NAS showing offline when connected

Hi,
I have a mac running (Yosemite 10.10.1) that is set up with a NAS (WD Cloud) drive which is where all my photos are stored. I set this up with organiszer and was able to import and set up albums, this all worked ok until a few days ago when Elements is saying that the NAS drive is offline when its not.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Images showing offline when they are not - sequence plays fine

I'm using FCE 4.0 and when I open a project that I've been working on for weeks, some of the pictures in one of my directories are showing as offline.
When I go into that bin and click on an offline photo, it shows me the thumbnail and I some of the other pictures which are offline are now visible and other previously visible pictures are now showing offline.
I can play the entire sequence and everything is available and plays fine. I just can't see the photos to add them to my project.
any thoughts?

Maybe I am stupid but if you delete the imagefolder, it will be gone. You can set your default imagefolder: goto Media-> Camera-> Settings-> Use Memory-> Card. You can also backup your card to PC, reformat the card in your phone, because it makes default maps for images, video, audio,.........and then copy your images back to the specific folder.

Show error when connect Company Database by DI API in 2004B

Hi
I use the DI API to connect company database in 2004B. I can get the company lists by SAPbobsCOM.CompanyClass.GetCompanyList().
I write a program to testing the connection that show two different result in client and server side.
- It show the error -2147221164 (Class not registered), when connect company database in client PC.
- The same program run in server, it connected.
I already checked my config as below
- SAP 2004B is installed 7.20.145 SP:00 PL:25
- SAPbobsCOM67.dll is 6.70.188.0 version, and "Special Build Description" is 21.
The client and server side are same config.
Any ideas how I should handle this?

My iPod Classic is frozen. It will not open iTunes or show up when I open iTunes manually. How do I fix this?

I followed all the steps but it said that itouch was unable to connect to itunes because a passcode needs to be entered first, but I'm unable to enter the passcode because the itouch is disabled and all I see is the red message Ipod is disabled. How do I get pass this message to where I can access a keypad to enter code? thanks!

Can't get artist to show up when connecting to shared itunes library

I have been having a problem seeing all of my artists when connecting to itunes on my iphone. I can connect to this shared Itunes library, but when I do I can only see about 12-15 artists not the 1,000's I have. When I go to the songs tab I can see all the songs. How can I see all of my artists again?
I am using itunes 10.0.1 (on my iMac) and Iphone 5 version 6.0.2.

In your itunes on the PC, Apple TV 3rd gen does not show up ever this is normal as Apple TV3 does not store any content you can access from the PC
On your Apple TV to see your PC library, Select Computers from the front screen and it should show your pc library.

IPod classic only shows music when connected to computer

I'm having a problem with my 160 GB iPod classic. Last week, I had it connected to my car stereo (as I always do), and when I unplugged it to plug in headphones while I was shopping, it said "no songs," apparently everything had been erased. When I plugged it back in to my macbook, it had in fact lost all my music, and before I could put anything back on, I had to reformat it in disk utility. Then, I restored and started putting music back on, which took several hours (actually a couple days), because on my computer my music is 320kbps and I have it set to convert to 128 to go on ipod. When it was finished, I ejected it, and it again said "no songs." I plugged it back into the computer, and it shows all the songs, and allows me to play from the iPod in iTunes. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to be working fine when connected, but on its own, nothing. I use a macbook, and this is the only computer I connect it to (and it is not set to sync automatically). Battery is fully charged.

Looks like your car stereo, may have damage the hardisk, due to unreliable power supply or hard bump.
Do a disk diagnostic, here is the old post by regular contributor -tt2.

Listing of apps not showing up when connecting iPhone

When iPhone is connected to Macbook Pro, app listing doesn't show up to edit etc, screen shots show up on the right side, but no list on the left of apps .. please advise .. Thanks

Camera does not show up when connected to Macbook Air

I'm connecting my Sony NEX-F3 to my new Macbook Air for the first time.
When connected via USB the screen on the camera says to 'Check the connected device'. On my old Macbook the camera would autmotically appear on my desktop however this one is not responding at all. I have checked Disk Utility & Finder to see if it has appeared there instead but no luck, any advice?

This is a new computer? Why not take it to an Apple store and have the techs there work on it. I would take the camera and hard drive along so they see exactly what you see.

Printer offline when connected to Time Capsule

I moved my HP All-In-One C4580 from my office to my home. At home, I use my Time Capsule as my primary wireless router.
I have followed every step that HP tells me, in terms of removing and reinstalling the software, and still, the only way I can print is to have the printer connected directly to my MacBookPro via a USB cable. I was expecting to be able to use it either wirelessly, like it says it is supposed to be capable of, or with it wired to my Time Capsule via USB. The last piece of advice I got from tech support at HP was this:
"I recommend you to open the EWS Page of your router and check the MAC filtering option. I would request you to contact Apple for the assistance on the same. The printer works after connecting to Mac using USB cable and the message 'Printer offline' appears after connecting to the Apple Time capsule base station."
I cannot figure out what the EWS page is, or how I would get to it.

I ran the network utility but only the macbook had a .local suffix. I'm struggling to understand the info from Netstat to be honest and obviously I'm not keen on sharing my network data with the rest of the interweb.
I did try moving the TC into the same room as the HH5. I moved all the connections from the HH and plugged them into the gigabit ethernet ports on the TC and ran one Cat6 from the TC WAN port into the HH, using it as a modem only. This was not the setup I was hoping for as I am running out of room for kit, but annoyingly, this does give me a solid AirPlay connection on all my devices when on the TC network.
I did a comparison on each setup with netstat and I see that in the first 'Internet' table that the TC is not mentioned in the old setup(TC in separate room) but is listed in the 'Internet' table when I have it plugged up as above.
It seems that whenever I have the music streamer plugged in to the TC directly I get AirPlay but if it daisy chained through the HH ethernet hub I get an intermittant and flaky AirPlay connection.
Any more thoughts?

Crystal Report not showing fields when connected to a stored procedure

I have a Stored Procedure that returns results when run in SQL Server, but when I add this to a Crystal Report it doesn't show any fields in the Field Explorer. But if I try any other SP, it works fine and I can see its fields.
As you can see in the picture below, I am unable to expand the fields in the report while creating the report using standard report procedure too.
I tried different ways, but nothing worked for me here. Please help me here.
(FYI, I am using Crystal Reports 2008, SQL Server 2008R2)

I just found out the reason for this issue.
I wrote the stored procedure using the fields in the Datamart but the fields in the datamart in backend are connected to a different database which doesn't have SQL Server Authentication (for the Credentials) and that's the reason I was getting this issue.
Once my BI team granted the permission, for that fields connecting to the backend database, I was able to see all fields in the Crystal Report.

Hello, I using (newest) Skype on my computer, and one time i used it too on Windows Phone... First time when i get trouble to other see im online but no i will logout all devices online.. Sooo/showplacesand/remotelogout .So, its helped, but anyway, yesterday i taked a sleep my computer... After a 20 minutes ago has powersupply stopped work so Network card etc has stops working... Nokia c7-00 showing offline when inserting relance...

am from kerala and curently using tata docomo sim in kerala circle and it works well...am studying in tamilnadu and when i insert reliance sim in tamilnadu circle,it wents offline and i cant even access the network selection menu..whenever i select network selection menu,its shows like phone is in offline mode...even i cant change the offline mode from profiles...the same reliance sim works well when i put the same in other mobile,,,

Focusrite Saffire does not show up when connected to Imac by Firewire 800

When I connect my focusrite saffire to my i7 imac 27" via the firewire 800 port, the device does not show up on the computer, however it does light up indicating it is being powered off the firewire. When I click on "about this mac<more info<firewire", all I see is this " Maximum Speed: Up to 800 Mb/sec", I have checked and my "AppleFWAudio" file is up to date. The Focusrite uses Firewire 400 but I use an adaptor which converts it to 800, I have tried different adapters and cables from a number of companies which were suggested by Focusrite themselves and none of them worked.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?

I too was having problems connecting my Focusrite Saffire to my new iMac 27" i7. It would light up and click several times, but it would never be in a ready state w/ both LINE indicators being green. The Saffire Control software would say the the Saffire DSP didn't load and to unplug it and re-plug and wait for the lights to turn green, but that never happened. I called Sweetwater (where I bought the unit) and they didn't seem to know of any prevailing issues, BUT the tech did suggest to reboot the iMac in 32 bit mode (hold down the '3' and '2' keys during startup). I did that and replugged the Saffire but it exhibited the same problem. I unplugged it and left it for like 3 minutes then reattached the firewire cable and it mounted. I opened up the Sound preferences and was able to select it and get sound out of it. I then opened DP and ran a quick test and it worked as well. The next test was to reboot into 64 bit mode. I did that while the Saffire was still connected and it actually stayed mounted and connected upon reboot. I have my System Sound output running through it right now and its still working. I haven't tried DP yet, but will do that later. I'm not going to reboot again until I hear back from Focusrite. I sent in a help request last night.

Automaticlly "Show Details" when connecting to Remote Dekstop Machine

here has been several occasions when I have waited for a remote window to connect to a machine until the MSTSC window disappears with no message. Each time, I find that it is due to a message that would have been easily rectified if I had noticed
that I could press the "Show Details" button (sometimes, it is greyed out at the beginning of the connection).
Is it possible to have this expand automatically when available, and how would this be accomplished?

Please share us a screenshot about grey out ‘show detail’ button.
If you mean the Options in the screenshot mentioned above, I go through

in local group policy editor, but can’t find any project to enable it.
About the group policy issue, it is recommended to ask in the TechNet Group Policy forum.

As you have the problem about “MSTSC window disappears with no message”, the computer has this issue when it tries to connect to any remote computers?
Please open the Local group policy editor and go to Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Session Time Limits\End session when the time limits are reached,
disable it and check if the MSTSC windows disappear again.

Belkin UPS does not show up when connected to MacPro via USB

I have just replaced my aging DP G4 machine with a MacPro. I added a UPS with a USB connection. It was advertised as being Mac compatible.
After many tries to get the horrible Belkin software to work, I gave up. The worst part is that The UPS will not show up even in the Energy Saver preference pane.
I checked if the USB connection is working OK on the UPS and it seems to work, although it reports itself as "Cypress Semiconductor Serial to USB" in the System profiler.
Any ideas of what I could try to get this to work? As of now, it I am not around to shut down the machine, the battery backup is useless...

I can't offer any real help here other than to say that the Belkin UPS does work with a Mac Pro. I was running one on my G5 and when I replaced that last week with a Mac Pro I simply plugged it in and it worked.
I have never tried to use the Belkin software; I read somewhere on these forums I think that it's rubbish and because OS X supports UPS out of the box I have always relied on that.
I am connected via USB. The Energy Saver UPS panel simply shows the UPS name as "UPS", and in System Profiler itsimply says "Belkin".
BTW, I also have a Belkin UPS on my wife's iMac and it does exactly the same.
I know they work because we have had power outs here and the UPS devices have kicked in just fine.
I am guessing—but this is only a guess—that you may have some remnants of the Belkin software still on your system and that this may be interfering with Energy Saver. I would maybe try to do a finder search (apple+F from the desktop) for "Belkin" and see if that shows anything. Maybe ask Belkin what gets installed so you could check it's all gone?
