N95-1 Download (catalog) not same N70 ?

i wish to know that when u click Download on the face of the menu & renew/refresh the list , it did not shown available content provider like THQ, EA, Warner Bros, Sony, Glu & many more as my N70 which really do. ? Why ? Last time when i refesh the list i still can seen all of this stuffs came out but now not...can u all who use N95-1 try & see & let me know u all same with me or mine got problem & how to get bac the Catalog coz i notice the Catalog missing in the download menu ! The catalogs are device, and country/operator specific and thus the content might be quite different depending on which devices and regions the various content providers have decided to support (or not to support, as the case may be).

[Verifying Downloads] Java-Downloaded file not same filesize as on server

This is in the security forum, but really involves a few details:
1.) My program downloads files from a server
2.) I have precalculated hash md5 values and file sizes in a .cfg file in the server which is also downloaded
3.) The md5 is calculated of the downloaded files
4.) The filesize is checked and the md5s are checked
I have 4 client windows computers I've tested this on. It worked on 3. The fourth has a strange behavior: About every other file would have ~ 8 additional bytes in the filesize. I have no idea where those bytes are coming from, everytime it redownloads, same filesize, albeit 8 bytes too big. Therefore, the Md5 is screwed up.
Here's my downloading from server code:

          }SO, my solution was as follows:
1.) Download file once and check md5 & filesize
2.) If failed, download file AGAIN and check md5 & filesize
3.) If failed 2x, download file for last time and check filesize - if the filesize is within 40 bytes of the actual file, allow it.
This now works on all 4 computers, and as far as I can tell the downloaded files are wholly correct.
But this is really annoying! Why is the above download code producing 8 extra bytes?!

You will not be able to see what version you are running until the iPad is activated. It will be in Settings>General>About >Version when you can get to the settings app.
The slider bar that you are describing sounds like the screen lock side switch and that has no bearing on setting up the iPad or connecting to WiFi.
Why don't you try rebooting your router? Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again and see if the iPad will recognize and join the network.

Something happened in the last day with FF. IE downloads files correctly. FF Delicious bookmarks open up a page with blue links that look like an outline but they are not my links. My downloads do the same. No virus.

That can be caused by having some bookmarks with a long title in the main Bookmarks menu.
The width of a column in the Bookmarks menu list is in current Firefox versions automatically adjusted to fit the bookmark with the longest name.
You can check the names of the bookmarks and make the longer ones shorter.

It is possible that the subscription is not valid or up-to-date.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from the music section of your iTunes library, close & then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unchecked. This seems to help with partial downloads...
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

It sounds like you are unable to play a couple of songs from your library becuase you get a message that the computer is unauthorized to play, but other content purchased that same day works without issue. I would verify that the affected songs were purchased with the same Apple ID first:

Open iTunes
Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
Choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab.
The Account Name area will list the account used to purchase the item. Unless you have changed accounts, this is your iTunes Store account name.
If so, then delete the songs:

E 63 Download Cataloge

hi all
I just have a new E63 the new modle .. after 2 days it start to restart by it self.. they advice me to reset it to factory setting by the 4 keys (answer, *, 3, power on) I did it and it works fine for 3 days.. after that I had some conflict software so I select factory setting from the menu..
after that I face the main problem.. when I try to refresh or update the download Cataloge it shows only the first 3 item .. Applications, Graphics and Tones only ,,,, the other item it not showing..
I tried to reformat it .. useing all the ways.. factory setting .. the 4 keys .. the reset code .. and still the same.
even when I install the cataloge from nokia site . it download as aplication but not make any thing even it is not lunch.
any one have any solution for this ?

yes .. there are some other icons.. and it there when I use the mobile for first 5 dayes .. smartconnect, caller manager.. solitae .. and some more ... only if nokia change the cataloge but I don't think so ..
they told me in Nokia care may be I have problem with the software.
for that I am sure that it is may be bug with the software it self.

Doubt in Downloading Sap notes in SNOTE Transaction

Hi Experts,
I want to download the sap note (442831) in my developement system. For that i am using the Tcode SNOTE here i used Goto-->Download Sap Note. I gave my sap note number in that window, then i executed. after few minites its saying downloaded.
After downloading i searched the notenumber in that list but its not displaying.
Why its happening? Plz guide this any otherway is there or i did any wrong things over this??

Once you download the note it will be in NEW list click on it and expand then search the same
if you want to apply the patch then implement the note and finally change the processing status to completed

I actually want help from the experts; and with my question everything is said. As I wrote: I returned to version 35.01 (US - before I had a German version - both worked or work) for the time being; with 36.0 almost everything is fine except that I cannot download videos any more.
The " educated guesses" seem to be correct except for the Shockwave; at least I couldn´t find it in the list.
Oh, I forgot: I got a message from my firewall when I had downloaded version 36, stating that it had blocked some features of this app, then listing those features, but giving the possibility to grant access to them ("Zugriff zulassen") on which I clicked. - See uploaded screenshot.
Any idea where the problem could be?

thanks for dealing with my Problem. I´m using the latest Version of downloadhelper; I mentioned that I downloaded the US-Version of 35.01, but the screenshot came from my German Windows 8.1.
I just downloaded 36 again & separately, got the same warning from Windows, clicked again on "grant Access" (Zugriff zulassen), tried out parallel 35.01 - Video download o.k. and 36 - Video download did not function. So I did not get further. The Firewall lets me - so it seems - download with one Version of Firefox and without any changes executed does not let me download with the new one.

How to get more downloads at the same time

On my old computer I could download 20 files at the same time (or more, depending on the size). I've got a new computer now but Safari only downloads 4 files at a time: the other files are put on hold and start only when anotehr file has finished downloading.
How can I enable more downloads at the same time?

I'm not using any enhancings apps, so... that can't be it. I did go from 10.3.x to 10.4.x, but I guess that's not the point either. Maybe some internetsettings is keeping things from going full throttle...?
I download from Usenet a lot and downloading multiple files with Safari was very nice: I'd get 20 50 Mb files within a few minutes on my computer. Now I can only get 4 files in that same time (I guess it's a bit faster but not much: I have a VERY fast connection!). Okay, all in all it still only takes half an hour (probably less) to download 3 Gb this way, but I just wonder what's holding Safari back...
(BTW Downloading big files spread into rars is VERY nice! If I had to download a 3 Gb file as ONE file, it would take a LOT more time...! Makes you wonder why not all companies offer their software (specially larger files) in smaller parts... They used to do that in the early internet days because otherwise you would never ever get that file downloaded on that 56k6 line, but nowadays it still would be great if they offered everything in small parts!
