Need Clarification on how to provide SRV record for Director pool in Lync 2013 environment

Hi ,
I am Deploying an Lync Enterprise edition server with high redundancy, I have already deployed the below servers,
fepool1.xxx.com, fepool2.xx.com, Exum.xx.com, RootAD.xx.com,
CA.xx.com, Sql01.xxx.com, Sql02.xxx.com.
I have already deployed frontend pool, Now I trying Depoly director pool with the set up., But My replication Status is Failed for director server.
In DNS , A records is created as below,
dir01 Host A 10.221.10.107
dir02 Host A 10.221.10.108
dir Host A 10.221.10.107
dir Host A 10.221.10.108
Pls suggest me, What I need to add in SRV record.... for DNS load Balancing

Hi Sudheer,
Unfortunately there is no standard way of having a select-option in a module pool program.
What you can try is having two fields and creating a range in your program and populating the range at runtime with respective value and trying to simulate some functionality of the select-option.

1) Goto QMEL table read OBJNR of the notification.
2) Pass the notification number and the language to the function module "STATUS_TEXT_EDIT".
in the return parameter read the parameter LINE, based on the first four characters you can find out the status of the notification.
OSNO - Outstanding notification
NOPR - Notification in process
NOCO - Notification completed

But you could pass the user-agent as incoming claim type Client User agent. User-agents can be manipulated, so if that is an issue you can look into Device Registration and the Device OS type from there. That is also a incoming claim but requires DRS and
DRS is not available for all plattforms.

SRV Record for TC Software(SX20,C20)

We tested DNS SRV record for two VCS-Cs that are not clustered.
MCU works fine with those SRV records, but C20, SX20 do not work.
Can't TC endpoints receive SRV records?

Sorry for the late reply.
I mentioned "MCU works fine with those SRV records, " but actually it didn't work.
The MCU just received two GKs IP addresses as Alternative Gatekeeper.
Now we use records below.
We configure "vcs1.test.local" as an SX20's Gatekeeper.
But when "vcs1.test.local" fails, the SX20 never register with "vcs2.test.local".

I am not a having a good knowledge in file server so if anything is wrong please correct me .
Level 3 admin : I just wanted my level 3 admins need to provide a full permission and to do a changes on all the files and folders.
Level 2 admin : I just wanted level 2 admins only need to provide a permission for all the files and folder with read and modify access.
Level 1 Admin : I just wanted level 1 admins need to provide only a permission for all the files and folder with read access.
Simply i can say ,in file server i need to have a RBAC to provide the access on the file servers based on the IT admins levels.

I have downloaded B2B mapping kit and B2B toolkit into IR and uploaded SCA files into PI server.
But I can not see any mappings provided for 820/824 by SAP in B2B mapping kit.
Please share your comments.

And i guess SAP has provided example mappings only for 810,830 and 850.
I am unable to see the example mappings provided by sap for 820/824 in B2B mapping toolkit.
Is there any way or place to find the example mappings for these formats?

Calculated Columns can only generate a value from fields of the current item. And only some types of fields (for example, it can't use a lookup column).

The GSS itself only supports A records, meaning it only responds to that type of query from a client. You can configure an NS forwarder to push non-A records to another server that can handle it. As well, you can run CNR in conjunction with the GSS which will respond to MX, SRV, and NS records. Some versions of GSS code allowed you to run CNR on the GSS itself. (CNR = Cisco Network Registrar).
More specifically to your question - CNR supports RFC 2052 (SRV records) and is fully interoperable with Dynamic DNS SRV records (RFC 2782).
