My wireless does not work on my ipad or my iphone. It is connected and laptop and kindle both work. Any idea why my apple products are not picking up the wireless? They did in the past up until 2 days ago.
My iphone and iPad suddently stopped picking up my wireless connection. Other products are able to connect (laptop and kindle). Any suggestions?
Try resetting your wireless router by unplugging the router from the power for about 30 seconds then plugging it back in.

I have iPhoto, iOS, etc. all up to date.... however my iPad, iPhone, and Mac PhotoStreams all contain different pictures and aren't the same. Any ideas why? I'd rather not reset the whole thing if I don't have too.
OK, restart in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. It's possible one or more is corrupt. To restart in Safe Mode when you hear the start up tone hold down the Shift Key until you see a progress bar. Let it fully boot then restart normally and test.
Also I am assuming you have checked Finder - Preferences - General and see what boxes are checked in "Show these items on desktop." You can also mount an item in Disk Utility, simply highlight it and then look in the File menu for Mount..... -
I have V 5.0 but the App Store says it has 5.2.2 and that it's installed. Any ideas why I cannot open the document, please?
When you updated to Mavericks and qualified for the free iWork apps and then installed them, the old iWork apps were rounded up and put into a folder name iWork' 09 and the three new versions of the apps are scattered in the apps folder in alphabetical order.

Try this:
1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo. -
I store important info in my notes app on my Iphone 4S that I refer to daily. Some of my notes have 'disappeared' from my notes app. Any ideas how to retrieve my lost notes. I am up to date on my software. All notes are backed up to Icloud. I have approximately 74 notes on my iphone but Icloud is showing only 15!

I am trying to install a program on my Mac Book Pro Retina from a Apple SuperDrive. Every time I run the installer, it says I do not have enough memory to install. However, I definitely have enough memory (186.74 GB). The program takes only 550 MB. Any ideas why?
Thanks for the clarification on the terms. I consider myself proficent at my computer, but not exactly in its inner-workings! I have 8 GB of memory installed.
I am still confused as to why I do not have any space for the program. This is the exact error message I get: "There is not enough free space on Macintosh HD disk. The Print Shop 2 application requires about 550 MB to be installed. Free some disk space and try again."

This wifi issue is bad, all other products I have work fine, but my iPad (fully update, re-installed, re-booted, etc...) will not work. Time to return it and switch to another vendor? Many of the solutions I see are change your router. I cannot change a Hotel router, a companies router! Please Apple fix this ASAP prem price and not working!
the iPad should work with most wifi routers. There are some old wife routers it may not. Your ipad coiuld have a hardware problem.
Does it work with some routers? Have you hung out in the lobby of the hotel and asked if other ipad users are having a problem. What does the hotel staff say?
You could carry a mini wifi router with you and connect the mini via ethernet cable.
Find the make and model of the wifi router. We can check if other ipad owners are having problem.

I have this code inside a click command. The first part works, will change variable to 5. But if variable = 5 animation does not play:

Any idea why command-shift-delete is not working?
I have had a MacBook Pro for a few years, and recently purchased a new iMac. the iMac arrived, and I transferred everything from the MBP to the iMac using the Migration Assistant. Worked very well, from what I can tell. The only thing I am unable to do is delete using shift-delete and empty the trash using command-shift-delete.
I should also say that I did the initial setup of my iMac with a separate Admin account, then deleted that account to use the old account from my MBP on the iMac. I suspect this is a permissions issue, and I have seen articles that suggest deleting this trash account and letting OS X recreate.
Any thoughts on what else to try?

Ineed911baltwo - I acknowledge that I wrote this incorrectly as shift-delete. That said, I am unable to delete a file/folder using command-delete. Also, unable to empty the trash using command-shift-delete.
I had already tried resetting my keyboard shortcuts, and this did not help either.
And these shortcuts worked on my MBP prior to the migration.

I've been having this problem for awhile now. If I type a word while using firefox (in a form, searching a page for that word/phrase, etc.), Firefox will later (at a seemingly random time) do an automatic search for that word/phrase and redirect me to some site (e.g. if I search a page for 'history', Firefox will at a random time, redirect me to, for example, history.com). I have no idea what might be causing this, and it is really annoying when I'm filling out a form online and Firefox randomly goes to some site, interrupting what I was doing at the time.

Any idea why my photos don't come up when I click on them. The frame just comes up all black?
When I go in to my iphoto library of photos I can see all my photos but when I click on them to view the frame just shows all black with no photo. Any idea whats wrong.

OK, 10.6.7 update did NOT fix the issue.
So before putting mbp to sleep last night, I did a SMC reset procedure.
This morning when it woke up, it detected the cable immediately.

After I import my pictures to iphoto, I can't see them in my events. I can find them in last import or last 12 months. Why did my pictures stop showing up in events???
They have not - your events are sorted manually - go to the view menu ==> sort events and select your choice of event sort order
