Navigation Profile in Purchasing Reports / MM
Dear Experts ,
Pls tell me if there is navigation profile in MM reports . I have seen the same in PP reports but couldnt find the same functionality in MM .

Hi Sneha,
Go to the T. code COOIS enter the initial selection parameter then you will get the details of production order header screen in this detail screen you check the arrow type icon, this icon is form Nevegation profile select the change profile. Then select the row application tool bar. Here you will get the '+' sign like icon select the CALL TRANSACTION.

Dashboard prompt filter navigating to different tabular reports
Hi,
I was able to implement this halfway.
My Dashboard prompt has 4 filters, the fourth filter has three drop down values.
"Report with Sales Amount"
"Report with Purchase Amount"
"Report with both Purchase and Sales"
when the user selects the first choice, it should navigate to my "SALES-REPORT" which is section2 of the dashboard page.
when the user selects the second choice, it should navigate to my "PURCHASE-REPORT" which is section3 of the dashboard page.
when the user selects the third choice, it should navigate to my "COMBINED-REPORT" which is section4 of the dashboard page.
All three are three entirely different report, so far with previous advice, i have created the Dashboard prompt and the presentation variable, but unable to proceed further.
Thanks for your time and help.I will show you how to do it with one. Repeat for the other two reports.
1) Build a small report with any two CHAR columns. For the first column, click on the fx, copy the column name and then delete it. Type this: CASE WHEN 1=0 THEN (paste the column name you copied here) ELSE 'Report with Sales Amount' END. The second column leave as is. The reason for the second column is because OBIEE requires every report to have at least one column. Since we "dummied out" the first column, if you don't have another column, OBIEE will error.
2) Put a filter on the first column and set it to the Presentation Variable you had for the fourth column prompt (the one the users can select "Report with Sales Amount" from).
3) On your dashboard, drag the "SALES-REPORT" report to a section.
4) On this section, click on the Section Properties button (NOT the report Properties button!) and select Guided Navigation.
5) Browse to the small report you created in step 1) and click on the "when the report returns rows" radio button.
So what this does is this: When the user selects "Report with Sales Amount" from the dashboard prompt, it will produce a row on your small report. And because of this, the Guided Navigation of the section will display this report. When the user selects anything else, the small report will return no rows and this section will not display.
Repeat the above for the other two reports making the proper modifications. -
I created a new navigation profile for MD04 for purchasing in the Develpoment client. I want to move it to QA and PRD but the normal transport method is not working. Can anyone give me step-by-step instructions on how to create the transport for this Profile. I have read some documentation in the SAP Library but I don't think it is referring to this type of navigation profile. Any assistance is appreciated.

Yes I could only manage the transaction call. No specific reason as such, other than it is what users have got use to in the previous version. You know what happens when something changes!.

Import of Navigation Profile of COOIS
Hello Masters,
I have created Navigation Profile under COOIS in client where order data is available as explained under example heading at "http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/c6/c04942da51690de10000000a155106/frameset.htm".
As mentioned in above link, I tried import option in customising client via the transaction "NAVP_MANAGE" as well as through COOIS. In transaction "NAVP_MANAGE", I didn't get any value for import and in COOIS there was no list generation as there was no data in system.
So, the problem is as I was unable to import Navigation Profile into customising client from client with appication data (both clients are in same system), I can't move forward to include this into transport request.
Any input on import or transportation of Navigation Profile will be be helpful.

DevangYou might be using the program name as PPIO_ENTRY but SAP doesn't store navigation profile for that program because it has different type of navigation profiles for different type of report executions like Order Header, Component list, Item list, Operation list.
The Navigation profiles are stored in table NAVP_PROFILE use SE16N to look up it's entries, there you can see all the navigation profiles (for all the programs, both user specific and global). User specific profiles have username in username field.
For example if you have created navi profile for COHV/COOIS Order headers then the program name would be PPIOH000; Order components would be PPIOM000 etc...
Use them program names in TCode: NAVP_MANAGE -
CR2008 Purchasing Report needed

Has anyone created a Purchasing report in Crystal Reports 2008 based on AP Invoices and AP Credit Notes. I have created a WPA (Weekly Purchase Analysis) report but based off AP Invoice table (OPCH & PCH1), now the company is wanting to have Credit Notes added to this report.
I have created a UDF called WPA on the OPCH form which is a Mandatory field so when running the WPA Report you can run it by WPA # and Project to get your results (Parameter), now how will I acheive this by adding the AP Credit Note fields ORPC & RPC1 to the report so if I create x2 Invoice's (different suppliers) for say WPA # 1010 and I Credit one, on the WPA Report I will want to see Invoice 1 (NumCard = 1) = R100, Invoice 2 (NumCard = 2) = 100, Credit Note 1 (NumCard = 2) = -100, Total = 100.
Any suggestions or ideas will be most helpful.

That is possible using "Shared Variable".

1.Initialize a shared variable in Report.
2.Pass the Credit memo value to the 'Shared variable' in Sub-report
3.Now create a formula in Report like
Sub-total = {Invoice total} - {SharedVariable}

User/Profile Risk Violation Report table is empty
Dear community,
I am struggeling to find the solution for a quite simple problem: the user and profile risk violation report tables show no results (are empty). And this, although the associated tables (in the backend) contain entries for the same selection criteria (eg. GRACPROFILEACTVL etc.). What could be the reason for that? I started again the batch risk analysis very carefully (manually) on User and Profile Level, for the correct rule set and the correct system, it completed successfully, but I still can't see any results (not even a message like "No violations" or something). As an example, I took the profile SAP_ALL for a target system, which should obviously return a lot of risks/violations.
I have also checked that this is not an authorization issue. To be more precise, actually, this functionality is working fine on the development and UAT GRC system, but not in production.

The problem you are facing with only due to the SoD rule sets, which are in active as you might not have generated in Production system
Generate the SoD rule sets, run the jobs and then run the risks reports, you will get the results as expected.

If you input the type as ABAPER, then you have the options and (hopefully) a good quality report.

The report takes parameters determining the time period for which the report is to be run, ex: from Jan 1 2008 - Aug 1 2008.

I do not fully understand how the SQL query (the stored procedure) dbo.xxPurchasing Report calculates these numbers. If it is helpful, I could post the SQL query in its entirety or in part.

We have a customer whos PO's are not showing up on our purchasing reports. I am thinking it has something to do with needing to run some type of process to maybe sync up addresses or something. Anyone have an idea!

There is change launch pad option is available , but i want to hide for all the users.

0vtype is used to differentiate a keyfigure with respect to its value type like actual value and planned value.
But what is the use of 0vtype as a filter in Purchasing Reports where there are no planned values and why is it always 10 - does it mean that its always actual value?

I think in case of Controlling module, we have to specify 0VTYPE in query level , as in r/3 we define budget, planning figures for a period/fiscal year.
And for purchasing it should be actuals only.

i recently got a refurbished 16gb nano from apple. added photos few days ago, and now all my photos in the picture folder of my computer have vanished, i just synched my ipod and non of them were synched off the ipod..the only thing in 'My pictures'
