Suddenly when I am login in Portal with J2EE_ADMIN or any user , I am getting error
You are not authorized to access this application; contact your system administrator
and when I am going to create user in identity management I am getting below error
Current user has user creation permissions in the UME, but cannot create users in the back-end system (data source). The original and possibly untranslated message was: "No active writeable datasource found for user creation, check your Persistence Configuration.".
I have searched all related treads in SDN but no success
Please help.

Dear all,
I was searching the community because I had this same error and there was no answer of how it was fixed. So I'm sending how I fixed today in a customer environment.
1. Go to portal http://<portal>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcsecumewdumeadmin/UmeAdminApp
- select configuration
- folder "sap system based in abap"
- do the conection test
If the test fails, log on in client 001 and change user SAPJSF:
- assign role SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION (only this one) and one profile that has permission to RFC logon
- you can change the password too
STOP/START ABAP+JAVA
Go again to the portal above and test connection again. The tests should now be OK.
2. Go to portal http://<portal>/irj
- Log on with administrator user
Now you should be able to create an user.

Need help for user exit mereq001

Hi,
I need help for user exit mereq001. I think I messed up with include table CI_EBANDB and CI_EBANMEM. And When I tried to check the syntax . It gives me error like : <b>Class IF_PURCHASE_REQUISITION. Inconsistency in the dictionary for the structure mereq_item_s_cust_data.</b> Anyone had experience for this exit? I just need to extract costcenter information of the each item from the requisition and block the requisiton if the costcenter are differents from each other before the requisition is saved. Any one has idea about it?

Have you checked this struture consistency from SE11. Also check the activation log.
If there are any errors and you are not able to rectify the same use RSDDCHECK program, give your table name and run the report.
This will list down the error structures releated this table and also prompts for you to activate it.

Workflow for User Creation

I would like to implement the Work Flow for User Creation, i.e.whenever the admin creates the user id, it should go to manager for approval and after that it pwd should be delivered to the respective user.
Can any one guide me on how to implement the same. Also I would like to know the use of customisation under Set Approval Indicator in IMG settings.

Needed urgent help for user creation in security manager in ODI 11g

Hi Gurus,
I have an urgent requirement in ODI security manager and i am completely helpless. We need specific steps for the user creation with sufficient priviledges. The detailed requirements are:
1. There is a group of users under the framework team and these users should be able to edit the Knowledge modules only. All other objects (e.g. projects, interface, procedures or development related objects) should only be in read only mode for them.
2. There is a group of users under the development team. The priviledges of these users should be mutually exclusive to that of the framework team users. i.e. the development team should be able to edit or delete all development related objects (e.g. projects, interface, proc etc.) but the knowledge modules should only be in read only mode for them.
Now I will explain what i have tried out:
I am working on ODI 11.1.1.5.
I have created a user with NG DESIGNER and CONNECT profile. Dragged and dropped all the projects on the user and selected all methods in all repositories (check sign). However when i connect with that user i cannot open the KMs (as far as development team is concerned its fine) but i can also not open interfaces as well as procedures (which is not acceptable from development point of view).
Also when i tried creating a user from the framework team point of view i could not see any option related to KMs (To give edit priviledge).
Please help me out guys. I have also searched oracle documentation and believe me the security manager section is not very good. If you guys can help me out with specific steps it would be great (I have tried the hints given in oracle documentation and they dont work, the ODI security manager behaves strangely :-(

How can it be done? Is there any API for this?
I was googling for a long time and can't see anything.

While I recognize the potential for abuse, an API for determining whether or not Narrator is running would be very useful for developing accessible apps that work across devices.
In my limited experience developing the test application for a Cordova accessibility plugin on Windows Phone 8.1, I can provide a couple good reasons for providing a way to detect if Narrator is running.
Aria live regions simply don’t appear to work on Windows Phone 8.1. If you test any web pages that use live regions, Narrator on Windows Phone fails to announce changes to the live region.
Live regions seem to work on the desktop, but are harder to work with for providing text to speech for complex interactions than the Windows.Media.SpeechSynthesis API. For example:
It’s difficult to stop speaking a live region update. Once, a screen reader starts speaking a string from a live region, removing the text node or replacing it with an empty string will not stop speaking that string.
I’ve implemented "speak" and "stop" methods to speak or stop speaking a string of text in my Cordova accessibility plugin for Windows, but without knowing whether or not Narrator is on or off, the methods will work all the
time, even when Narrator is off, which is not desirable.
Cordova apps are often developed to use gestures for navigation. The pointer event listeners that respond to these gestures may not be accessible when Narrator is active, in which case is important to provide an alternate mode of navigation. Windows

You need to first create a currency translation types using transaction RRC1.
Tab1 - Exchange Rate: -
You need to give a exchange rate based on which currency conversion will take place. Check with your business which exchange rate type to be used. You need to extract these exchange rate types from R/3 on a daily basis.
Tab2 - Source Currency
In your case it should be " Source Currency from data record".
Tab3 - Target Currency
You can set the target currency fixed as
USD.
Tab4 - Time reference
You need to check this with business.
You have got two places where you can perform a currency translation.
1) In the update rules and store the converted amounts in USD in cube.
2) Store the original transaction records in the cube and do the currency conversion at the query level.
I would suggest to go for option 2. In the query select the key figure that you want to carry out the currency conversion on. Right click -> properties -> currency translation -> selct the translation key that you have already defined.

LDAP object classes for user creation

Hello,
I use a remote LDAP for authentication, works fine. However, i want of copy some attributes from the remote LDAP into the dynamically created user profile. This works fine as long as the attributes are par5t of the standard object classes. The remote LDAP has an extra, site specific, object class for users. Since i want to use the same attribute names i added the schema extension (1 object class with a couple of attributes) to the AM LDAP. So far so good.
My question is: How do i specify the additional object class to be added to the user which is dynamicaly created?

To resolve this, I believe that you will need to add the new objectclass to the "LDAP User Object Classes" field on the LDAP Data Store. You will also need to add the attributes to "LDAP User Attributes" on the same tab.

Need help with API for contract creation

Hi,
Using OKS_IBINT_PUB.IB_INTERFACE API, how do I populate the Known As (COGNOMEN) column of okc_k_headers_tl? The API does not provide any parameter for this. I can resort to a direct update to the table, but this API does not return any contract information(ID) based on which I can safely update the record.

You got to define the Document Types in the System Setup form of OKE at Setup --> System Setup, then you could eneter type of a Contarct.
Master Agreement is the Basic Ordering Agreement, Master Purchase Agreement or Blanket Agreement.
