  • Does a trial version of Acrobat X Pro needs a license key to operate it?

I just downloaded the trial version of Acrobat X Pro but when I downloaded a PDF sent to me by e-mail, it opened it with the Acrobat X Pro, then a window opened requiring a License key number, if not I had to purchase the product, o cancel the operation. Therefore I could not print the PDF that I needed! Does anybody know where I can access the license key # for a trial version?

Trials have no serials. Refer to this:
    Adobe trial software expired early
And if all you need is print a PDF, the free Reader will do that just fine.

  • Do I need a license key for iPlanet Web Svr 6?

We downloaded and installed an eval copy of iPlanet Web Server, Enterprise edition. Then we bought a license for it from Programmer's Paradise. What we got was a nice certificate, with a "Product Number" on it. There's no license key on the certificate, and no apparent place to put one in the web server's admin screens. Do we need to do anything at all to legitimize this web server before we put it in production?

    Hi,
    As i know.
    # There's no license key on the certificate, and no apparent place to put one in the web server's admin screens.
You need't to put any liceense key on web server admin screens.
    # Do we need to do anything at all to legitimize this web server before we put it in production?
no need to put anything with iws. I hope you can go to production.
Make sure that don't put eval copy in production machine.
    Thanks,
    Daks.

  • Need license key for a software I bought

I got the Mundu Radio Plus from the App World. I did not get the license key. I contacted the support for the software and they told they can not generate a license key, that this is done by the App World. Please inform how to get this license key. Thanks,

You shouldn't need a license key if the app was purchased in AppWorld, the license key is part of the "purchase" and should recognize as a paid app.
If you continue to have problems with this, call your mobile provider tech support and have them escalate this issue to RIM level tech support.

  • Do we have a way to pull the license key from each Oracle Instance?

    Dear all Oracle Experts,
I don't remember having to put the license key whenever I create the oracle instance. But is there away to pull it from the instance?

The difference between oracle software and other software such as microsoft, is that you don't need a license key to use the software, it is already open and fully functional. Oracle assumes customers will use the software they are allowed to use according to the license agreement. Customers would not be happy to have a lawsuit on their desktops due to improperly using copyrighted material.

  • Net Weaver License Key

    Hello Experts,
Kindly, after I installed the SAP Solution Manager 7 I must create a License Key for this product, and when I try to install SAP Net Weaver Over the Solution Manager the Net Weaver Installer Required A License Key. So can I use the license key that created for the solution manager or I have to have a new license key for the Net Weaver before the installation?
    Thank You And,
    Best Regards.
    Tarek Salama

    Hi,
Observe the difference between a license key and an installation key.
Installation Key: Required during installation, is asked by the SAPInst tool. This is generated via the Solution Manager. So no installation key required for Solution Manager. But when you install another Netweaver system, generate an installation key in the Solution Manager via tcode SMSY for the new Netweaver system. Check HowTo: http://www.saptechies.com/step-by-step-procedure-to-generate-solution-manager-key-smsy-solution-manager-40/
License Key: A valid license key is required for every system - be it Netweaver or Solution Manager, for users to login to the system. You need seperate license keys for Solution Manager and Netweaver systems. Generate it from http://service.sap.com/licensekeys

  • CAF License Key

    Hi!
I have recently installed Netweaver 2004 SP15 Sneak Preview and in order to investigate the Composite Application Services perspective it seems that I need a license key. Can anyone help me with this?
    Regards, Christian

Hi Kartik, thank you som much for your help but it seems that i do need to obtain an acess key.
The problem occurs in Netweaver Developer Studio SP15 when I try to switch to the Composite Application Services (CAS) perspective. The message goes like this:
    "NO ACCESS KEY
SAP Composite Application Framework is currently only available for pilot customers.
In order to access the Composite Application Services Perspective in SAP Netweaver Developer Studio, please post a message in the SAP xApps forum in order to obtain an access key"
I have seen other posts on this forum regarding the same issue, in one case you were supposed to send en e-mail to an SAP employee in order to get the access key. Is it possible for me to do the same?
    Regards, Christian

  • Windows license key from sticker are unreadable

I was looking at the bottom of my T400 today, and I noticed that both the Windows Vista sticker that the machine came with and the Windows 7 sticker that contains the license keys are unreadable. It appears that the license keys have faded the same way that something printed on thermal paper (like an old school fax machine or a cash register receipt) fade over time or when exposed to heat.
Obviously I don't care about the Vista sticker as I upgraded for free to Windows 7. However, if something were ever to happen to the machine and I needed the license key (such as a reinstall) I'd like to know how to go about getting one.
I noticed on the T420 that the sticker is located in the battery compartment, and this sticker shows no signs of fading.
When asking for help, post your question in the forum. Remember to include your system type, model number and OS. Do not post your serial number.

It looks to me that the serials are printed using some sort of laser printer on top of preprinted sticker stock. The fused toner that forms the characters is prone to wear from abrasion such as when you slide the ThinkPad in and out of a sleeve. Print something that has a lot of black on standard paper using a laser printer. Fold the paper over the black and you'll see that the toner has cracked. I believe something similar happens with the stickers on the bottom of ThinkPads.
For the past several years, starting with T60 series, I've always put a layer of standard 3M office tape over the serials on the bottom of every ThinkPad. These serials include MTM, Windows, MAC addresses, etc. All of these serials are as readible today as they were when the ThinkPad was new. This also suggests it's an abrasive wear not thermal degradation issue.
I suspect the stickers got moved inside the battery compartment (or elsewhere like inside the SIM/SD compartment on TPT2) for this reason.
    Cheers... Dorian Hausman

  • Need help in activation a license key in CCT. It works as a trial now

Need help in activation a license key in CCT. It works as a trial now

1st the sata drive cannot be listed as a slave drive to the ide master [key word=ide-can be configured as master OR slave, master IF only 1 hd, master and slave IF 2 hds], on the sata controler you can have master and slave, the ide cable has two connectors for the hds, sata has only 1 hd connector.
are you wanting to install the sata as primary master and move the operating sys to that drive, if so you will need an IMAGING software to move an operating system OR you could do a fresh operating system install to the sata drive then install your programs.

  • ASA 5505 Failure replaced and need to move the license key?

Can someone point me in the right direction? My ASA 5505 died due to a power surge and I swapped it with a spare. I had Security Plus and a 50 user license and need to move the license keys from the failed ASA 5505 to the new one. I kept both my emails with the activation keys, but not sure how I get this transferred?  Thanks in advance.
    Joe

I think this is totally unacceptable. For anyone else who uses a 5505 at home and has bought licenses and the hardware out of their own pocket, the idea here should be that you've already bought the hardware and the license. Seems obvious, right?
Yes I can see the license being device specific if not only because that's the way you've designed your licensing activation schema; but if I've just had your product fail and bought another replacement, there should be an understanding or agreement between Cisco and the user that we can reinstate any licenses we've already bought.
Do you really believe it's fair to make someone buy something from you twice, something that they've already bought from you? Do you actually believe that? I believe that the people in the Cisco Licensing department would agree with my viewpoint and I have a pending case with them for this issue right now. I will post my result here.
Make your products last and perhaps I can give credence to your licensing beliefs, until then your products fail and so does your licensing logic.
