Named Anonymous Users: tabs link back to Default Guest Anonymous

After our migration from 6.0 SP2 to NW SP14, I have configured for using Named Anonymous Users.  I can successfully modify my URL with j_user to show desktop and specific role for user ANON1.  However when I click anything (another tab) it switches views to the default "Guest" user desktop and role.  I have tried many variations on the Default Framework Page by changing the "Load" setting and verified that all authschemes are "anonymous".  Sometimes I can get it to stop jumping to the Guest User but the tabs still do not load correctly, ie. when I click on tab #2 the content changes but the highlited tab stays the same.
Please help!  Has anyone seen this issue in NW SP14 yet?
Regards,
Scott

My OSS note revealed that this issue has a fix that was intended for realease in SPS16 for NW.  They have pre released some PAR files that can implemented to fix this issue for SAP Netweaver 04 SPS 14/15.
The fix can be found in SAP Note 870247.  I found this by searching on Service MarketPlace.  Below is an excerpt from the note re. this issue.
For SAP Netweaver 04 SPS 14/15 copy manually the par file attached to this note in the corresponding zip files for your SPS to the following location under your installation j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment.
Restart the engine. The par files will be deployed on start.

  • User preferences reverted back to default - mail gone

    Preferences seem to have gone back to default. I have only 1 user account on my mac. All bookmarks, mail account details, appearence etc have all reverted. The only thing that I have done today that was out of the ordinary was 'organising my fonts' according to Suitcase website - ie deleting/moving unwanted system fonts from various folders. I'm sure I haven't deleted any significant system folders as all my trashed files are still in bin. Any ideas?

    OK you can stand down - problem over! Had a chat with those nice people from Customer Care - turned out I had accidentally moved my User Library folder into somewhere else. Hence the OS created a whole new Libray folder with default preference...Duh!
    Best way to find out if you have done this is run a search on one of the files within Library and it will show up in 2 places - just replace the newly created folder with the moved one.

  • Background color of TestStand 2012 User Interface Reverts Back to Default After Changing

    I changed the background color and other properties of the Execution and Sequence TestStand Controls in the TestStand 2012 User Interface example code. When I execute the Top Level.vi the TestStand User Controls revert back to their default colors/properties. I saw this problem in the list of TestStand 2010 known issues, is it also a known problem in 2012?

    Hey kelsayd,
    I just tried changing the color of the user interface controls in my user interface (from TestStand 2012) and saw the same behavior. I believe this is because the controls are ActiveX controls and do not permit the same level of customization as LabVIEW controls. I did find this KnowledgeBase article, which mentions the issue and gives one possible solution to the issue: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4E40FA5AEAF3937B86256E89007C74C4?OpenDocument
    Hopefully that will help show how you can set this up, and let us know if you have any further questions about it!

  • Firefox should allow users to maintain their zoom setting when switching to a different page, instead of going back to default every time.

    Page text appears very small on laptop while utilizing full resolution on a dell XPS laptop. Zoomed-in a notch or two it looks good. Readable without squinting. But browse to a different page, and its tiny all over again. Firefox, being the best browser on the web, should think about allowing users to maintain their zoom value when going to a different page, instead of going back to default. Just an idea... I know there's alot of laptops out there and if it's hard for me to read with good eyes, I'm sure it's hard for others.

    The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.
    Try the Default FullZoom Level extension: <br />
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6965
    Or the NoSquint extension: <br />

    Hello,
    Have a problem. All restricted users, on several machines when try to open link in new tab, link opens in new window instead new tab. Pressing ctrl+K or ctrl+T works fine. Resetting browser setting didn't help. Red cross near resetting user customizations.
    Administrators don't have this problem. OS: Windows 7 x64 + IE 11. Machine belongs to workgroup. All available updates are installed. Is there any decision?
    Thanks

    Hi,

  • How do I change font and colors back to default?

    I have changed the font and color of the text through the tools button and the options button and the content tab. I find nothing telling me how to change the font and colors back to default font and colors. Can you advise me? I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Thanks.

    Hi Brenda19605,
    You can use this article to set the fonts and colors: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-fonts-and-colors-websites-use?esab=a&s=font&r=0&as=s
    The default settings for the font are in this article:
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Some%20text%20shows%20up%20bold%20after%20upgrade
    Unfortunately for the default colors has no good reference. But for text it is black (most lower left) color, background is white (most upper left color). Unvisited links is blue (column 8, row 5) and visited link is purple (column 9, row 5).
    Let me know if you need anymore help!

  • FM10/Acrobat X 10-use named destinations for PDF linking

    My company wants our documentation to be accessible from a web page. No problem there. But they want to provide users with links that open the PDF files to a specific section.
    My books are in FM10. I created hypertext named destinations (example hyperlink syntax: newlink alarm) at the points where they want to open the PDF. I then saved the book to PDF, with the Create Named Destinations for All Paragraphs check box selected.
    We are now trying to build a link from the web page to open the PDF at the named destination. Here is some info from the web developer on his syntax:
    These zoom but do not position you to the named destination:
         <a href="Documentation/IO.OS 2.1.3 Technical Overview.pdf#nameddest=alarm&zoom=40">Tech Doc</a>
         <a href="Documentation/IO.OS 2.1.3 Technical Overview.pdf#alarm&zoom=40">Tech Doc</a>
    This positions to the indicated page and zooms:
         <a href="Documentation/IO.OS 2.1.3 Technical Overview.pdf#page=20&zoom=40">Tech Doc</a>
    What are we doing wrong? I've been searching the forums and community help and we've tried all the syntax examples we can find. Thanks so much for any help you can provide!

    Hi Kim,
    Our team recently found a way to put custom named destinations in our FrameMaker files that can be used for linking to specific places in the PDF output (with no strange alphanumeric codes added to the named destinations).
    The named destinations are anchored in FM so they stay with whatever heading/text/graphic/etc they are "attached" to, even as content is added to/removed from the FM files.
    Will the following work as part of the solution you're looking for? (We're also using FM10 and Acrobat X.)
    In FM, insert a new text frame object.
    Type the following code in the text frame: [/Dest /Help123/Dest pdfmark
    where “Help123” is the name that will appear in the PDF for this named destination. This is name you would use in your hyperlinks. Our programmers use this name for the context-sensitive help links in the user interface.
    Right-click on the text frame and select Object Properties. Click to select the PostScript Code check box, then click the Set button.
    NOTE: Once the PostScript Code check box is selected, the text in the text frame cannot be edited. To edit the text in the text frame, you have to first turn off the PostScript Code option, edit the text, and then turn the PostScript Code option back on.
    Select the text frame object, then cut and paste to create a new instance of it. This places the text frame inside an anchored frame.
    You can now “attach” the anchored frame to whatever heading/figure/text/etc the named destination should link to.
    Here's the catch. To get the named destination in the PDF output, you can’t use the “Save as PDF” command in FM – you must print to PDF instead:
    In the FM file, click File >> Print Setup.
    Select Adobe PDF in the Name drop-down list, then click the Properties button.
    Deselect the Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts check box, then click OK.
    Click OK.
    Click File >> Print.
    Select the Generate Acrobat Data check box.
    Click the PDF Setup button to define bookmark links, print quality, etc, then click the Set button when done.
    Click the Print button.
    The generated PDF file should contain all the bookmarks you’ve defined as well as all the named destinations you added (with the exact names you specified).
    Hope that helps. Thanks, and good luck,
    Jason

  • How to: Resetting install location back to "Default Location..." (Windows 8)

    I recently upgraded my PC and added an SSD as my primary drive. Like most people, I also have a secondary drive for most apps and files. In the Creative Cloud App manager, I changed the Installation location to a directory on my secondary drive. The problem was, Some applications I wanted on my SSD for performance reasons and there was no way to change back to the setting "Default location..." Because CC installs both a 32 bit and 64 bit version of some applications, I wanted to make sure that it put them in the correct "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)" folders. After some poking about in the config files I finally found out how to do it.
    (NOTE: The path below is for Windows 8 and possibly Windows 7, for other OS's it will likely be in a similiar path)
    Close the Adobe Creative Cloud app (File > Quit)
    Open this file in notepad: C:\Users\ExampleUser\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE\com.adobe.accc.apps.....prefs
    Search through the text untill you find the install location that you set. Mine was "E:\Program Files\"
    Delete only that path (leave the &lt;) and then save the file.
    Relaunch the Adobe Creative Cloud app
    Then check the Install Location in Preferences. It should now be set back to "Default Location..."

    For Mac OS X (Yosemite) I found you need to do the following:
    1. Quit the Creative Cloud Application in the title bar.
    2. Open Activity Monitor, find the Process named "Adobe Desktop Service". Click the stop sign icon with an "x" in it and select Quit to stop this process.
    3. Edit the file ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/com.adobe.accc.apps.....prefs
       a. Same as in the Windows case, find the line with "installLocation" and delete everything containing a file path between the following "&gt;" and "&lt;"
    4. Restart Adobe Creative Cloud from /Applications/Adobe Creative Cloud/Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Why do system preferences revert back to default every time computer is restarted

    Cannot keep changes to System preferences.  All revert back to default every time computer is restarted.
    Also, all extensions, e.g. adblock, reinstall every time computer is restarted.
    <Personal information edited by Host>

    Back up all data before proceeding.
    This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it, but you do need to follow the instructions below.
    Step 1
    If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.
    Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:
    sudo find ~ $TMPDIR.. -exec chflags -h nouchg,nouappnd,noschg,nosappnd {} + -exec chown -h $UID {} + -exec chmod +rw {} + -exec chmod -h -N {} + -type d -exec chmod -h +x {} + 2>&-
    Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
    Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
    Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
    You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
    The command may take several minutes to run, depending on how many files you have. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear, then quit Terminal.
    Step 2 (optional)
    Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1, if you prefer not to take it, or if it doesn't solve the problem.
    Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
              Utilities ▹ Terminal
    from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open. In that window, type this:
    res
    Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
    resetpassword
    Press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
    Select your startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
    Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
    Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
    Select
               ▹ Restart
    from the menu bar.

    I upgraded to safari 4 final on MAc Leopard. all updates but when I customize the toolbar it stays there fine till I exit safari and re open it. The icons appear for a split second then go back to default.
    I tried rebooting but the customized tool bar wont stay there.

    Hi
    Might be a corrupted preference file. In the Finder, go to Your User Account>Library>Preferences folder. Move to the trash the com.apple.safari.plist file. Then, restart Safari. Preferences have now returned to default values. Reset any custom preferences and tool icons on the toolbar.
    Let me know if the toolbar settings now stick.

  • Printer Queue Settings Mysteriously Reverting Back to Default Settings on 2008 R2 print servers

    Printer Queue Settings Mysteriously Reverting Back to Default Settings on 2008 R2 print servers
    We have 4 Windows Server 2008 R2 print servers, all of which has the same printer queues installed on them that are utilized by a 3rd party printing program that does a round-robin load balancing scheme.
    All printers are a combination of HP and Xerox all running some variation of the HP UPD and the Xerox UPD.  Some use the PCL 5 and some use the PCL 6 version determined by age of printer and need.
    There are typically two printer queues for each physical printer.
    Example:
    LOCATION_ROOM
    LOCATION_ROOM_TRAY2
    The regular queue is ok being left with default setting,
    The _TRAY2 queues are set to print to "labels" or "pre-printed" paper type or a specific tray.
    From time to time, these _TRAY2 queues will revert back to a factory default state and lose the setting to print to a specific paper type or tray.  Sometimes it happens to the _TRAY2 queue on all 4 servers, sometimes just 1 server, etc.  No rhyme
    or reason.
    Disabled Bi-directional options on both the HP and Xerox UPDs per another article on the internet that said bi-directional could cause the printer to send back settings to the driver and cause this issue.  Even with this option off, we continue to see
    printer _TRAY2 queue settings revert back to factory default and lose their specific paper and tray settings.  We have ruled out the possibility that users or other technicians are the ones making these changes so we suspect it is some interaction between
    the servers, printer drivers and printers themselves causing the issue.
    Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    I'd start by using one of the print drivers included in Windows for a few of the printers and confirm it's the universal driver that is causing the issue.
    HP installs some other processes and services on the machine which communicate with the HP devices.
    PML and something else.  You might want to shut those down and see if these processes are the ones modifying the settings.
    Run process monitor to truly identify which processes is causing the modifications.

  • Tab and back-tab out of a JTable

    Hi There,
    I have been working for some time on improving the default behaviour of the tab key within editable JTables. It largely works as required now, but I'm stuck on getting back-tab to leave the table if on row 0, col 0. I register tab and back-tab action in the table's ActionMap that looks like this:
         class TabAction extends AbstractAction {
              public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
                   if (getRowCount() > 0) {
                        int row = getSelectedRow();
                        int column = getSelectedColumn();
                        if (row < 0 || column < 0) {
                             row = 0;
                             column = 0;
                        do {
                             if (++column >= getColumnCount()) {
                                  row++;
                                  column = 0;
                        } while (row < getRowCount() && ! isCellTabbable(row, column));
                        if (row < getRowCount()) {
                             changeSelection(row, column, false, false);
                        } else {
                             clearSelection();
                             transferFocus();
                   } else {
                        transferFocus();
         class BackTabAction extends AbstractAction {
              public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
                   if (getRowCount() > 0) {
                        int row = getSelectedRow();
                        int column = getSelectedColumn();
                        if (row < 0 || column < 0) {
                             row = getRowCount() - 1;
                             column = getColumnCount() - 1;
                        do {
                             if (--column < 0) {
                                  row--;
                                  column = getColumnCount() - 1;
                        } while (row >= 0 && ! isCellTabbable(row, column));
                        if (row >= 0) {
                             changeSelection(row, column, false, false);
                        } else {
                             clearSelection();
                             transferFocusBackward();
                             KeyboardFocusManager fm = KeyboardFocusManager.getCurrentKeyboardFocusManager();
                                // fm.upFocusCycle(BTTTable_Editable.this);
                             // fm.focusPreviousComponent(BTTTable_Editable.this);
                   } else {
                        // transferFocusBackward();
                        // KeyboardFocusManager fm = KeyboardFocusManager.getCurrentKeyboardFocusManager();
                           // fm.upFocusCycle(BTTTable_Editable.this);
                        // fm.focusPreviousComponent(BTTTable_Editable.this);
         }transferFocus() to go to the next screen component works fine - as long as I callsetFocusTraversalPolicyProvider(true); when I create the JTable.
    But the backward traversal just doesn't work - instead it does nothing the first time you press back-tab on row 0 col 0, then if you press it again, focus goes onto the last row/col of the table.
    As an alternative, I thought maybe I could call the Ctrl-back-tab action, but I can't find that registered in the action map - can anyone tell me how ctrl-back-tab is called and whether I can call that code directly?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Where's the rest of your code? What good does posting
    the Actions do if we can't execute your code and see
    how you've installed the Actions on the table? Who
    knows where the mistake is. It may be in the posted
    code or it may be in some other code.Well I assume the Action is registered okay because back-tab within the table works fine, and in fact using a debugger I can see that the focus request code (transferFocusBackward) is being called at the right time. I followed it into that code and it appears that it is picking up the tableCellEditor as the "previous" component which is "why" it isn't working right - not that that helps me to fix it.
    Anyway, just to confirm, here is a complete standalone testcase:import java.awt.Dimension;
    import java.awt.GridBagConstraints;
    import java.awt.GridBagLayout;
    import java.awt.Insets;
    import java.awt.KeyboardFocusManager;
    import java.awt.event.ActionEvent;
    import java.awt.event.FocusEvent;
    import java.awt.event.FocusListener;
    import java.awt.event.InputEvent;
    import java.awt.event.KeyEvent;
    import javax.swing.AbstractAction;

    }I thought it might be the focusGained() code, but commenting that out makes no difference.
    And here is the code I would use to go to the
    previous component:
    KeyboardFocusManager.getCurrentKeyboardFocusManager().
    focusPreviousComponent();I tried that too, as you can see from my original post. It gives the same answer.
    So the big question is why does the FocusManager think that the "previous" field to the table is an editor component within the table?

  • Submited parameters are added to the tab link

    Hello
    I' have ULR-Portlets on my Tab at a portalpage.
    When I do some work on one portlet (submit data), then the data will be added to the links to other tabs.
    Tab-Link-Example:
    http://<server>:7778/portal/page?_pageid=53,1,53_34989:53_35507:53_35579&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL&DATA=VALUE
    When I change the tab, the new tab processes the data application goes wrong.
    What can I do (configuration in the protal?) that the links on the tabs stays the same?
    Gerd
    PS: Gareth Cantrell had this problem, but without a solution (Re: Hiding POSTed parameters in v2

    Hello,<br /><br />I presume you dont want the end-user editing these objects either? If thats the case then use static objects instead. Static objects are not included in the tabbing order. Yes, they are identified with a number when you enable the View | Tabbing Order but only to identify them as part of the reading order. Remember, the tabbing order and reading order share the same sequence.<br /><br />See if you can use a static image instead of an image field. I presume Text1 is already a static text object therefore it wont be tabbed into.<br /><br />If you cant replace the image field with a static image then you can use a workaround. You can protect the access to a field. Protected fields do not participate in the tabbing sequence. Designer does not expose this property so you will have to specify it manually. For example:<br /><br />1. Select the image field.<br />2. Go to the XML Source. If it not opened, go to the View menu and select XML Source. It will show up besides the Preview PDF tab.<br />3. The <field> element will be highlighted. Type access=protected. For example:<br /><br />   <field name="ImageField1" y="25.4mm" x="57.15mm" w="25.4mm" h="30.4mm" access="protected"><br /><br />4. Preview the form.<br /><br />Does this help solve your problem?<br /><br />Hélène<br />Adobe Systems
