question about Java programming development

    There are five phases in java program development. They are: edit -> compile -> load -> verify -> execute
    However, every time I develops program. I only experience phase 1, phase 2 and phase 5. I always miss phase 3 and 4. When do the class loader and bytecode verifier work? How do they work?
    Second question, how the legitimate programs can execute automatically without typing command java to invoke the interpreter?

  • About Java Programing

    hi ,
    I think over twice before asking question here. so anyhow time to ask
    I here by , to grab the important points for the following question.
    Now'days Most of the ide is enhanced/simplify the work for the java programmer.
    say as eg: syntatic errors, casting works, Exception handling,grab the file from the path(importing) Most of the time, if any thing happens directly intimate to programmer.. except runtime exception.
    ok. if a programmer doesnt had any ide means just notepad and with command prompt., means setuping ah path and complitation error : from syntax to run time exceptions most typical.. picking up lot of time
    My bottom line of the question is pretty simple
    A programmer using ide means pretty working good as well finish in time. but if he doesnt had ide means simple notepad struggling ah lot?
    how does filter/iterate a good programmer? in other words how to certify a person as good programmer.

You need a well-oiled machine when doing development, being too chummy gets in the way of that.
    Of course it isn't black and white either.

    Team dynamics is one of the most difficult thing to fit an interview for, and it's correct, you don't have to be Mr Social to fit in. I'm fairly introverted, but play well with others. I work quietly and often do not even see the entire floor or department of the company I work for until years of working at that location, but I have learned to effectively network with the other developers in the company and the local area.
    At one time we convinced one of the middle managers we needed a 2 hour lunch on Friday for networking. We'd go down to a local restaurant, sit back and talk, and see each other in a more "natural setting". What the newbies didn't figure was all of those senior leads there were evaluating them for personality and if they thought they could work with them. We had a pool of about 60 people that would show up for our "no host luncheon" from various companies through the area. We had a great time--we blew off some steam, we networked with others to find solutions to what we were looking at, we even recruited a few people, but ultimately we found out what everyone was really like. Those sessions very much allowed the senior programming staff to evaluate who they wanted to work with and rate how dependable they thought each person was and who would mesh on what teams. I have to say during that era, I didn't care for my boss much, but when we suggested the networking luncheons, and they went along with them, I will admit my opinion of them went up significantly.
    On another instance I had a mainframe legacy programmer working for me that was, to put it mildly, kind of crotchety. Most fortuitous for me my wife took a workshop about that time I was able to read over her materials. They identified 5 basic personality types. This guy fit one of the descriptions perfectly. I decided to try working with him using the protocols described in the workshop: he turned out to be one of the best employees that I ever had. Great programmer too. The key there was: once you told him what needed to be done, he was going to complain, stomp his foot, and do the "humph!" type of purging sigh. If you knew that was just a basic mechanism he had to cope with new stuff and not to take any notice of it, then he worked out great. He ended up working for me on 3 major development systems, learned to write web based live reports, and basically retooled his toolset 3 times over the period he worked for me. This was all before Java, Web Devleopment, or laptops became popular. Basically back in the time of bear skins, stone knives, and sharp sticks.

  • Question about Java Program

    I have a question here that I cant seem to figure out.
    I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out with the answer. I just got started learning Java and have a question:
    Suppose list is an array of five components of the type int. What is stored in list after the following Java code executes?
    for(int index = 0; index < 5; index++)
    list(index) = 2 * index + 5;
    if(index % 2 ==0)
    list[index] = list[index] -3;
    I would really appreiciate it if someone could help me out with this problem.

    This doesn't seem like a JSC-related problem, but I'll answer it anyways...
    list(index) = 2 * index + 5;This should probably be list[index] = 2 * index + 5
    The array will, after execution, contain
    {2, 7, 6, 11, 10}

  • Java Programming Question

    Hi,Everybody:
    I have a question about Java programming. If I want to write a java class code called if.java like below, how should I do to make it pass the java compiler and make it work. I know the words "if" and "for" are reserved words. I just try to figure it out that is it possible??? Do I need to create my own java compiler or recompiler?
    public class if
    public if() { }
    public static for test()
    return new for();
    public class for
    public for() { System.out.println("for class constructor"); }
    }

    I don't think you can bypass the compiler's rejection of this. There is little point to naming the classes after keywords. Not sure if it's case sensitive though, so maybe "If" or "For"? Otherwise, try "if_" or "for_"

  • Need help with Java programming installation question

    Sorry for my lack of knowledge about Java programming, but:....
    A while back I thought I had updated my Java Runtime Environment programming. But I now apparently have two programs installed, perhaps through my not handling the installation properly. Those are:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 update 5.0 (a 118MB file)
    and:
    Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v 1.4.2_05 (a 108MB file)
    Do I need both of these installed? If not, which should I uninstall?
    Or, should I just leave it alone, and not worry about it?
    Yeah, I don't have much in the way of technical knowledge...
    Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
    Bob VanHorst

    Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll do just that. Once in a while I have a problem with Java not bringing up a webcam shot, but when that happens, it seems to be more website based than a general condition.

  • Java program/package in project tree

    On a fairly large web services project I am working on I started using
    workshop to develop a couple of straight java programs and put them in the
    project tree right next to the jws programs. This worked great, I could
    take advantage of the debugging and code completion type editing capability
    in Workshop. Last week I moved this source code, plus all of the common
    classes, into a directory under the top level project directory
    (com/myCompany/api/structures and com/myCompany/api/util) and copied the
    programs into there (Workshop changed the package names appropriately). It
    all ran fine.
    This week another developer got the latest pull from source control with the
    directory mentioned above but cannot build. The message is "Package
    com.myCompany.api.util not found in import". I am looking right at the file
    structure and is the same as on the original machine that it was built on.
    Any idea why it cannot find that file/directory/package?
    Is there anyway to forceworkshop to build a java program? The build menu
    command is disabled when working on a java file.
    It would be great to have a section in the support docs about writing java
    classes in Workshop. We are determined to keep our jws's (what's the plural
    of jws!) lean and use helper functions and/or business object/model
    functionality for the bulk of the work. I know V1 of workshop has not
    focused on this java editing capability but it is there and it's pretty
    strong. Without this you have
    to work in a seperate IDE to write helper classes do a build there and then
    come back to Worskhop.
    I'd like to know things like 1) when and how does workshop decide to do a
    build of the java classes 2) is it possible to put other source code like
    libraries somewhere so that I could debug right into these? and 3) how does
    workshop resolve it's package structure at build time (other than
    web-inf/classes)?
    Thanks!

    Well, our problem seems to be fixed but I'm not sure why. The java classes
    had not been deleted from the top of the project tree. When we deleted them
    suddenly the import started working ... go figure ... maybe it was something
    else we did. I would still be interested in answers to my more general
    questions about java source in workshop if possible ...
    thx

  • Creating XML file in Project folder thru Java Program

    hi,
    i need one help. i need to create XML file in web://<Project Folder> in xmII thru Java Program. i created one java code and i am able to access XML file that is in c drive. i created jar file for this and placed as action block in Transaction and this working fine. but problem arises when i give file path in java code as web://<folder name>/file.xml which is in Web folder of project in xMII.
    How to access the file that is inside web folder from java code.
    regards
    senthil

    Hi Senthil,
    you can address the files that inside the MII workbench are viewed as "web://..." like this:
    http://<server>:<port>/XMII/CM/<Project>/<Folder>/<Filename>
    The workbench helps you find the correct filename:
    - open the WEB tab in the workbench
    - right-click on the filename
    - select "Copy Link" from the pop up
    Now you have the correct link in your clipboard.You can use the "web://" only inside MII.

  • Help with Java programming project

    Hi,
    I need help in writing this Java program. The purpose of this program is to read a variable-length stream of 0, 1 characters from an input text file (call it input.txt) one character at a time, and generate the corresponding B8ZS output stream consisting of the +, - , and 0 characters (with appropriate substitutions) one-character-at-a-time into a text file (called output.txt).
    The program must use a class called AMIConverter with an object called AMI . Class AMIConverter must have a method called convert which converts an individual input character 0 or 1 into the appropriate character 0 or + or - of AMI.
    It first copy the line to file output.txt. Then read the line one character at a time and pass only valid characters (0 or 1) to AMI.convert, which assumes only valid characters. The first 1 in each new 'Example' should be converted to a +.
    This is what is read in, but this is just a test case.
    0101<1000
    1100a1000b00
    1201g101
    should now produce two lines of output for each 'Example', as shown below:
    This should be the output of the output.txt file
    Example 1
    in :0101<1000
    out:0+0-+000
    Example 2
    in :1100a1000b00
    out:+-00+00000
    Example 3
    in :1201g101
    out:+0-+0-
    To elaborate more, only 1 and 0 are passed to "convert" method. All others are ignored. 0 become 0 and 1 become either + or - and the first "1" in each new example should be a +.
    This is what I have so far. So far I am not able to get the "in" part, the characters (e.g. : 0101<1000 ) out to the output.txt file. I am only able to get the "out" part. And I also can't get it to display a + for the first "1" in each new examples.

    Java compiler.
    for example, I writen a application like YM, then 2cp can sent,receive messege. My cumputer run as Server, and my frien PC run as client.
    How can my friend run it? or how to create an icon in dektop tu run a java program..??..
    (sorry about my English but U still understand what i mean (:-:)) )

    To run a program you don't need a Java compiler. Just the Java Runtime Engine. That can be downloaded from the Sun website and comes with an installer.
    You could then turn your application into an executable jar file and start it somehow like jar myYM.
    There is also software that packs a Java program into an executable file. I've never used that but one that comes to my mind is JexePack. It's for free if you can live with a copyright message popping up every time you start the program.
