Could you clarify some things? You are saying you are trying to transform the xml output of a webservice with an xsd, but an xsd is a schema that describes the allowed format of a xml file. If you want to transform xml from one format to an other (from one xsd to an other) you have to use a xsl file. You can make and test this with JDeveloper. Are you calling the webservice from esb or bpel?

Help to create complex graphs in oracle 10g reports

As my company has migrated from 6i to Oracle 10g, but as graph ogd files are obselete in Oracle 10g , I am trying to create new graphs in Oracle 10g.
But problem I am facing that I cannot give axis value 'LABEL' or define my own scale or draw any lines on chart or inshort plot graph as I need. Moreover no way to read objects on Chart. In forms 6i it was easy to read object with command "OG_GET_OBJECT(OBJECT_NAME)". Helps tell me to use graph.dtd but I am unable to use it or I don't know how to use it. No documentation available anywhere how to use graph.dtd syntax.
Is it possible to achieve my above goals or any other tools to customize charts.

I don't have any error in my java/jinit console infact latest jinit is running and web browser start with message applet are being loaded and Oracle forms service installed successfully. All other forms details are very well displayed on browser form, only bean area remains empty. Following are my formsweb.cfg details. Once again I insist that I had followed demos instruction, all readme and install guide . Here in my company I am using ORACLE 10G FORMS on my machine and ORACLE 10G database server installed on other server . Moreover this softwares are original license software .

HELP IN Creating customized Oracle Object from Java

How can I create a customized oracle object that has these 3 fields with data persistance:
NAME : VARCHAR2
INSER_DATE : DATE
OBJ:user-defined collection(oracle.sql.array)
using JAVA. Later, that oracle object is enqueue in Oracle avanced Queue.
I've been looking in this site for the answer but had no luck.
I am using Java 1.2 and Oracle 8.1.6.
Any help will be appreciated as I needed so badly. Thanks.

I assume your attempting to generate a Java class with the approriate getters and setters. If so the JPulisher utility is what your after. You can access it from either JDeveloper or the command line... Its documented in the Oracle Java manuals (jdbc etc.)...
A piece of advice... especially if you using AQ and ADT's or oracle's jms implementation against AQ, make sure you use the Oracle 8.1.7 jdbc drivers, even if your accessing an 8.1.6 DBMS. The performance difference is significant

Need help in creating a Zip archive through Java

I need some files existing a folder.
When I use ZipOutputStream to zip the files, do I need to give the entire path to each of the files to add the file to the zip archive?
For example here is the folder structure.
C:
->Folder1
---->Folder2
------>File1
------>File2
---->File3
---->File4
Here should I pass the entire path of Each file to the ZipOutputStream?
Can any one please give me an example of creating a zip archive of the above file structure.

Report about scheduled reports with status failed

I would like to schedule report with information which reports in SAP BO (which I could find in Instance Manager in CMC) did not refreshed (failed status). Do you know where this data are stored?

Query builder is an application which gets deployed when you deploy the BO applications like CMC/BILaunchPad.
The name of the application is AdminTools. You can check with your admin/deployment team if you have it deployed.
You would be exceuting the below url to access the application
http://<servername>:<port>/AdminTools
The name is case sensitive so follow the same case.
It would be best to run your queries in AdminTools application rather than running those directly on CMS tables though management studio. Running queries directly on CMS databse tables is not recommended.

Well I have been working as ABAP-HR since long but no such requirement has came yet but still would like to much more detail what kind of thing you will need in that report.
But you would need to know bit of ABAP-HR report programming specifically using LDB with Report & Fetching data from the LDB with GET event.

I create an enterprise project template in Project Professional but when I go to create a project in PWA the formattting does not carry through to the project

I created an enterprise template in Project Professional and formatted it and set the font to Gill Sans MT, I then pointed the Project type to this project template.
When I created the new project type in PWA the formatting and font did not carry through to the new project.
Has anyone seen this behaviour before?

Do you find that if you create a project in project professional using a template and then save it the formatting is shown OK? So you only see this problem when you are creating the project from PWA and the plan template is picked up via the Enterprise Project
Type?

Any Programs That Help Design Artwork For Album Covers?

I am making an album and i need an app preferibly from the AppStore that helps me create my Cover for my Music Album. What i need is an app that edits a picture that i will take and make the background all red except for the person standing infront of it, and so i can be able to put words in the picture too. These pictures need to be 1000X1000 so it doesn't look blurry, are there any apps that can help me design my Cover? If there aren't any from the App Store, then where can i download it? (No Photoshop i know it is good)

My son ran into a similar problem recently. He downloaded the iTunes update which unbeknown to us altered his 'import CD' settings. He imported some CDs he received for Xmas but could not add artwork. After much head-scratching etc., I noticed these new files were .wav files so I converted them to AAC files (Advanced/Create AAC version) then deleted the .wav files (and changed his preferences back to the way they were before). He could then add the artwork as described avove.

Discusion about Java Report Tool, if you want to know how to make reports in Java and you don't know how.

The best one in my opinion is ireport or jasper report which has GUI for report creations and all the functionalities that a report requires and due to its XML representations, it is standard too and it is quite easy to access and use...........

Best way to create output with only topics that are not finalized

I'm nearing the end of a project and I need to isolate the topics that still have questions. I keep trying things, but nothing gives me what I need. Any suggestions? Here's what I tried.
I'm using RoboHelp 9 (RH9).
Status
I can get a report of the topic names and their status using Tools > Reports > Topic Properties and then setting the Options to include only Topic Status, but this isn't useful; that gives me a list of 396 topics, in alphabetical order.
For each topic, you end up with 3 lines. For example:
Adding Customers - Adding_Customers.htm
Status:
Status: Ready for Review
I saved the report as TXT and opened it in Word and did a global replace of Status:^p (that is, Status, colon, new line) and then Status, colon, tab. That reduced it to 2 lines for each topic:
Adding Customers - Adding_Customers.htm
Ready for Review
So that's still not very useful. I would have to write a macro or something in either the Word file or once I got it into Excel to concatentate those two lines.
And even then, I could sort the data and get rid of the lines that show Complete (using an Excel formula), but how would I print out just those topics? If there are only a few, that's no problem, but there are at least 30. (Things changed and topics changed and now some need re-review, and some still have questions.) Could I make an index out of those lines? No, that would involve a lot of work to write out the XML.
Okay, so I tried another approach...
Conditional Text
I created a duplicate Table of Contents and applied my Questions condition to three topics. I then created a Printed Doc output and specified an Advanced condition saying to include only Questions. That gave me more than the three topics, but not all of the topics. The help says that you can use an Advanced Conditional Build Tag Expressions, and that if you want just those topics with a specific tag ("All topics to which one tag has been applied"), just include that tag.
BUT it also says: "Topics and topic text to which you have applied no conditional build tag are included in the output."
So, if I want only those topics to which I've applied a TOC condition of Questions, I need to create another condtion (for example, DONE), and apply that to all the topics that I don't want to print.
So, assuming I have 30 topics with the condition Questions, I would have to apply my new DONE condition to 366 topics. Yes, I know you can apply a tag to more than one at a time, but I would be wary of doing more than 5-10 at once.
Still, that looks like the best solution so far. I'm going to back up my project and then start doing that. In the meantime, does anyone have any other way of doing it?

First, no reason to be concerned about applying a tag in the topic list to many topics.
Before my time the company had an author who wrote in a topic "This is ****" intending to return to it later. He did when a customer phoned asking if the statement was true!
What I have done is institute a simple method that also helps with reviewing. We add three hash marks ### to any topic at the top or at the point where it is incomplete. We do that using a character style rather than a paragraph so that the text can be within a paragraph. The style is called AuthorComment and we also apply a tag called AuthorComment. Both have a vivid colour applied. EXAMPLE ### Let me know if you have a problem with this.
When we generate for internal review, we leave that stuff in as it grabs the attention of reviewers so they respond to the comment / question.
When we generate for external use we add the tag to the build expression but we also do a search of all topics for ### using a third party find and replace tool. TextCrawler for example.
It's simple and it works beautifully.

I used to create a multilingual project in RH8 few years ago but can't read the files anymore. Could you give me advice so that I could rebuilt a multilingual project quickly. The procedure in the online help is too short and I fail when following it.

In fact I wanted to use my former project just to see how I managed it. But it is "damaged" when I want ti open it after the RH update. Now I have RH10 and not RH8 anymore.
I need help on creating a multilingual project with RH10.
In the RH Help document, the procedure is :
Apply French language project settings by selecting French Language.
2 Open an English topic, create a topic for the French language, and translate the content, including the topic title from
English to French. (Do not translate topic filenames.)
3 Create French tables of contents, indexes, and glossaries.
4 Create a conditional build tag, such as FrenchContent.
5 Apply the FrenchContent conditional build tag to French content and topics.
6 Generate output for the French language.
When I create topics with same names, I have a Error message "The file already exists". May be it will work in different folders.

Need help on creating a report after defining some criteria

Hi everybody,
I have been through some of the ebooks and got the idea of apex.
To give an example what I would like to do is that I want to open two date picker fields and creating the report between the dates which were defined in the date pickers
Those date picker field could be on the same page of report or they could be on another page. Once create button is pressed then the report between the defined dates should appear
Any thoughts?

Okay, two date pickers are date to and date from, logically date to must be equal or after date from, right?
i defined a validation as pl/sql expressin saying that date to >= date from to the expression field
there is no problem when I put a former date on date from and a latter date to date to.
the problem occurs when I put same dates on the date pickers. An interesting point here is that when I put the same dates and click the submit button it gives an error BUT when I push again it works!
it gives me the rows from the table of the date picker date. is there a problem about the caching and how can I solve it.
Or, as you recommend you can show me an example on your workspace, that would be helpful as well
