Need a Hierarchical Tree-type library for Nodes

Is there a good library out there (perhaps in java itself?) that will allow me to create Heirarchies of data using nodes? Kinda like C's glib GNode class maybe?
In other words, I need to be able to make nodes, give them information, add them to parent nodes, add children to them, find nodes, get all nodes at a certain level, etc.

Thanks, I'll take a look at this, but just to make sure I'm not missing out, does anyone know of any other implementations that are better than this? More optimized or something? (I gotta check all my options)

1. In transaction OBA7, you should fill up the field for all the
   document types which you want to control. If it is left blank, then
   all the users will be able to post document with that document type.
   Hence, if user A is authorised to post to document type X and in
   the configuration of document type Y field authorisation group is
   left blank, then user A will be able to post document with document
   type Y.
2. Also you need to enable authorisation check in transaction PFCG and
need to assign the authorisation group in the profile.
3. I would recommend you to go through SAP notes 198238 and 150496 for the
   purpose of your information.

Need Simple Hierarchical Tree Example

Can someone e-mail me a simple, working hierarchical tree example, along with what tables i need to insert into the database? Like the car/airplane example, or employee/department example.
I tried following the instructions in the Introduction to Hierarchical Tree example from metalink, but the tree still does not display on my form, even though the data query is valid. Nothing happens when i click the button.

Thats what i don't understand, you see. There is no query error. I know when there is, because when i type the query wrongly, the error prompts. However, when the query is correct, nothing happens. When i go through in debug mode, it does enter the statement to populate the tree. This is my record group/data query(i tried putting it in both) :

Hierarchical Tree error - fighting for over a year

For over a year now, our Oracle forms have presented an elusive problem with Hierarchical Trees. First some core information:
We are running Developer 6i, patchset 8, on a Sun host and an Oracle 8i database. Our forms are deployed over the web on the
Oracle Application Server using J-Initiator 1.1.7.27.
Now, only on our Production platform, and only during busy times of the day, we randomly get the error "Invalid Query for Hierarchical
Tree" when one of our tree-based forms populates the tree. This error is sometimes followed by the infamous
FRM-92100 "connection has been terminated" error. This happens whether building the tree with a single Selec and Populate Treet,
or via a systematic series of Add Tree Node calls.
We have tried rebuilding the form logic to eliminate form corruption, (form corruption - happens if you open a large FMB in the
forms developer without first being connected to the database, manifests itself as random and odd form behaviour,
or FRM-92100 errors, Oracle product support denies it really happens), we have added debug code, we've even tried generating
the FMX on the Production platform as part of our deployment (normally we generate FMX files on our Integration platform
which mirrors Production).
We are not scheduled to upgrade for Forms 9i and the 9IAS for several more months, so upgrading isn't an immediate option for us.
Any and all ideas welcome.

1. When the publisher sends the access permission to the subcriber by:

, on the subscriber side, what event or function can handle the guaranteed receipt of the access permission? Currently it is possible to draw the incoming stream video upon receiving NetStream.Play.Star and waiting for 5 seconds or so:

Forms Builder-hierarchical tree(expanding and collapsing nodes)

hi friends,
can anyone help me with populating my hierarchical tree form by using codes for collapsing and expanding?
for instance when_button_pressed:
tree_control.expand_all(tree_control.v_item_name); //this is for expanding all the nodes in the tree structure
well, i have an sql statement in my record group which in turn defines the structure of the hierarchical tree.
Is it possible to just use the codes 'tree_control.expand_all(tree_control.v_item_name);' like that in the when-button-pressed trigger?

Need help with output type EDI for ERS

All,
I want to be able to run and ERS settlement and have the invoices created sent via EDI/XML to the supplier.   I have several questions on the set up.
1) I have output type ERS6 which is defined as ERS EDI. I assume because it does not start with Z* this is SAP standard, so I shouldn't have to modify any of this.
2) I've added my supplier to this output type.
3) I assume I need to create a partner profile for this supplier? If so can someone tell me the message type to use?
Is there any set up I'm missing in this process?   I've executed ERS but do not get an idoc and I'm fairly certain it's because I haven't done the partner profile set-up.

You don't have to modify thise setup unless you have any customized requirement.
You are missing partner profile setup.Carry out the setup and run MRRL tcode to create the idocs
Enter the following values using tcode WE20.
Field                                       Value

Partner function                        LF (vendor)
Port                                         SUBSYSTEM ( Port to your middleware)
Output mode                            such as Collect IDocs

In CVI, you can get the parameter information into a DLL. First of all, you have to have a function panel (.fp) file with all of your exported functions defined as function panels. From this function panel file you can also generate a windows help file to document your DLL. Once you have the .fp file and .hlp file, you can enable references to them in the build target settings (Build->Target Settings...). Select "Type Library..." and check "Add type library resource to DLL" and "include links to help file" then browse to your .fp file. If there are descepencies between the functions defined in your .fp file and the actual functions you have exported in the DLL, then you may get a compiler error.

I need help with the VPAID library for OSMF

I recently needed to create a VPAID based player for a client and I want it to get rid of the old JWPlayer/OVA approaching and go for the OSMF with VAST/VPAID libaries. The fact is that I tried to use your sample application from SVN files (VPAIDSample) but for some reason the LinearAD is played in the same time with the video clip (the clip to play) and is not visible. Also I can only hear the sound of it and at some point the sound from the LinearAD is played over the sound of the video clip. I don't know if I was specific enough but please let me know if you have a sollution on this matter or if you need any other information.

I think this problem could be linked to the changes in the layout API and the order of the loading of the video elements.
Please try to add layoutmetadata with index property to parallel videos so they render in the correct order, something like:

            videoElement.addMetadata(LayoutMetadata.LAYOUT_NAMESPACE, layout1);
            var layout2:LayoutMetadata = new LayoutMetadata();

Type librarys for DLL functions that TestStand understands for parameter information

Using the C/C++ DLL call adapter I would like to specify a call to a DLL function and have TestStand (3) understand the parameter information.
Usually it says 'there is no parameter information available'. Today however I tried building a DLL in Visual C++ instead of CVI and got a bit further. TestStand recognized that there WAS parameter type information but then said 'The type library for this DLL does not contain enough information to determine whether this function parameter is a pointer to a single item, or an array of items."
So in a nutshell, does anyone know what options (in CVI or MSVC) I need to build with so that TestStand recognizes the function prototypes exported in the DLL? After all it's alot of work to type in all that parameter information.

Using output type ET01 for Material Label

Hello,
We are looking to implement a label for Deliveries through various processes which include manual and MIGO.
We have already implemented the GR label using the output type WEE1, however, we need to implement another label for Goods Issue as well.
From our understanding we need to use output type ET01 for delivery labels. However, we need inputs on how to implement this output type. And can we also print this output form through MIGO, as I understand message is determined only at the delivery level which comes after MIGO?
Please correct me if the output type ET01 is not meant for deliveries/GI label.

Diagnosis
You want to define resource selection conditions. In this case, you need to classify the operations with class type 019. The data for class type 019 must be converted first.
Procedure
1. In Customizing for the Classification System, call the classifiable object types.
2. Make a note of the settings for the following objects in object table CRHD (work center) and class type 019:
AFVC
CRHD
PLPO
3. Delete these objects and save your settings.
4. In the main menu, choose Tools -> ABAP Workbench, and then Development -> ABAP Editor.
5. Enter the program name RCCLUKA2 and choose Execute.
6. Enter class type 019 and choose Execute.
The system converts the data of this class type.
7. Call the classifiable object types in Customizing for the Classification System again.
8. Use the settings you have written down to create the objects again that you have deleted before

The classification data of the resource has not yet been converted.
So that the same classes can be used for defining the selection conditions as for classifying resources, a conversion must be carried out for class type 019.

This type library for the adapter API is embedded in the teapi.dll. If you are using Visual Studio.NET, there is an attribute called tlbid that you can use with the #import directive in order to import that embedded library (see the MSDN documentation for more details). For example:
#import tlbid(2)
In VC++ 6.0, there is no way to import embedded type libraries. Therefore, you must use the attached type library file (.tlb) with the #import directive. For example:
#import "TsAdpApi.tlb"
